如同牠們的味道

這讓在下回想起這條魚
以前用過來做南蠻漬的 😆
可說是鹿兒島的名物
也是現在的季節魚
今天以寿司的樣子呈現
雪白透明的魚片
兩側閃亮的銀帶 帶著幼細的黑線
非常的奪目
撻在寿司飯上處處精細到極點
銀身魚特有的味道
肉質 層次 白昆布的微酸醋味

第二件是赤身
吞拿魚身上 在下比較喜歡的部位
赤身走不掉的
其次就是半生熟的血すつぽい
第三便是腦天
當然還有很多的部位都持著不同的特質
而在下喜歡赤身的魚味

On the day we were there for dinner omakase, there were two outstanding items which were the oyster (super fresh and sweet) and the wagyu dish (tender and flavorful). The wagyu dish was actually a pleasant surprise and the wow factor of the menu.

As for the sushi items, ingredients wise, they are fresh but there is room for improvement for the overall taste and texture.

Overall, the dinner omakase is of fair value as they do serve you with a variety of ingredients instead of just repeated types of white fish that some places do. It is a rather small shop so don’t expect it to be too comfy.

Price: HK$1800-2000 pp (dinner omakase)

I don’t prefer any non-fish sashimi, and also, uni, pass; wagyu, errr nope; foie gras, no thanks: oysters, maaaybe. The chefs and restaurant manager here took good care of me with mostly just fish products. The chefs and restaurant manager here took good care of me with mostly just fish products. The charming chef in glasses was also very knowledgeable and did some fun storytelling on the ingredients *swoon.


I like the trivia of the kibinago (silver-stripe round herring) from Kagoshima. Kininago キビナゴ (吉備奈子): as discriminating as it sound but it’s fact that Japanese culture likes to use a feminine name for small things sometimes hence the fish is named 奈子 (like a girl/wife). Imagine this 豪邁聲線: 我哋今晚要奈子😏黎10個,我請!


The herrings were silvery (light reflecting) and partly transparent. They had a soft but bouncy texture. A hint of anchovy savoriness and with 回甘.
