越式串燒法包, 濃湯蟹檬, 海南雞飯, 鮮庶斗

友人約食飯,吃的是很久沒吃的越南菜,地點就在這間位於銅鑼灣,環境簇新明亮,感覺舒服,蠻有越南風味的越南餐館。吃了多款菜式,最特別的要算是地道的「越式豪華火鍋」。港式火鍋吃得多,從來沒有去過越南的我,越式火鍋可是初次品嚐。這越式火鍋有鮮茄蟹湯底和椰子雞湯底可揀,這晚我們吃的是鮮茄蟹湯底,湯味清酸開胃。越式火鍋與港式火鍋有別之處,在於所有材料早已被放在鍋邊,團團圍住中間的湯。這「越式豪華火鍋」的材料有牛肉、蜆、魷魚、豬紅、濱海、蔬菜等物,材料相當豐富,一邊吃火鍋,一邊閒話家常,確是賞心樂事。也吃了多款小食,「蒜香牛油雞翼」與「牛油椒鹽軟殼蟹」以香取勝,甫上桌,牛油香味已撲鼻而來。皮脆肉軟的雞翼與軟殼蟹,各有各的吸引力。「青木瓜鮮蝦沙律」是清新之選,「咖喱雜菜煲配法包」就香濃開胃。「串燒拼盤」把豬、牛、雞肉串燒一網打盡,我與友人各取所需,我只吃了牛和雞,就覺得雞肉串燒較為好吃。甜品選擇不多,但都頗有特色,我點了「菠蘿香茅乳酪」。菠蘿清新好吃,乳酪稠滑可口,不過兩者原來是獨立的個體,並非合而為一的整體,就讓我有一丁點兒的失望。吃了那麼多東西,一樽「青檸梳打」就最能消膩解滯。疫情下,幾位朋友都已多月沒見,久別重逢,份外喜悅呢! continue reading

除咗日本菜,我其次最愛就係越南菜!特別係越式火鍋及湯河,我次次去越南都必食!🤤​最近我發銅鑼灣開咗間好傳統嘅越南火鍋店——「Số Tám」!我哋香港平時食嘅火鍋,都係一碟碟餸咁上,但越南嘅火鍋就唔同,佢哋會用一個圓盤,裝晒食物係鍋邊,方便人碌食物,或放置碌好嘅食物之用!而Số Tám食到嘅就係圓鐵盤火鍋!​▲估唔到香港都有越南圓盤火鍋食!好有Feel!除咗圓鐵盤嘅食用形式,Số Tám嘅湯底都遵照越南做法,好似招牌蟹肉湯,以全隻鮮蟹加入番茄、蝦米及調味料,要熬足五小時先完成,夠晒香濃惹味。🤤​另外,我仲叫咗海南雞飯、燒豬肉法包、串燒等等,幾個人除返,人均都唔洗兩舊,好抵呀!​▲蟹肉湯好香濃,令配料加混鮮味!▲就咁係圓盤上夾配料,碌完就食得!✦ 越色豪華火鍋 HK$228​一大鍋直上,配料勁多!有菜、蜆、魷魚、牛肉,同埋濱海(類似網狀米粉)!值得一讚係個蟹湯底,濃厚嘅蕃茄,中間帶有鮮甜嘅蟹味,好惹味!​✦ 香茅燒豬頸肉豬頸肉燒得香脆,質感爽口,幾好。​✦ 燒豬肉法包(連湯)​呢個真係好抵食,因為個法包超級大!店家會奉上越南直送嘅Maggi,比我點住嚟食,鹹鹹香香,味道唔錯!😂​✦ 春卷雞肉串燒撈檬呢度嘅串燒真係好正!雞肉外脆內多汁!店員話佢哋係用800度嘅高溫烤爐燒製,所以可以緊緊鎖住肉汁!春卷就好酥脆,入面有粉絲,唔錯。撈檬就正常發揮,無咩特別。​✦ 椰青煮蜆用椰汁煮蜆都係第一次食,成個湯好鮮甜,蜆肉柔軟,整體幾清新。​✦ 越式札肉米紙卷 正常發揮,偏多菜,我鍾意。​▲海南雞好滑,高質!▲正宗越式海南雞,薑黃飯係用碎米做!✦ 無骨海南雞飯越戰過後,經濟低迷,當時越南有出口白米,靚嘅米會出口,越南人則會食餘下嘅米碎,所以傳統嘅越式海南雞飯,飯底係用薑黃碎米做!估唔到呢度食嘅海南雞,竟然咁傳統!令我有啲驚喜!😯​不過我個人還是鍾意粒粒飯嘅口感!😝​至於雞,都做得幾滑,雞件都多,絕對食得過!​✦ 越南滴咖啡咖啡豆應該經過深度烘焙,帶有焦香味,偏濃,對我嚟講濃咗少少。​▲餐廳好多打卡位!▲Số Tám​黃綠裝潢,好有東南亞氣息。 continue reading

