Diners should note there are some discounts with OpenRice reservations but with restrictions - we got a 10% off which amounted to discounting the service charge. The place was a bit crowded and noisy but had a nice vibe - the service, though, was a bit strained due to the lack of manpower. The calamari frittes were hot and crispy but didn't really taste of squid. The deep fried chicken cartilage pieces were crunchy and slightly spicy. The lotus chips were quite interesting and unique - but the flavour overshadowed the seaweed sesame seasoning. I ordered a classic Bellini which was peachy and juicy and for this price, naturally one didn't expect a high portion of prosecco. The scallop dish was the right size as an appetizer but the potion was indeed rather meager for this price - the scallops were less succulent than expected though the mushrooms in cream sauce were quite fresh. We ordered the miso salmon with eggplant despite some misgivings, turned out it was rather tasty - the eggplant was not thoroughly stewed, yet the lightly seared salmon was quite fresh with quasi-sashimi consistency. The entrees had more generous portions. The truffle risotto was fairly delicious though the risotto was not from my personal favourite recipe. The pork shank was humongous and quite tender with some rinds of fat that added to the succulence, the side dish of mushrooms was a neat match. The dinner ended on a jarring note as it was difficult to find staff for settling the bill and they needed repeated reminders. Still worth a try if this block of buildings or this genre of eatery is new to the reader, I guess. continue reading

