清晨6點可以做什麼?正是喝早茶的時間,來到西環這家有名的點心店,早已座無虛席,隨便找個位置搭枱,坐好開吃。想吃點心除了下單外,亦可以從一堆蒸籠中自己挑選,完全的舊式風格,客人來來往往的感覺很特別。有什麼吃什麼,第一回合有不常吃的蝦米腸,就算不加醬料也頗好吃,鵪鶉蛋燒賣熱氣騰騰,蛋味濃香、硬度適中、口感不錯,粉果則比較普通。接下來是重點回合,坐計程車來時司機極力推薦這裡流沙包,當然要試。熱騰騰的流沙包,流沙程度不太強,但一咬下去鹹蛋黃的味道馬上充滿味蕾,又不至於搶去甜味,就算本來對鹹蛋黃沒感也覺得好吃。鳳爪質感爽彈,醬料濃郁,微微辣的滋味十分誘人。到了第三回合,燒賣一籠四大件份量十足,略嫌比較乾身,蝦餃皮薄晶瑩,可以吃到蝦的鮮味。特別的有很久沒吃到的炸鮮奶,外皮薄而脆,內餡滿滿的奶香,不足之處是有點過甜。最後一個回合以咖喱金錢肚和山竹牛肉作結,兩款點心都有一定水準,值得一吃。算下來兩個人橫掃10款點心,吃超級飽。店員都很好很願意幫忙,又記得客人想吃什麼、有時會主動通知點心出爐,搭枱的熟客也很友善。雖然環境不怎樣,地點亦不算方便,但有機會的話,還是會想再來,試一試其他點心,感受老店和街坊的

好好味的懷舊點心買少見少,仲要自己做嘅更難能可貴,不過呢一間舖頭做得到。一起步就出去殺了一堆點心返黎︰叉燒包、流沙包、燒賣、金錢肚、棉花雞,同埋影了四份一碟的腸粉。咁多樣之中我覺得最好食係棉花雞,D棉花(魚肚)同D雞好鮮味,魚肚唔會太林。第二好食就係燒賣,食落去覺得D材料好新鮮。返而個流沙包有少少失望,因為其實佢唔太流,不過都係好味的。

如標題所說自家製點心要支持,因為現在很多地方的點心都是從工場交來的行貨,難得見到點心師傅即場包蝦餃,真心覺得好正。兩個人吃不了太多東西,就叫了三樣,蝦餃、糯米包與及炸鮮奶。蝦餃並不是標榜入面有原隻大蝦的那種高級檔次精品蝦餃,不過可以見到師傅即場以閃電手包蝦餃,而且價錢相宜,所以我個人覺得不錯。至於糯米包,外皮做得很薄,入面的配料很新鮮,味道很好,印象中外面很少地方食得到。最後是炸鮮奶,可以遂件叫,才$6/件,炸粉漿很薄,裡面的鮮奶很滑,三樣之中我覺得炸鮮奶味道最好,最值得試。

Sun Hung has been my favourite dim sum restaurant in HK where the foreigners called it 3am-dim-sum-place. Why is it called in such way? Because the shop opens from 3am till 4pm. It used to be my favourite spot for midnight supper in university, and now, as we arent not young anymore, so we come here for 2pm dim sum haha. Sun Hung has been my favourite dim sum restaurant in HK where the foreigners called it 3am-dim-sum-place. Why is it called in such way? Because the shop opens from 3am till 4pm. It used to be my favourite spot for midnight supper in university, and now, as we arent not young anymore, so we come here for 2pm dim sum haha. I would say its the most authentic dim sum place where you can see the C fu making and streaming the dim sum, meanwhile its all self service that you go to the catering corner and take the dim sum yourself. All dishes are delicious, especially siu mai and custards bun which are my favourite. And the food is cheap as well!

在電視報章看過關於這間點心店的報道,一直都很感興趣,終於在元旦日,是一事。1月1號中午12:30 ,店舖已經爆滿,門口排10幾人,我們估計不會排很來,所以繼續排。最後等了大約20分鐘,在人迫迫坐下了,一張小圓枱,坐上六個人,非常擠迫,旁邊走路通道也十分窄,門口迫爆外賣,排隊和俾錢的人,簡直是一片混亂。擠迫如此,點心阿姨仍然努力拿着新鮮的點心叫賣,點心款式不算很多,但基本的也有,我們點了蝦餃,皮比較厚,味道也沒有特別。腸粉也一樣,一般。精彩的,有金錢肚,非常新鮮,加上特別的咖喱汁,很好味。一定要讚流沙包,黃色的奶皇,爆汁,食落去亦十分有沙沙的感覺。燒賣也很不錯,顏色和味道也很特別。坐走廊旁邊的人要特別小心,點心和茶會在你的頭上經過,下一次最好找小人一點的時間到才去,價錢也比較便宜,可以媲美添好運。

新興食家其實都去過幾次,但一直未有寫過食評。第三次去當然要補番個食評。這天早上11點幾,就大老遠走到了見你哋,就係為咗食新興食家。店面一如以往的十分熱鬧,人頭湧湧。蝦餃、燒賣、鳳爪、糯米包和奶皇包基本上都係必點的。因為係第三次嚟,所以食物味道更加清楚。其實蝦餃和燒賣、鳳爪等,基本上價錢和味道跟出邊的酒樓都差不多,不過係因為小店,感覺是多了一份本土特色和街坊情懷。糯米包皮薄餡靚,糯米飯粒粒分明,我覺得是保持水準的,但至於今次的流沙包,卻十分令人失望。因為流沙都硬了,奶黃餡黐埋變到一嚿嚿。金錢肚入味又爽口彈牙,也是保持水準的,但至於棉花雞、腸粉等,可說是不過爾爾。尤其豬膶燒賣,快豬潤乾到又鞋又老,食唔入口。埋單價錢和去酒樓飲茶差不多,不過因為小店,感覺比較有特色。你說會不會再來?會的,不過不會是短時間之內了。
