「蛇王」呢個行業都已經喺賣少見少,不過,食蛇羹嘅人就大有人在,就如我哋一班死佬年初就首次參加民協搞嘅蛇宴(http://garycwm.blogspot.hk/2017/01/blog-post.html),$215位,全場爆滿。今晚嚟到銅鑼灣嘅「蛇王二」,一樣全場爆滿,講開依間「蛇」店,就真喺經常都咁多人,尤其早年喺唔少國內自由行嘅「景點」,猶幸今晚晌門外就未見有人龍。環境唔多講,嚟過嘅人都知道佢個場有幾逼,比茶記更逼,枱貼枱近乎無路可逃,不過,嚟得嘅人都明白晌度喺食佢啲餸菜質素,唔喺食環境,亦唔喺食服務,但啲服務又唔喺有啲食評講到咁差,點差都差唔過澳牛囉。蛇王二嘅菊花五蛇羹及臘味糯米飯固然馳名,兩者再加多個生菜嘅套餐,都只喺賣$106,喺唔少客嘅入門心水。不過,小弟今晚嚟食飯就另有心水!究竟個心水喺乜?就喺其燉湯套餐,十多款滋補燉湯,各有不同功效,配一碗單拼燒味飯,定價都喺由$68至$116,沒有理由錯過,燒味飯更可轉為其他選擇。川貝海底椰燉瘦肉小弟近期受氣管炎所困,川貝、海底椰就最合適不過。燉湯熱辣辣呈上,並晌上枱後先除去燉盅蓋嘅紗紙,一打開蓋湯色清澈,香氣幽幽,見到不少海底椰及瘦肉,當然細細粒嘅川貝沉晒晌底,不過,最後撈幾撈睇睇,川貝其實唔喺好多,始終川貝喺啲幾貴嘅中藥材。個湯入口幾滋潤,感覺卻好清,好溫和,飲完好暖身。油鴨叉燒飯套餐只包一碗單拼燒味飯,所以,我就寧願俾多$10轉為油鴨雙拼飯,原諗住配燒鴨,實行鴛鴦鴨飯,不過,結果揀配叉燒,因為更可睇出燒烤嘅功夫。飯粒好軟熟而有米香,部份吸收咗少少油鴨嘅脂油,味道更香,而油鴨酥香唔油膩,肉質挺實有咬口,然而,叉燒就一般般,雖然外層有少少焦香,但稍稍嫌佢乾身咗啲,可是,不得不讚餸料俾得十足,睇碗飯油鴨同叉燒鋪滿成個飯碗就知啦。據知蛇王二由上環老店至銅鑼灣店,前前後後過百年,一家百年老店,能生存至今,仲要位處銅鑼灣旺區地鋪,自有其實力。在現今飲食業要求不斷求變嘅大環境下,能濁沽幾味,單單就以蛇羹、燉湯、臘味飯、燒味飯……引嚟食客不斷,唔喺咁多店可以做到。 continue reading

臘味之中,我最愛潤腸,特別是此店,勝過西苑。他們自設工場曬製。通常買外賣,避開自由行人潮,難得今日堂食。擠擁依舊,阿伯們態度依舊,店內擺設依舊。今日很寒冷,除了內地客,沒有人吃蛇羹。港人多是零售服務員或老人家,食燒味飯為多。我獨愛潤腸和燉湯。點了兩個套餐。潤腸飯保持水準,味鮮,皮脆雙絕,有酒味香醇,冠絕全港。飯不是太熱,偏硬。難道是想客人吃快點,難道店主不會考慮轉日本米?义燒飯不復當年!已強調要肥的,結果是比波記更瘦。汁液偏少。已點選招牌燒味,仍不合格。其實,最近發覺不出高價,肥义,柳梅义不會獻身。义燒已和現實社會一樣-貧富懸殊,一般的乾瘦,燒味師傅讓我自己挑選,都找不到一條合眼緣的;上等的叫义燒皇,皇者是生於帝皇家(利苑等高檔店舖)。沙參玉竹燉生魚湯太淡。椰子燉鴿頗好,有椰子清甜味。我不是內地客,服務員,老舊客,將來還是買外賣算了。 continue reading

銅鑼灣作午膳的地方不少,蛇王二算是一處不錯的選擇。為了養身,燉湯少不了,西洋菜燉鴨腎是冬天必喝佳湯,不但西洋菜是是時令菜,每口湯都嚐甜而且份量算多,不過鴨腎只屬一般。兩款燉湯以言,冬瓜盅的味道較出色,不但清新入味,冬瓜甜美,每啖湯水亦覺美味可口。反觀燒味飯則較失色,尤其燒鴨更令人失望,不但騷味太重,味道亦不討好。燒肉不香口,更談不上肉汁,皮亦不香口。反觀友人的油雞和叉燒比較好,四款燒味中,油雞令人回味,不但甜道適中,肉質佳,且有雞味。叉燒淋香,更沒有嚡口情況出現。價錢不算得貴,約$60-$70(午餐),有飯連湯,但失望是燒味質素大不如前,幸好伙計們的態度殷勤,充滿人情味,就算食物一般,但服務態度郤叫人再三光顧。 continue reading

冬天最鍾意食啲暖粒粒既野!成日經過呢間都未試過,尋晚終於食到,6點幾去到唔駛等,套餐$106 有蛇羹,油菜同糯米飯,蛇羹一碗已經$68,所以套餐係相對地抵,但一個人未必食得哂個套餐,所以淨係試碗蛇羹先,但感覺一般,唔會話食完好想再去食嗰種! continue reading

食物可以,但地方細人逼人,快快食完出去付錢,我食了個$106套餐,给了錢後,收銀員不是同我講再見或多謝的例話。而是大大聲全間舖頭d人都聽到。佢話下次唔收呀!今次算你!(難道老子要感佢恩?)我問唔收咩?佢話唔收毫子,我給一張$100纸,一個$5元,兩個5毫。佢都接受唔到。態度惡劣,食完一肚氣 continue reading
