Although we were with friends having a good evening, everything was ruined by an incompetent waiter who literally ripped us off. Service was way below average and the waiter recommended a beer “slightly more expensive” than a Peroni (that is the response we were given when we enquirer for pricing). We should have just said “no” as you ended up paying 300HKD for an average Italian stuff. No excuse, no apologies as it just appeared normal to the waiter once we started complaining. The waiter even wanted us to feel guilty for his mistake and seemed to blame us not to be able to « afford this ». On top of that food was really average and way too expensive. Forget the waiter’s smile and thank you! Absolute disappointment. Never going again! continue reading

高街比我嘅印象係鬼屋、車房,但原來依家係未來嘅蘭桂坊正街往西環打後嘅高街夜晚全部部外國人進駐,見到住起上環嘅外國人都特登慢慢行過去搵嘢食有好多餐廳,唔同種類嘅菜式,就係無乜港式、中餐,彷彿突然置身外地一樣今次揀左呢間細細地,個dinner set又多種類選擇我地嗌左兩個set,有頭盤,Main Course 同埋甜品頭盤就Order左🍽<Soup of the day>雖然係餐湯,係第一次西餐飲到咁清嘅湯,好味🍽<Grandmother Meatballs>菠菜味嘅cream source配細細粒嘅西式肉丸,好夾兩個頭盤配薄餅都係一絕Main course就揀左🍽<Tenderloin Steak>真心高質嘅Steak,表皮緊緊鎖住入面粉嫩嘅肉,無敵好味🍽<Lamb shank>超級入味嘅羊,秘制配方慢煮,D肉一篤落去就離骨,好嫩滑入味仲有自家制甜品埋尾,好享受高街越來越多有質素嘅擦廳,要慢慢試曬佢先 continue reading

Ordered tomato and mozzarella cheese starter and steak as main. Good quality and price. Dessert is on the house which was a little home Made cake which is average taste. But we had a feeling that the boss wanted us to hurry all courses and wanted us to leave ASAP once you finished the dinner around 9kisk. Good for quick meal but have pressure if one prefers to stay longer over after dinner coffee. Will not go back as not good feeling when you were kept asking what else you wanted or not wanted etc... can sit down peacefully for proper dinner outside even these days. continue reading

這是我跟男朋友第一次約會的餐廳,所以今年決定在這裡慶祝情人節。老闆都好熱心,每吃完一道菜就會上第二度菜,不會讓你久等。雖然店舖不大,但我享受這裡的小空間。義大利麵包是他們一向的頭盤,但這次的小牛肉片既香又爽,不會韌,然後三文魚他他是用油黏在一起,咸度剛剛好。燴飯跟肉眼不用說了的好吃。他們的燴飯有魷魚,明蝦,慢燉藜麥和意大利米,充滿口感。我最意外是他們新出的慢煮梨,不會太甜,亦不會太林,軟硬適中,十分可口。最後還贈送了一朵玫瑰花,十分貼心呢。 continue reading

吃過銅鑼灣的The Mast, 深深喜歡了它。無論沙律、芝士、意粉、薄餅還是甜品,都合我口味。有次去高街,驚訝原來有分店。跟名字一樣,餐牌有點不同,有肉類,選擇亦較多。Smoke salmon and mozzarella cheese水牛芝士不及濕濕的burrata好吃,是我們落單時沒留意。淡淡的奶香,還好。三文魚的賣相一般,吃起來倒可以,不算太差。不過,沒有想要的清新或驚喜。多士烘得暖暖的,帶脆。加了橄欖油和黑醋,帶油香,酸酸甜甜,有菌香又有芝士添上的濕度,不錯。Margherita幸好pizza保持水準。蕃茄醬鮮而不甜,有時候實在甜得太人造。crust焗得好,脆得剛好。不過芝士太多,多得硬了,要像吃香口膠般不斷咀嚼。被賣相嚇了一嚇,跟想像實在差太遠。雞有點乾和嚡,再加煮掉的parma ham偏鹹,味道不討好。有點兒酒香,像花雕煮雞。唯獨薯條炸得幾好。sabayon朱古力味夠,不算太甜,只有非常微弱的酒香。食物只算普通,但店員很友善,會跟食客談幾句,又應我們要求拿了幾枝酒出來給我們看看。氣氛開心,但吃過銅鑼灣店期望很高,味道方面就有點失望。 continue reading
