Springfields is a small cafe located at the basement in Lyndhrust Terrace.  The entrance is not too obvious and it's easy to walk straight past it.  We walked down the stairs and found this quiet, homely place, with white brick walls and simple decor, there was both indoor and outdoor seating areas, making it to a good hideaway from the hustle and bustle of Central.  It offers both savoury galettes and sweet crepes which used organic gluten free buckwheat flour.  They also made in-house cupcakes and custom cakes.Sassy Salmon Galette (HK$106)The galette comes packed with Emmental Cheese, egg, smoked salmon, red onions and capers.  The galette itself used organic gluten free buckwheat flour imported from France,  with great combinations of fillings right there.  It was a hearty and wholesome savoury galette!Straws Crepe (HK$72)The straw crepe was topped with a scoop of Strawberry ice cream, whipped cream, red fruit glaze and fresh strawberries.  The rich milky taste of the whipped cream counteracted with the sweetness from the strawberry ice cream.  If you are a strawberry lover, you would completely appreciate this enticing sweet crepe!Choco Bay Crepe (HK$75)The Choco Bay Crepe topped with Chocolate ice cream, chocolate sauce, charred marshmallows, almond and icing sugar. The crusted almond gave it some texture and add that extra crunch.  Along with the sweet marshmallows and chocolate ice cream, it was a playful medley of flavours, reminiscing the classic "Rocky Road"!Iced Peach & Lemon Tea (HK$40)A deliciously iced peach and lemon tea, with some sweet diced peach inside.Freshly Squeezed lemonade (HK$35)A welcoming beverage which was super appetising and refreshing, perfect for the hot summer weather.*No service charge - all tips given to the staffInterior-Indoor SeatingOutdoor seatingMenu continue reading

星期日去行街街,出左中環就搵下有咩好食~之前食過另一間crepe 好好味,今次就去試下新野先~搵到呢間餐廳都係食crepe,好似都幾好咁喎~試下先 XD餐廳細細,好彩唔係好多人,本來都坐得幾舒服既,只可以話枱同枱之間無乜距離,細細聲傾密計係OK既,但可惜,好快隔離枱就坐左兩位傾得興高采烈既女士,於是。。。算啦,唔想聽既就當聽唔到~食物呢,有少少小食同pasta,當然唔少得主打既crepe,咸甜都有,各有6至8款飲品有幾款咖啡揀,連酒都有喎點左杯salted caramel pretzel,幾香幾好飲,不過就肥左D囉杯cappuccino就普普通通,無乜特別咸crepe點左from the oceans,個餡有少少海鮮,有露筍有芝士,餡唔算少,啖啖都有既,都幾好味 甜既當然點Si最愛既crepe Suzie啦~但佢既橙味唔夠香,而且食落有少少苦苦地,麻麻地啦~食完都係覺得同區另一間crepe好食D... continue reading

平時都比較少出入港島,但閨蜜話想我陪佢試SpringFields,睇完openrice的相,我都心郁郁,想試下呢到有名的Crepe😍Chicken wings $70雞翼一碟5隻,上桌時仲熱辣辣的,外皮脆卜卜,肉質稍微有點乾,但幾抵食。Seafood Linguini $130(Sautéed prawns, creamy white wine-garlic sauce, Tomato sauce, lemon, parsley )海鮮意粉,蕃茄醬汁帶點酒味,配料很豐富,很多魷魚😍正!Sassy salmon $106(Emmental cheese, egg, smoked salon, red onions, capers, dill)鹹crepe我們選了三文魚的,整體口感軟軟的,蛋香四溢,不錯!Banana Flambee $72(Cooked bananas, vanilla ice-cream, raisins, caramel sauce, flambee )有「放火表演」睇,但很快就熄滅左。個人更喜歡甜crepe ,香蕉、朱古力的配搭一絕👍🏻MilkshakeNutella Milkshake Salted caramel pretzel 飲品兩杯都正,真心好味,味道濃郁得來又不會太甜! continue reading

某天同太座經過上址, 有個南亞裔少女在派宣傳單張, 同時亦用簡單英語幫公司宣傳一下,門口做得幾有春天氣息, 主要是顏色運用吧, 那天留下印象後, 兩星期後真的來試一次了, 餐牌所見主要做的是All day breakfast & French Crepes 還應該有些Pasta類嘅食物,而另外亦明顯見有Cup Cakes by order 或者在tea set內都可以柯打,店舖是在地庫所以位置上有點蝕, 店內面積也算充裕, 而我來的那天是假期客人少都是正常的,平日午飯時間就唔知係咪full house了? 坐位空間也見闊落, 還有一個後欄位置供客人坐出去或者自家員工休息之用, 開放式廚房一目了然有柯打即做, 食物質素係做得唔錯, 全部跟到照片亦熱烘烘的拿過來, 但可能係限於成本,廚師能夠做到的只能擺豐富一點, 實在All day breakfast (Early Springs $88 - Scrambled Eggs/ Cumberland Sasuage/ Baked Beans/ Sauteed Mushrooms / Salmon/ Toast)做八十幾係有點難, 尤其是中環區, 以呢個價位要用上煙三文魚?除咗一片重可以點? 唯有個炒蛋大堆d, 香腸仔一條開半我都第一次見! 重要俾堆炒蘑菇同一片麥包, 有點難為了家嫂嘅感覺! 而麥包質地都用上了幾好的包, 炒蛋同蘑菇亦炒得相當不俗,廚師有點手藝, Crepe de Paris $78 (Eggs/ Emmental cheese/ Bacon/ Ham)亦做到似模似樣, 蒿麥粉做的蛋皮顏色係沉沉地正常嘅啡色, 餡料亦熱熱地帶一點香氣, 同區的上環有另一間做這種Crepe嘅專門店未幫襯過無法比較, 但以這單一作品而言, 算係咁啦! 當日可能服務方面:中規中矩 continue reading

如果你是大忙人或者燥底的朋友:JUST SKIP IT!與同事食呢間處於地牢的餐廳Springfields,以白色為主調,坐得還算舒服。知道店以可麗餅為主打,自然各自揀了一款。然後滿心歡喜加了 Crispy hot wings $35有5隻睇落鬆脆的雞翼,然而一咬下去,居然完全無味,Totally tasteless! 人生未食過味如白紙的雞翼, 居然完全冇醃過冇調味,令同事不禁要搏命加黑椒。Savory Galettes - Beefed up ($118)餡有Emmental cheese, minced beef, caramelized onions, tomatoes味道是不算很差的,牛肉比較鬆散,可麗餅有燶味又乾,掩蓋了其他味道飽肚更是遠遠談不上。重點是,3個人的餐都要等45分鐘。在繁忙的中環要等咁耐是不能接受。效率太低,我心諗:我自己整一塊都快過佢!好過份!等咁耐仲要唔係好食!唯一ok的是這杯Hazelnut coffee.總結同事和我食完一次之後,都覺得這店只此一次。不推介! continue reading
