兩小時的等候時間雖然誇張, 餐廳也沒有華麗裝潢, 幸好食味質素也很好, 尤其煲仔飯和燉湯都十分出色! 👍🏻 人客太多, 侍應不能如高級餐廳招呼周到, 但也不忘教大家煲仔飯的進食方法 😉 除了煲仔飯及小菜外, 餐廳還有點心供應, 似乎點心質素也不錯, 晚上九時後還有人點外賣點心! 上次已說, 大廚曾在陸羽茶室工作過, 確實青出於藍, 雖然豬肺湯陸羽還是略勝一籌, 但其他小菜我認為嚐囍更優質, 而且性價比高! 😁

呢度都有一段時候冇過到嚟今日經過附近過嚟返兜到達嘅門口嘅時候都已經差不多晚上10:30竟然人山人海非常旺場要排隊等位都係一件好事幸好不是等了太耐叫咗個四両魚翅味道依然保持到配芫荽同埋醋簡直係一流順便叫咗啲點心不過唔知係咪因為太多單點心等咗一陣間整體樣樣都保持到將來會再嚟

米芝連推介煲仔飯<西環嚐囍煲仔小菜>果然名不虛傳,店內除左最有名嘅火山石爐煲仔飯,仲有好多小菜及點心選擇。主要菜式當然係佢嘅馳名煲仔飯,佢哋嘅煲仔飯由傳統口味嘅鴛鴦腸飯,白鱔飯到老闆嘅創新口味都有,價格合理,適合一人一煲。由於自成一家嘅火山石爐,做到熱力平均分怖,做到一層又厚又唔燶底嘅飯焦,可知道食煲仔飯就係食飯焦!而最意想不到的是又脆又香嘅飯焦,飯粒仍然分明濕軟,絕不乾身我哋兩個人另外叫左啫啫雞煲同埋炒通菜,啫啫雞煲仲有豬潤做配料,火喉十足,食物品質高,自然想一食再食,但由於每張枱嘅用膳時間係90分鐘,想再叫佢哋嘅點心都唔係好夠時間,唯有下次再嚟啦。而要去「嚐囍」.就必須要早啲黎排隊喇,果日我哋大約6點半右到,大約等咗半個鐘最後我哋叫咗一個排骨白鱔煲仔飯,啫啫雞豬潤煲同炒通菜三個餸。

We have been wanting to try this claypot rice in Kennedy Town for so long and we finally got the chance.

Upon arrival, make sure you go inside to get a number first. We noticed that if you come in 2, the line is much faster.

They are also selling dim sum and other side dishes. We recommend you to order them as the claypot rice takes a while to cook.

The dim sum taste good and portion wise it’s huge. When the har gao arrived, we were so surprised at the size! The shrimps are sweet and the skin is not too thick.

Siu mai is also good! Could really taste the meat and less of the flour. The size is huge like the har gao.

However, we are a bit dissapointed at the skin of the har gao and the siu mai as they are too soft and fragile.

Fried squid is so soft and the texture of the crispiness is like cornstarch coated. It’s salty, peppery and sweet and the same time. They have vinegar sauce as the dipping.

The claypot rice is amazing. So far this is the best one among other claypot rice that we had.

The chicken and eel claypot rice is so good! It’s fragrant and love the crispy rice at the bottom! It’s very crispy like a cracker and not hard. The eel is chewy, smooth, and soft. Chicken is also very smooth and not dry.

The pork ribs with chinese sausage is a must order. The chinese sausage is sweet and makes the entire dish so fragrant. The pork ribs is so tender and flavourful.

久聞堅尼地城「嚐喜」的煲仔飯非常有名,來過幾次都見到門口真的超級多客人等位,無甚耐性的我好幾次都直接轉移到附近餐廳覓食。今年的聖誕有點冷,友人們興致勃勃的堅持想吃煲仔飯,還以為聖誕這些浪漫佳節,大部分人都會選擇吃西餐,想不到門口還是聚滿了等位的食客。取了籌號,差不多要等四十個多個號碼發現叫號的順序方式有點奇怪,有時會一下子跳了十多個號碼,我們留意到應該是因為餐廳的座位不多,所以人數少就比較容易有位。最後,我們足足等了一個半小時才入座 🥲等位太久,所以大家肚子都餓扁了,各自點了一個煲仔飯,再要了一碟蒜蓉炒豆苗、豉汁蒸白鱔。豆苗和白鱔先上桌,豆苗的火喉很好,炒得清新爽脆;白鱔的肉就有點偏淋身,也幸好聽了朋友建議,沒有點白鱔煲仔飯,因為他上次嘗過,認為味道有點腥。煲仔飯大約等了20分鐘才上桌,我們試了「臘味牛肉煲仔飯」、「田雞煲仔飯 + 潤腸」、「臘鴨滑雞煲仔飯」,煲仔飯真的沒甚麼好挑剔,而且它的豉油是整個煲仔飯的靈魂,調味既香又惹味,朋友們一致認為滑雞的味道最好。煲仔飯的份量不算多,小小的一煲,連女生們都輕易吃光。要數第一名的煲仔飯,「嚐喜」並非我心目中的首位(我下次應該也未必會想再等待一

要數第一名的煲仔飯,「嚐喜」並非我心目中的首位(我下次應該也未必會想再等待一個半小時),但以一間街坊食店來說,它的水準真的很不錯,至少比起被譽為煲仔飯最出名的廟街,我會毫不猶豫選「嚐喜」。


溫馨提示:如果唔想等位,朋友建議下午6點前來,另外煲仔飯只供應到晚上11點半

我4:30諗住同父親去食個早嘅晚飯,得幾張枱有人坐. 佢俾咗個好窄嘅門口位連袋都擺唔到. 但係我諗住咁早可唔可以坐得鬆動啲問佢有冇第二張枱個阿姐好快咁就話要搭枱個喎.另外一個阿姐就話”你哋兩個人,咁冇呀,係呢張㗎啦!” 我都知道生意難做,所以如果係晚餐時間我都一定唔會要求,不過今時今日咁嘅服務態度真係可以好多選擇! 幾好食都唔會受氣食!
