To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

“Exotic España Italia” Buffet to enjoy unlimited Crab Legs and Seafood
The Astor at Eaton HK invites guests to indulge in a gastronomic journey around Europe with its "Exotic España Italia" Buffet. With Italian and Spanish cuisine as the star of the buffet, guests will be transported to Europe and can enjoy a delectable spread of more than 200 food items. Seafood lovers can tuck into an unlimited supply of fresh seafood, including Oysters, Boston Lobsters, Brown Crabs, and also Snow Crab Legs available during dinner time on Fridays to Sundays and public holidays. Guests can also enjoy unlimited juices, specialty drinks, coffee, and tea, experiencing a comprehensive buffet experience!

Seafood lovers can tuck into an unlimited supply of fresh seafood, including New Zealand Oysters, Boston Lobsters, Brown Crabs, Crayfish, Prawns, and Sea Whelks. In addition, there are also fresh and sweet Snow Crab Legs available during dinner time on Fridays to Sundays and public holidays. To add to the European theme, a selection of hot seafood dishes will also be available, including Braised Fish, a hearty Portuguese Seafood Curry, and a heartwarming Italian Seafood Stew that guarantees an explosion of flavor with every bite.
To recreate the joyous atmosphere in Spain, a mouthwatering Spanish Roast Suckling Pig will be sliced and served to guests to enjoy from the carving station every Monday to Wednesday evening, as well as a hearty Squid Ink Paella with fresh mussels and tiger prawns adding a depth of flavor to the national dish. Diners will be presented with a satiating selection of tapas, including marinated olives, sun dried tomatoes, marinated artichokes and pickled vegetables.
In honor of Italian Cuisine, a Porchetta Romana will be available, featuring marinated pork belly in aromatic herbs stuffed with fragrant garlic and cooked until golden perfection, as well as a rich and creamy Parmesan Cheese Wheel Pasta that celebrates the best flavors of Italy.
An Italian meal would not be complete without a pizza. The Astor will feature a luxurious Lobster Pizza with meaty lobster and flavorful tomato sauce. Other options include elevated dishes inspired by Portuguese and Greek cuisine, such as Grilled Sardine, Baked Chicken, and a Souvlaki Spiced Lamb Rack that is marinated with fragrant herbs for a depth of flavor before it's perfectly baked for a tender and flavor-packing bite.
End the gastronomic journey around Europe on a sweet note with The Astor's signature desserts inspired by Italian and Spanish classics, including a rich and creamy Basque Cheesecake, Passion Fruit Zuccotto, a fruity Mixed Berry Tiramisu, and a lavish Fruit Pizza.
