Wing早前來到位於銅鑼灣開平道1號 Cubus 的SR Gallery Cafe,Wing早已聽聞這是一所充滿藝術氣氛的餐廳了~果然聞名不如見面。蒲走進餐廳裡就看到很有情調的座位跟很多不同的畫作嚕~Wing今次吃的是Set Dinner~先來一個沙律~沙律有火腿跟生菜,這個是很穩陣的菜式,沒有甚麼不同式或是古惑的地方唷~而火腿跟生菜跟少許沙律醬,三者之間總有一種不能分割的關係~XD這是一個很滑但很有口感的湯,味道剛好,不會太鹹的,而且湯的面上加了一點點的忌廉似的東東在調味~很香的,還沒有放進咀裡,但已經食指大動了~這個主菜是牛扒來的丫~Wing要的其實是八成熟啦,但感覺它是六成熟似的。Wing很怕牛肉不夠新鮮,過生會不好吃。幸好,這個還可以啦~沒有太難咀嚼的,反而入口就是感到牛扒是新鮮的、淋身的,加上牛肉本身有夠靚的,即使六成熟或七成熟都還可以啦~至於薯蓉嘛,就是吸收了點點牛扒的醬汁,加上薯蓉入面有薯仔粒的,香滑薯蓉加上粒粒薯仔,很可口的丫~最後就是甜品了~它的上層就是綠茶奶凍,綠茶味還可以吧,幸好夠滑溜搭夠。吃到最底層就是綠茶的精華吧,挺甘香的。但要是綠茶味更重更濃郁,整個甜品的分數一定會有所提升的~ continue reading

是日和CW吃了午餐後,由於我太大食,只有午餐不能滿足我,再加上我們想在看電影前找個地方坐下來傾計,所以來了銅鑼灣覓食。之前有看過關於 SR Gallery (方圓藝廊) 的資料及食評,在想它的氣氛應該不錯,亦有下午茶套餐供應,便帶CW來。上了Cubus,找到了Cafe。雖然Cafe佔了整層,但實質並不是很大。大慨一半至三份一的空間用了來放畫及藝術品。星期六的兩三點左右布不是太多人,全都是午膳快完畢的食客。帶位及落單的侍應們都很友善。我和CW商量後點了兩個 Tea set。話說那時候別的食客大部份都是快要吃完午餐,可是侍應們都仍然很忙,好不容易才叫到人來下單。我們點了2個 Tea Set。大約五至十分鐘後,那名女侍應竟然向我們確認order,原來那時她先入機替我們入單,期間我可是聽到她和開放式廚房內的員工有說有笑,大慨笑得客人點了什麼也笑走了吧。不知這是一個什麼system。首先上來的是飲品,我們加錢要了貴點的咖啡。我的是Cappuccino,CW要的是Green Tea Latte。話說另一名男侍應奉咖啡來的時候手大大的抖了一下,抖得Cappuccino差點濺出來。Cappuccino不熱,沒有什麼咖啡味,只覺得很苦。CW的Green Tea Latte 綠茶味不太濃,但比Cappuccino好。我們要的第一個set是 Single Egg Benedict with Mixed Green Salad (班尼迪蛋(半份)配 什菜沙律) ($78)。另一個是Buckwheat Waffle with Fresh Fruit and Ice Cream (蕎麥窩夫 配 鮮果及雪糕) ($78)。等了一回才上了benedict,賣相不怎麼樣,未能引起食慾。蛋下有類似火腿/Bacon的肉。蛋沒有蛋味,英式鬆餅很淋,Hollandaise sauce 也是淡淡的,不好吃。吃完Benedict後Waffle還未來,催單說會為我們跟。但那時Cafe沒有什麼人,廚師在忙什麼?到最後再等了一會我說要取消單侍應先說正在弄。半份蕎麥窩夫是有多難弄?吃下去沒有特別,不過麥味倒是挺重,但稍為太淋不夠脆。Oh,兩份 Tea Set 加貴點的咖啡可是要大約100元一個人,但味道不好,服務輕挑,慢動作處事,錢算是白花了。不過,那些差不多吃完午餐的人心情看起來卻不錯。。。  continue reading

這天跟L小姐特意來瞻仰一下藝術氣息,順便醫肚。走入方圓藝廊,覺得像被一層薄紗濃罩住,像與世隔絕,特別寧靜;落地玻璃加上非常寬敞的進食環境,簡潔明亮,讓人感覺舒服。點餐之後逛了一下,發現很多有趣的藝術品,像是「豬事大吉」,「童顏三寶」,還有「舞孃」,「友誼」,都很有意思。另外還有大量出自同一人手筆的油畫,大都以農村,田園生活為主題,看得人輕鬆自在,實在很適合擺放在這裡。餐湯(7.5/10)和麵包(9/10)先上,忘了店員的介紹,看顏色以為是栗子湯之類的,但聞下去沒有什麼味道,入口一陣清新的青豆味,應該是青豆濃湯吧,齒間能吃到極細微的豆渣,雖然我不特別愛青豆,效果蠻不錯。簡單兩個麵包居然有驚喜,應該是新鮮烤焗,中間又香又軟,表面烘得稍脆還有些oak碎,令簡單的麵包口感更佳。青豆雞肉意大利飯 $138 (6.5/10)身為risotto fans的L小姐來說,只要餐牌有risotto,9成都會點它,這天也不例外。菜端上桌時很有Eat Green的感覺,因為雞肉顏色太淺了,幾乎被綠色完全蓋過去。吃一口,有點太淡了,risotto看似很稠但入口又不夠creamy,雞肉肉質還算嫩但同樣沒有什麼味道。如果把雞肉去掉,應該更適合作為一道vegetarian的菜式吧。是日精選:黑毛豬扒 $228 (8.5/10)還有兩道是日精選沒有在餐牌上,其中一個是這個黑毛豬扒。燒汁黑毛豬,加上薯蓉和紅蘿蔔,形成一個簡單的設計。黑毛豬肉質嫩滑,入口肉汁豐盈,非常不錯。薯蓉反而不怎麼合我胃口,有很重的橄欖油味道,是我不喜歡的味道,吃了一口就放棄了。