美景,彷彿從不屬於旺角這個繁喧鬧市,聽說Sky726這間位於旺角的西餐廳景觀能媲美銅鑼灣以至中環,由於地理位置關係,食物價錢亦比較相宜,難免使人心動一試。晚上六時許到達餐廳仍未入夜,但景觀的確合乎期望地開揚。Sky High ($98)招牌雞尾酒以St. Germain Kwai Fee Lychee Liqueur、鮮檸檬汁、蘋果汁、藍橙酒及自家製雲尼拿泡沫調配而成,賣相尤其夢幻。Frozen Berry Punch ($70)這杯無酒精雞尾酒則是以自家製紅桑子果泥、藍莓、士多啤梨、鮮菠蘿汁、橙汁及少許檸檬汁調配而成,味道酸甜開胃。煙三文魚沙律 ($138)煙三文魚拼湊成玫瑰花狀,食材簡單但賣相精緻,煙三文魚油潤鹹香而且沒有雪藏味。香煎煙燻慢煮北海道帶子 ($178)帶子煎得恰到好處,外層微脆而中心保持鮮嫩,更帶淡淡煙燻香。水牛雞搥 ($98)水牛醬汁甜中帶辣,有點像韓式炸雞的甜辣醬,濃稠惹味,雞肉肉質亦不粗糙。慢煮黑毛豬鞍扒配意大利黑醋汁及牛肝菌醬 ($298)黑毛豬鞍扒煮得軟腍鬆化,絕非一般以鬆肉粉醃製而成的軟性,反而保留肉的結實質感,入口肥而不膩。日本蜆蒜片辣椒乾天使麵 ($178)蒜香味濃,天使麵不像坊間大多餐廳一樣煮至軟爛糊口,反而軟硬適中,美中不足的是過分油膩。雲尼拿朱古力慕絲伴焦糖榛子 ($78)上層雲尼拿慕絲味道較下層朱古力慕絲淡,朱古力慕絲的濃郁醇香作為整個甜品的主導者,口感軟滑綿密,亦不過份甜膩,甚得我倆歡心。雖然未能有幸被安排窗口位,但景觀之美確是令人陶醉不已,俯瞰黑夜中排排大廈上發出那閃閃爍爍的「繁星」。 continue reading

妹妹婚後跟丈夫移民到加拿大生活,還誕下一對仔女,過著少奶奶生活,所以每過一段時間就會安排爸媽飛過加拿大住幾個月,後日爸媽就會飛過加拿大弄孫為樂,所以今晚特意帶他們吃些特別的菜式,我相信他們從來未試過吃法國菜,離別在即,透過舌尖留下一點回憶的味道吧!住於旺角鬧巿中的Sky726,店舖面積需然不算很大,但窗外靚色不錯,在高處虎瞰著旺角夜巿,餐廳中間有一個酒吧,氣氛很浪漫,很適合情侶來吃燭光晚餐﹗生蠔拼盤有兩款來自法國的生蠔,超新鮮而且海水味濃,2款都又滑又爽口,配合秘製的Tomato  Vinaigrette 醬一起吃感覺清新及特別,必食推介﹗希臘沙津裡的沙律菜很新鮮,配上芝士粒及蕃茄乾味道較濃,餐飽香脆有咬口,是我喜歡的法式餐包﹗我們四個人,剛好可以試齊四款餐湯:濃郁奶油蠔湯伴魚子醬 $90(左上)是日餐湯:甘筍湯 $68(右上)野菌黑松露忌廉湯 $85(左下)燒蕃茄大茴香雞絲濃湯 $78(右下)濃郁奶油蠔湯伴魚子醬蠔味超濃,湯的質地不稀也不杰,打得非常細滑﹗甘荀湯同樣細滑,但味道偏甜⋯野菌黑松露忌廉湯菌味濃,滲出陣陣黑松露的香味,喜歡野菌湯的朋友是一個不錯的選擇﹗燒蕃茄大茴香雞絲濃湯絕對不是蕃膏味,新鮮蕃茄略帶酸味,還有大條條粗身雞絲,飲湯之餘還有雞肉吃﹗飲品方面我們點了以下四款:726  Sangria $88(左上)Very  Berry $70(右上)Far  East  Highball $70(左下)Ice  Chocolate  $50(右下)爸爸點的726  Sangria是含酒精的Cocktail,以白酒為主,另加菠蘿汁、雪碧及其他雜果汁製成,酒味都頗為重⋯媽媽點的Very Berry以多重雜梅為主,包括藍梅、紅梅、士多啤梨等製成的Mocktail,味道比較清及微甜⋯我點的Far East Highball相信是Mocktail中最開胃的飲品,因為以檸檬加西柚而成,酸甜之中帶有西柚的甘味⋯而Nosir簡單地選了杯Ice