今日約了靚太食lunch, 我地都想食越南嘢,同事介紹了So Tam, 新餐廳一試無妨。餐廳面積頗大,開揚舒適,坐位闊落,乾淨又整齊。Lunch Set共有十二款選擇,價錢由$68至$98不等,加$20還可升級豪華套餐(配特式飲品,精美小食,開胃沙律和甜點),咁抵緊係要upgrade啦。鮮茄濃湯蟹檬$88(+$20升級為豪華套餐)沙律: 青木瓜沙律酸酸甜甜的,非常開胃。小食: 越南蒸粉包~粉皮薄嫩,餡料豐富,清爽而不腻。湯檬配料非常豐富,有豆卜,蟹肉,豬肉豆腐,豬紅,鮮茄,洋葱等。蕃茄湯底味道非常濃郁,酸甜度適中,檬粉索滿湯汁也很美味,我很喜歡。飲品:龍眼熱飲~充滿龍眼的清甜味,好舒服。甜品:椰汁膏~椰汁味香濃,口感軟糯嫩滑,正!無骨海南雞飯$98(+$20升級為豪華套餐) ~已去骨的海南雞肉質鲜嫩濕潤,份量也不少,有雞脾和雞翼,配薑黃碎米飯和雞湯非常美味。飲品: 越南滴漏咖啡~口感順滑,咖啡味道香濃,不錯。 continue reading

I noticed Yum Cha closed down and in it's place was two  new restaurants. Both appear to be run by the same people for when we arrived they asked if you wanted Vietnames or Chinese. We decided to try out Vietnamese.It was a really nicely designed restaurant with pretty murals on the wall.They had bar seats for single diners with USB charging systems.Menu is in English and Chinese. When we were there, they had lunch and afternoon tea sets available.They also have a small a la carte menu as well.As we were there during afternoon tea time, we ordered from there. It includes a soft drink or an upgrade of $10 for Vietnamese coffee. Which is what I did. The coffee was not strong at all. It was ok.Boyfriend ordered the Vietnamese Pork Chop Rice with Vietnamese Curry ($58). This was quite a spread. It came with (in boyfriend's opinion) not enough rice for the amount of curry available. The curry was decent and very spicy. The pork chop was too caramelized. I thought it just tasted like sugar. Boyfriend thought it was fine. There was a small salad that was bland. There was also a tri color coconut dessert that didn't have a lot of coconut taste at all.I noticed they served banh mi. Always up to finding a good banh mi, I chose the banh mi with soup ($58). This took a long time to arrive. The soup was ok. A basic carrot and cabbage soup. The banh mi was not that great. If you could call it that as it wasn't. There was Vietnamese sausage and a lot of pork floss. Oddly, there wasn't any cilantro or herbs added but just lettuce. There were some crunchy radishes that weren't pickled. This bread itself wasn't even the correct bread. Just a crunchy dense French baguette. What was more strange is someone came out and apologized for the staff not offering me Maggi and I'm to add it to the banh mi. HUH??? Is this a clue to add MSG laced soy sauce to add flavor this??The staff was also clueless. A lot of people milling around, walking by and glancing at us eating but not once did they refill our water. Even when one took away our finished dishes the minute I cleared my plate, they still didn't notice our glasses were empty. And then when we asked to refill our water, there was confusion as several of them held a jar of water, as if deciding which to offer us. Food was average and definitley not Vietnamese. Just Hong Kong styled Vietnamese. Won't be back. continue reading

今次應該第3次去食。每次都是食午餐時段。因為有午餐好抵食。套餐只需要加20元。就有小食,甜品及包一杯汽水。當然想飲滴漏咖啡,都只需要加多10元。服務員態度好熱情。執枱清潔好快手。環境雖然細了,但喜歡光猛,播點輕鬆音樂都唔錯。今次臨走前,問職員晚上餐牌是否又不同?原來晚上有另一個餐牌,有不同食物。而且2點半後開始,還有下午茶。食到5點半。下午茶食的食物亦有不同。我覺得餐廳較適合2人至4人。太多人的話 有點迫。 continue reading