反倒紅蘿蔔非常鮮甜,煮得又很軟腍,我們倆就像兔子一樣在搶食。朱古力心太軟 $88 (8/10)主菜後當然不能少了甜品,聽說這裡的心太軟不錯,於是提早點了一個。賣相實在不怎麼樣,brownie本身基本上可以說是醜樣。切開流心做得不錯,凝固流心狀拿捏得不錯,朱古力不會一下子就流光。雖然brownie不好看,但味道實在不錯,不會太甜,也不會太heavy;配上簡單香草雪糕,屬水準之作。白酒芒果沙巴翁 $65 (8.5/10)這個是店方推介,我們也樂於嚐新。不知道該如何形容,外形像一個烤蛋糕,但吃上來完全不是這麼回事。外面的一層像是pizza/buritto皮,旁邊還烤得有一點點焦,頗香口。中間的芒果也是烤過,暖暖的,配上奶味濃郁的custard,不會太甜,芒果味道也很出。整體味道有8分,加上0.5分的創意分,值得一試。方圓藝廊不論環境還是服務都滿分,食物質素不俗而且甜品意外的比主菜更有驚喜,如果想找一個安靜,可以聊天的地方進餐,這裡會是我首推的餐廳。 continue reading

天生是一個零藝術細胞的人,在學校裡音樂、繪畫、書法等課堂,雖相較其他主科感覺輕鬆,但每每都是本著交功課的性質去完成任務。踏足社會後,發覺沒有一項值得與人深入交流的話題,以電影欣賞這類當時最普及的工餘活動來作比喻,電影故事、劇情難不了我,可是與電影有著協同效應的插曲或配樂,便是我的盲點,即使先前可口若懸河地在討論劇情的我,就是這些盲點令我馬上失聲變成尷尬的啞巴!其他有關藝術方面的專長,就如一張白紙,更加不用多提了!雖然不算是重大的缺憾,但短短數十年的人生當中,應當作多方面接觸和嘗試,至少不會錯失有可能令人生有所得著的事物。 自上次獲邀到方圓試食,竟啓發了我欣賞畫作的興趣,更藉試食的機會一睹畫家陳章紅的畫冊,因而對點畫產生了特殊的好感,適逢方圓六月份展出中國著名田園畫家李方霖的點畫,那又怎可以錯過呢?步進方圓,果然耳目一新,牆壁上懸掛著粉綠、粉藍、啡黃為主色的畫作,構圖層次分明,畫面中的樹木、天空、河流、村屋和鄉民日常生活等,均充滿濃厚的鄉土情懷,所採用之 "點描法",以原色小點拼合畫面,能想像得到難度高之餘,所花心思亦不少。當然除了畫作之外,亦不乏其他藝術擺設和雕塑等。在畫作前繞了一圈,感應到畫家李方霖對鄉土那份細緻的情懷,尤其在描繪鄉民的生活習慣中盡現。還是先醫肚後,然後才慢慢仔細欣賞。在多款的下午茶套餐中,老公選了 Single Egg Benedict with Mixed Green Salad。Egg Benedict 被煎香了的煙肉包著,呈微微的焦黑,蛋黃金黃潤澤。入口滿載了雞蛋的潤滑、煙肉的鹹香、鬆餅的軟綿,再加上蛋黃的郁香,口感與味覺同樣非常豐富。而旁邊的沙律更為 Egg Benedict 平添了一份清新。平日甚少主動選擇甜食,當天憶起方圓 Winnie 曾提及她的老闆特意請國內農夫為方圓種植蕎麥,而市場上大部份的蕎麥都是供往日本,坊間蕎麥供應因而變得稀少,於是決定一試。Buckwheat Waffle 表層顏色深啡,具酥香;裡面口感軟軟韌韌,彈性與密度也相當高。不用塗上牛油或任何果醬,Buckwheat Waffle 已透出自然的香氣,加上質感豐富,不愛甜食的我,也喜歡上這份自然簡單,且不用修飾的 Buckwheat Waffle。偶爾會將雲呢拿雪糕放到 Buckwheat Waffle 上一同進食,甜香冰凍頗有玩味。以為水果會是 Buckwheat Waffle 的大配角,怎料藍梅、士多啤梨、奇異果及哈蜜瓜均甜香鮮美,再一次顯示方圓對食材的嚴格要求。在畫作前徘徊,嘗試進一步細味著畫家李方霖筆下的鄉土情懷。在方圓欣賞畫作與其他藝術品,不用故作高深,只要自我陶醉,很自然地便進入另一個世界裡。李方霖樸實的點畫令我感受到一片恬靜及舒暢,縱使您我的藝術領域與專家們的眼光不一樣,但只要能讓心靈去接觸,便能開闢及培養一個自我的藝術天地。期待方圓七月份的新主題。 continue reading

Got invited my lovely sister for a birthday dinner, we both wanted to find a quiet place for a secret girls' talk yet with excellent food, so she has chosen this cuisine which we had a few pleasant lunch experiences in the past.生日將至, 親愛的妹妹相約我來一頓慶生晚餐。因為想找一家又能靜靜地談心又能享受高質素食物的地方, 想起之前曾在這家藝廊餐廳吃過質素很高的午餐, 所以在這特別的日子又來到這裡慶祝~The good thing about this cafe is that it's partially an art gallery and partially a cafe, once you step into the cafe, you will be surrounded by various art pieces, this help relaxing ones mind from the busy everyday life.