Chocolate,朱古力味足夠,口感很滑⋯我們點了2款小食:日式照燒雞搥 $98(左)脆炸魷魚圈配他他醬及雞尾汁 $109(右)日式照燒雞搥入味,照燒汁味濃郁,肉質有咬口,而脆炸魷魚圈即時炸起非常香口,由於魷魚圈經過醃製,口感較腍而不會難咬,配合他他醬及雞尾汁感覺截然不同,個人較喜歡他他醬,更加醒胃⋯香煎安格斯肉眼扒有10安士,份量足夠填飽男士肚子,味道不錯,唯獨欠缺肉汁,可能因為我們點7成熟,建議五成熟保留更多肉汁,更突顯肉味⋯慢煮黑毛豬鞍扒配意大利黑醋汁及牛肝菌醬,牛肝菌味濃郁,也有豐富菇菌作配菜,黑毛豬鞍扒以慢煮方式烹調令肉汁充份保留,肉質更為細嫩,跟黑醋汁非常之夾⋯日式麵豉三文魚配魚高湯茄子算是非常出色的一道Fusion菜式,三文魚選用了刺身級數製作,表面全熟,但內裡有慢煮效果,看似是全生的,但口感非常細緻滑,味道亦是全熟的,一點都沒有生的感覺,配以日或麵豉及魚高湯去煮茄子,感覺清新而沒有任何負擔﹗橄欖脆燒慢煮有機雞胸釀蟲草花是一個幾特別的組合,平常吃蓋氣火鍋多以蟲草花配以雞件或鮑魚,但西式造法配合較中式的材料造出來的雞胸份外嫩滑及腍身,以慢煮方法製作的雞胸爽口,加上選用粗身的蟲草花有種彈牙的感覺,雞胸面層亦花了心思,釀了一層脆卜卜的橄欖脆燒層,令雞胸肉口感層次豐富及變得不平凡﹗完成豐富的前菜及主菜及,當然要有甜品作為結尾才算完美,這裡的甜品同樣出色,特別這款雲呢拿朱古力慕絲伴焦糖榛子,比美心、東海堂的凍餅大件得多,四個人分也非常滿足,香濃的朱古力及榛子味道大家吃下第一口都不約而同說:很好味啊﹗甜度亦十分適足,沒有Cream絕對不會覺得膩﹗還有另一款72%朱古力心太軟,說明72%朱古力,所以不會太甜,朱古力味道重,加上雲尼拿雪糕一冷一熱,口感層次又昇華了﹗這一餐對我們來說大大的滿足感,值得一讚的是當晚我們到達後,只有Bar枱有位,由於媽媽關節勞損已久,上落樓梯一直不便及會疼痛,好果難才上到Bar枱的高椅子,店員見到媽媽上落椅子很困難,亦小心協助及扶實椅子,一見到梳化位客人離座就立即主動安排我們座回正常的位置,而不用媽媽坐在Bar枱辛苦,非常窩心,各店員也很有禮貌及主動介紹菜式,有這麼細心的員工相信老闆也是一個很Nice的人,過往曾光顧不少餐廳因為媽媽關節不靈活而顯得不耐煩 ,有時媽媽都會感到尷尬,但離開Sky726後媽媽也讚賞這裡服務很好,讓我們這開開心心的完成這餐餞別宴,要半年後才再見到爸爸媽媽了﹗ continue reading

七月才生日,但今天已經有生日飯吃好友快要回外國,所以提早為我慶生。在這裡找到家在25樓有景看又decent的餐廳,就訂枱來啦~它有一面是落地玻璃,可從高處望旺角,遠眺可見維港Set dinner不是很符合心水,所以散叫可全點自己想要的,應該加完都差不多價錢。先叫飲品有八折。餐包熱烘烘,配牛油好吃啊! 點了唯一的生啤,看顏色都知易入口,沒想到果味濃香,好喝呢。White Sangria好強烈啊!有Brandy, triple sec和white wine,酒精濃度頗高,加了鮮果和果汁有酸甜味比較好喝和入口,但都是要慢飲免醉。這小食有推介的標記所以點了~擺盤好精緻,鵝肝用焦糖舖面煎,外皮口感更脆。味道有豐腴的鵝油香,加上帶甜的焦糖,還有底部的岩鹽和,脆薏米,味道香濃,層次豐富,對我來說是新穎的食法呢另外想吃點刺身就點了三文魚tartar,又是擺到很美的。三文魚新鮮,混著爽口洋蔥和魚籽,非常香口。青瓜薄片帶來清新感,不過最特別的地方非黑蒜辣根泡沫莫屬,是分子料理的做法吧。泡沫的味道有點嗆,但又出奇的夾,這裡的廚師好有創意野菌黑松露忌廉湯非常杰身,就像醬汁一樣,每口都咬到菇碎,濃郁的菇香,是一個野菌的盛薈。這奶油濃湯簡直不得了,我原想會有原隻蠔在內,原來是全打成蓉。它又是非常杰身,一入口味道鮮甜到不得了,整口蠔的精華,毫無腥味,又十分creamy,加上鹹香魚子醬點綴,正啊六點多到達太陽還很耀眼,之邊邊品嚐美食邊看著天空漸漸變黑,好美,又寫意上第一道主菜時天已黑了~ 這天使麵麵質爽口彈牙,微硬的好有咬口。日本蜆每隻都鮮甜肥美,啖啖肉非常新鮮味美這麵沒有用醬汁,但味道還是十足,因為用了蒜片,辣椒乾和蕃茄洋蔥等食材煮,微微的辣度更惹味最後是我們最期待的慢煮黑毛豬鞍扒~ 有兩片慢煮豬鞍,底部有芳香的牛肝菌醬和野菌,還有黑醋汁和帶酸味的小果實伴碟。首先試了菇,煮得所有香味都出來了,牛肝菌醬的味道極濃郁,如果剛才的湯是野菌盛薈,這個就是野菌天堂,並沒有誇張。慢煮的豬鞍肉質非常嫩滑,每口都好柔軟易咬,帶點點脂肪好爽口。豬扒是很難弄得一點粗糙的感覺都沒有,可以這裡做到,怎至更嫩啊!點醬汁及黑醋汁一起吃,味道更上一層樓。大滿足店員定時會來看看進度,會等我們吃完,收碟才上下一道,一道菜一道菜的接著吃,就像吃法國大餐的樣子,好細心。這家有情調,食物質素又高的餐廳在價錢反映出來幸好Openrice有九折,飲品happy hour又有八折,幫我們省了不少啊~ 晚餐都要四百多元一個,我們這樣散叫都不是貴很多呢。 continue reading

今次嚟到Sky726搵食! 一直以爲旺角只是得一些頹頹餐廳~原來彌敦道726號有一棟新式大廈~內有大量餐廳!Sky726位於大廈頂層的25樓~店內裝修簡潔~店中間是調酒區~窗外是旺角的矮房子和繁忙的街道~除了大menu~也有set menu~田園沙律($128)這個沙律調味的醬汁不多~味道最濃的是松子~另外有火箭菜、蘑菇、風乾蕃茄等~而醬汁則是黑醋~但份量不多~不過因松子很多~吃下去很香口~又脆卜卜~是全新感覺的沙律!Frozen  Berry  Punch ($70)一向喜歡莓類~這杯Frozen Berry Punch有Homemade Raspberry Purée、Blueberry、Strawberry 、fresh Pineapple juice & Orange juice、with a dash of Lemon非常色彩鮮豔~看到已經想一口氣喝光!因為是沙冰狀~非常透心涼~而且都是真材實料~即使溶掉也不會太淡~味道酸中帶甜~開了胃口去迎接其他菜式!焦糖低溫浸鵝肝($158)份量較少~但超級無敵好味道!因為鵝肝被焦糖包裹~表面是脆脆的焦糖!再加上廚師淋了一些草莓汁~整片鵝肝酸甜得來又不會掩蓋鵝肝的鮮味~而且完全沒油膩感!全力推介的小食!三文魚韃靼伴黑蒜辣根泡沫($168)韃靼就是把食材弄碎成一粒粒的狀態~這個是三文魚跟青瓜的組合~非常清爽~而且上面有三文魚子~更為豪華!而旁邊的泡沫由黑蒜跟辣根做成~辣根具有刺激鼻竇的香辣味道~跟wasabi相似~沾麵包粒食~perfect match!橄欖脆燒慢煮有機雞胸釀蟲草花($178)食雞胸肉最怕佢又乾又鞋~呢道菜色餐廳用慢煮的方法鎖住雞胸肉汁~保持肉質嫩滑~雞肉入面饟了蟲草花~味道濃郁口感爽滑而雞肉上面放了用芝士做的脆片~非常可口!香煎海鱸魚配牛油苦白菜($238)鱸魚的肉質嫩滑~魚味都好鮮濃~加上煎到香脆的魚皮~入口層次分明最重要係魚皮無鱗片!曾經試過其他餐廳的鱸魚~自以為煎到魚鱗都脆口~結果強差人意⋯牛油果醬、蘆筍和苦白菜都係清新口味作為伴碟唔會搶走主菜的鮮味~諗得周到!雲呢拿朱古力慕絲伴焦糖榛子($78)食甜品賣相要靚係基本野~呢個mousse cake都合格~黑白分明的雲呢拿同朱古力味道好濃好夾~其次係佢甜而不膩~成個食晒都冇問題!而我最欣賞的係面上好似四分音符的焦糖果仁~好食又有創意~值得欣賞喧鬧的旺角竟然有一間環境寧靜~食物可口的高層餐廳~可算是隱世高地呢!❤️而且仲有openrice 9折coupon~正! continue reading
