放寬限聚令,可6人一枱,當然熱鬧多多,好想去老蘭,隔别半年,但都不敢,蘭友去到忘形,除口罩周圍走,揀soho區餐廳,意大利菜唔揀,記得有次在此飲Drinking, 印象食物吸引,英國菜,就來此。去到未夠7時,已滿8成人,興奮開心聲浪此起彼落, 充斥全店每個各落,勁多啤酒種類選擇,與炸魚薯條,是三生三世分不開。因主菜太大份,所以只選頭盤,試多些款式:酸種包伴煙燻鲭魚醬$86,包外薄脆香軟煙靭,鲭魚經薰陶,特別醒神,鲭香滿嘴,紅菜頭蓉清新口腔,但份量少焗肉腸卷pork and black pudding$84,英式香草豬血腸餡,外衣千層鬆香,食時零星飄散,肉質幼嫩,無血羶味,不說只有豬肉碎加某汁,蘸bbq 汁,帶出肉香炸手指魚$88,青瓜粒他他醬,手指魚外脆内嫩,大大條粗身,醬汁微酸滑滑,不用多說,無得酸種包伴煙薰什菌蒜汁醬$84,可能酱汁濕濕地,什菌燻香味谈咗,沒有蒜汁味,微辣,也不失禮與包配搭,加牛油果,或平平地一加黑松露油,我會更滿意!此時飲杯啤,lovecraft half@45全晚實在太熱鬧,個個都要擘大口講嘢,否則聽不到,me too,盡討心中情,開懷暢飲一樂也! continue reading

Hands down the best pie in Hk. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff are super friendly.Only criticism was the the pastry on the pie was too sweet. Still it was delicious.The beer selection is very good and overall the pricing is quite fair. continue reading

之前係英國旅行食過mushroom pie,份量超大,先知原來外國人會當係一份正餐,味道都好好食,念念不忘,然後俾我發現香港有間餐廳可以做到英國的味道。一入到去The Globe,已經好似置身英國嘅pub咁,樓底超高,裝修有少少英式懷舊嘅感覺。客人都係以外國人為主,睇住佢哋一路食嘢一路嘆啤酒,我連嘢食都未嗌已經覺得好chill,好似去咗英國咁目標好明確,不過原來pie嘅選擇唔係係餐牌,反而寫喺牆嘅黑板。因為第一次食,所以都選擇佢好出名嘅beef beer mushroom pie。佢可以揀兩個side dishes,其實都係豆同薯仔嘅唔同煮法。內心諗住英國嘅Fish N’ Chips,所以衝口而出叫咗薯條,但等緊嘅時候,有一刻諗食批又食薯條,好似會好乾。不過已經嗌左,就由佢啦等咗一陣已經上枱啦,個pie嘅size同”粗獷”程度真係好像樣,毫無花巧嘅擺盤又真係幾有英國local pub嘅模樣個pie有少少爆汁,好吸引。一次落去,已經聽到pie皮嘅脆聲,入邊超多汁超多餡。一食落去,脆得尼入面好moist,個汁好惹味,濃味嘅汁抵消咗個批嘅油膩感。另外好多汁,口感唔會好dry。慢慢食食吓就會覺得比較鹹同口渴,不過英國菜就係咁,醒目嘅我已經一早嗌定啤酒Side dish薯條亦都夠熱夠脆口,好食嘅,不過我係覺得食pie配creamy薯蓉先至係最夾。我會為咗食批而再嚟呢一間餐廳,下次我就一定會叫薯蓉㗎啦 continue reading

有朋友最近係英國番左黎,隔離完十四日之後約我食好西,佢同我講有人推薦佢去食一間好有英國wetherspoon嘅餐廳,are you serious????好,就比一次機會佢!地點:地點真係幾難搵,要花一啲時間先搵到...特別要係度同openrice投訴,就係個map location同個地址唔一樣!!搞到我地行左好多冤枉路環境:一打開門,嘩....以前讀書嘅回憶返曬黎!想當年作為一個輸L嘅書生黎講,wetherspoon係我一間成日去嘅餐廳,因為夠平又夠chill,呢度簡直係有八成相似!長方形bar枱,英式卡位,仲有波子機呀!真係照足好多英式pub嘅設計去裝修。除此之外,入面十枱有八枱都係外國人,入到去簡直係平行時空,猶如回歸到大不列顛國一樣回憶返曬黎!食物質素:餐廳提供一系列嘅英式美食,但主菜都係有極多款式嘅酒比大家選擇!單單係wine menu都成吋厚!入面有世界各地嘅啤酒,而當中都不乏本地各大自家釀製嘅啤酒!Beef, beer and mushroom pie($160)以前weekend就會去pub食番個pie當brunch,大件夾抵食又飽!今日先試呢款pie。配菜可以跟薯蓉、薯條或者沙律,仲可以配多一款豆。最後揀左薯條同green peas。先講下佢個酥皮,外面對香脆入面鬆軟,唔會一切落去就散晒,切到入面就會爆曬餡多到流出黎!真係啖啖肉!可以外國人會邊食邊飲啤嘅關係,味道方面會偏咸,蘑菇味較重,值得表揚係店主唔會為左生意而將食物調到啱當地人口味,唔怪得咁受外國人歡迎啦!再加上特製嘅燒汁,令到成個菜嘅味道更加提升!推薦!下次黎要試埋其他餡先得!啤酒方面我叫左一樽本地啤,black我kite double dollar,屬於DIPA,酒味相對較濃,酒精濃度會較高,偏苦,但配落偏咸嘅英式美食就會出奇地覺得好夾!24hrs slow cook pork belly ($140)另外再叫左一個set lunch,有份2 courses同3 courses,主要差別就係少左個甜品,包coffee or tea。湯係一個青豆湯,味道濃郁夠creamy,加上少少洋蕃茜調味,幾好味😋只可惜主茶就有啲失望,薯塊、汁同埋無乜問題,main嘅豬腩肉都幾失望...雖然煮得幾嫩滑同有入口即溶嘅感覺,但肉有啲淡同埋唔夠味,外皮仲嚴重overcook,煮到溶溶地咁,點切都切唔到,一口咬落去仲好痴牙....所以真係麻麻地同有啲失望服務:服務方面就唔係好似wetherspoon啦😂店員好熱情,面帶笑容又會成日問你覺得點,又會主動問你要唔要茄汁,另外見我地食完咸野,又會主動問你要唔要飲杯水。價錢:價錢係香港食lunch係會偏貴,但今次黎食都係想搵番果種英式pub嘅感覺,野食上個pie係完全屬於高分之選,搵一個下晝坐下慢慢chill下係唔錯架! continue reading

看過youtuber的介紹,懷念以前的Dickens Bar,星期六來這裏吃午餐。室內地方寬敞,一排排的卡位,英式酒吧的情懷。二人點了個抵食的午餐,再點了這兒有名的pie,有多款的選擇,我們要了傳統的蘑菇牛肉批, 當然,到酒吧總要喝啤酒吧午餐頭盤選了crispy lamb ribs,有驚喜羊炸得酥香好吃,伴碟的 mint sauce 很配合這道菜,開心指數立時升高了午餐主菜要了Duck leg conflict,鴨髀肉酥軟,伴碟的薯仔和豆都好吃。Dessert of the day 係 american cheese cake, 又是意外的好吃, 還伴了一球雲呢拿雪糕 午餐只需165,CP 值高肉批選擇了沙律做配菜,還有豆蓉,一大碟的很豐盛。肉批切開熱騰騰的,牛肉蘑菇餡是經典的組合,點會唔好食呀 埋單連飲品每人不用200蚊,ok呀 continue reading