很喜歡這家餐廳的一點是它既是藝廊也是餐廳, 每次踏進餐廳就會被不同的藝術作品包圍, 它能使我從繁忙的生活中逃離出來, 得到喘息。 Cafe's Foie Gras special 香煎鵝肝The foie gras was really juicy and yet it was not oily at all. Credits should definitely go to the apple slice with caramel + orange skin with honey. The slightly sour apple coated with burnt caramel as well as the orange skin dipped with honey created a perfect balance with the foie gras. This is for sure one of the most recommended dishes for the night!鵝肝很香嫩多汁卻又不會有油膩感~ 伴碟的焦糖蘋果片和橙皮蜜糖絕對應記一功! 烤焦了的焦糖包裹著微酸的蘋果片、帶甘的香橙皮和甜甜的蜜糖與略帶咸味的鵝肝形成絕佳的平衡感, 為這道菜提供了一種很新鮮有趣的味道! 這絕對是最值得推介的菜式之一~Salad: Crab meat avocado / Tuna 沙律: 蟹肉牛油果 / 吞拿魚Knowing that I'm sharing the dishes with my sister, the waitress smartly placed the dishes in an angle, creating an interesting and artistic presentation of the two dishes, good job! Crab meat was rich and tasty while the creamy avocado provided an interesting texture for the salad. As for tuna, it was tender without any tendon, very fresh! 由於是二人共享各道菜式, 服務員刻意把兩道沙律斜放於桌上, 呈現出有趣的擺放效果, 值得一讚! 蟹肉的味道非常濃郁, 配上入口即溶的牛油果, 製造出有趣又特別的口感! 至於吞拿魚則是非常柔軟新鮮, 並且一點筋也沒有, 很出色! Entrée: Black truffle risotto / White wine with clam 前菜: 黑松露意大利飯 / 白酒煮蜆Black truffle's taste was strong. The risotto was quite creamy yet it was not too heavy! As for the clams, they were big! Most of them were as big as the risotto spoon! The sauce was a bit too rich and without any white wine taste. A personal recommendation is to include a slice or two of bread to go with the dish. People can then enjoy the sauce as well 意大利飯有香濃的黑松露味道, 而且雖然有濃郁的奶油味, 卻並不會覺得很膩。至於蜆, 每一隻蜆的尺寸也很大, 差不多有飯匙的大小! 唯一的缺點是那汁略咸, 也沒有白酒的味道。如果方圓能提供一兩片麵包伴碟, 那客人們就能以麵包沾白酒汁來享用這道菜~ Soup: Mushroom cream soup 湯: 野菌忌廉湯Rich and creamy mushroom soup, bread were hot and crispy! I was told that the bread were heated when they were about to serve the soup to ensure freshness of the bread, what a committment towards fresh and good food! Balsamic vinegar was definitely the highlight! SR Gallerry Cafe got a secret recipe for their homemade vinegar. It's much thicker and sweeter than the one we usually have. I love it so much that I'll ask for their vinegar to go with the bread everytime I have lunch here!