To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Food and Health Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department has launched the "League of RSS-friendly Restaurants" ("League"). Restaurants participated in the League will offer less-salt-and-sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 今天經過旺角,由於是午飯時間,周圍也有很多人排隊吃飯,看見太興沒有太多人,便進去了。環境十分大,很快便有位置坐下。我叫了一客太興燒味最出名的叉燒飯,並一杯熱奶茶。大概幾分鐘後便有了。叉燒飯上面大概有七至八塊叉燒,全部都是半肥瘦,一咬下去,肉脂和肉汁的分佈剛好,還有一些椰菜作伴碟。美中不足的是白飯溫度不夠熱,所以在吃到後期的時候很容易變硬及比較乾身。而且比較細碟,不過如果下次來也會再叫半肥瘦的叉燒吃。奶茶方面,喝進口裏十分香滑,我個人比較喜愛喝熱的奶茶,因為甜度可以自己調校。喜歡較濃茶味的人,可以不加糖,味道便剛剛好。 continue reading

一年一度辦年貨時間又到。血拼一輪後,快快搵個地方保充體力。曾經覺得太興都算係有品質保證,可惜被今天的下午茶破壞了。羅宋湯通粉配四式卷「圖片僅供參考」一份價錢,十數粒通粉在浮沉,勉強說服自己,下午茶份量係少啲。羅宋湯一層油浮喺面,睇見已經唔想放入口。凍冰冰的四式卷,即係蟹柳魚卷,皮乾,肉淡,大概廚房懶得返熱吧。乾炒牛河炒到碎晒,碎到夾唔起,要用匙羹食。牛肉數量如圖,數得到咁多塊,又韌又老。乾炒牛河就預咗會多油,但這個也太油了吧。師傅功力太差了,食物質量太低,一分錢沒有半分貨。 continue reading

今日有事同朋友原本諗住食粉麵,到午餐時又想食飯,企喺雅蘭門口好容易便望到太興燒味窗邊掛滿燒味,走近看,燒味頭上隆起一個髻,係燒鵝呀!好耐無食了,而家一般燒味店都只用燒鴨。入到去二話不說叫了兩個燒鵝脾飯朋友要求原隻嘅不到十分鐘兩個飯一齊到...賣相十分吸引...吃起來鵝味濃,鵝肉肉質嫩滑,油分甘香皮燒得脆脆香口,沾一下酸梅醬,很滿足!至於白飯,雖不是頂級白米,但質素不俗,是一粒粒完整米粒。絕非米糠之輩。雖然比一般的燒味飯貴少少,要對自己的味蕾和胃好一點,貴少少都食一餐兩個套餐也有東西喝我要了杯凍檸茶少甜凍檸茶茶味夠檸檬都算夠,少甜真的是少甜朋友的凍奶茶沒有什麼好說..另外這裡也有小菜同炒炒麵的!見到也有魚套餐,下次有機會試試。 continue reading