野菌非常濃郁及奶油~ 因為方圓很著重麵包的新鮮度, 所以每次都是要呈上湯時才即時弄熱麵包, 因此麵面不單熱, 表面也還是脆的! 不過要說最精彩的卻是方圓秘製的陳年葡萄醋! 它比一般市面上的陳醋要濃稠些, 甜度也更高一點。我每次到方圓用餐也會要求這醋的! 絕對要試! Main course: Lamb rack / Lobster bavette 主菜: 香草烤羊架 / 龍蝦扁麵The lamb rack was medium raw, again, very juicy. It was already very delicious even without any meat or mint sauce. The lamb didn't have any "mutton" smell as many of the similar dishes do. Also, the mint sauce was homemade! Personally, I will prefer a stronger mint flavour than the existing one, but still a very nice sauce. The portion was huge too! Talking about the portion, the lobster bavette was surprisingly big! I was really shocked by the portion of the dish! One whole piece of meaty lobster was used! A perfect dish for men! The bavette was cooked with lobster and tomato sauce, yammy!烤羊架是半熟的, 非常幼嫩~ 即使不沾隨碟附上的肉汁或薄荷汁也都已經非常美味! 這羊架沒半點腥味, 非常好吃! 薄荷汁也是自家製的。個人希望它能再薄荷一點, 不過現在的也不錯~ 羊架份量也足~ 提到份量, 龍蝦扁麵的份量真的非常多~ 看到它被端上來的真的嚇了一跳! 原隻波士頓龍蝦??? 而且非常肥美! 方圓真的不吝嗇食材呢~ 對男士來說絕對是能飽肚的量! 扁麵是用龍蝦汁和蕃茄汁煮成的, 好好吃! Dessert: Panna Cotta / Chocolate Lava Cake 甜品: 奶凍 / 心太軟The panna cotta was rich and not too sweet, good! And if you are chocolate lovers, you must try this Lava Cake! The melted chocolate was not too sweet yet thick and rich! The cake itself got a strong chocolate flavour too and again, not very sweet. I was filled with satisfaction when eating the melted chocolate with the vanilla ice-cream! Of course, the whole dinner was completed with a cup of good coffee!!奶凍有非常香濃的奶味, 卻不會太甜, 非常好! 若閣下是巧克力的愛好者, 就絕不能錯過這道心太軟! 巧克力醬很濃稠又濃郁同時甜度也適中~ 蛋糕本身也有香濃巧克力味亦不太甜。當我把雲尼拿雪糕和巧克力醬混合在一起吃的時候, 全身也都充滿幸福感呢~ 當然, 這一頓十分出色的晚餐要以一杯香濃的咖啡作為結束~When one look at the price, they may think that spending around $600 per head is quite expensive. I used to think the same too. However, when considering the portion and the quality of food, plus the atmosphere the venue provides and the glass of nice wine included (by booking via openrice), the meal worth the money spent. If you want to spend a quality night with someone your treasure, this is certainly a nice option for consideration!也許看到晚餐需要約$600一位的時候, 你會猶豫這到底值不值。我本來也有這疑問, 但如果考慮到餐廳環境、食物的份量以及質素, 再加上(經開飯訂檯而送的)餐酒, 這個價值是物有所值的~ 如果有天你想跟重要的人吃一頓高質素的飯, 方圓會是一個不錯的選擇啊~ continue reading
