尖沙咀一向都雲集了不少印度菜式的餐廳,除了重慶大廈外,今次朋友帶我們來試試這間在世界各地都有的分店。店鋪樓面寬敞,實而不華,舒服簡約。由於朋友比較熟悉印度文化,飲食和語言,故這次的點餐環節就完全交給她了。我們點了好幾款薄餅類的主菜,每款也配有一些略有所同的醬汁。先講一下醬汁先,這個由椰子蓉捽取而成的dips,入口清新且能夠中和油炸類薄餅的膩感。Uttapam這款是南印度的米製主食,貌似比較像港式蔥油餅,味道就沒有蔥油餅那樣重味。Masala Dosa & Dahi Puri上方這個masala Dosa看起上來是不可能的任務,可是五個人分享剛剛好。外型像巨型的crepes,但外表鬆脆得很。薄餅味道略淡,不過中間有薯仔蓉醬,再可以點上三款不同的dips。
下方的是dahi puri,是印度街頭小食之一。外型像章魚小丸子,但十分脆口,裡面有醬汁和乳酪,冰火交融感覺十分新奇。chana bhatura個人最喜歡這款北印度薄餅。在它上碟前還有一些演釋。一個巨大,很有空氣感的大型飛碟空降,單是這點已值得留影。這款像我們比較熟悉的印度薄餅。軟身有口感。至於這款醬汁亦令我們讚賞得很,鷹嘴豆,香料,乾料,送飯也一流。Masala Tea我們五人對印度masala tea 印象最深刻,這款奶茶加入了不同香料,利用紅茶配以獨有烹煮方式。茶,奶和香料配得恰度好處,茶裡的小豆蔻莢,肉桂很有after taste. 很有熱朱古力薑的暖胃感。茶奶份量平均,有一少許回甘味,不加糖也能入口。因印度菜式味道比較復雜,不加糖更能中和濃稠感。Indian fried rice這個炒飯香而不膩,再配上乾果乳酪。咸香加酸甜味感覺新鮮。不過這個配搭只有印度炒飯做到。我們都在討論港式楊洲配乳酪會很奇怪。飯粒做到粒粒分明。由於配料多,有乾果,菇和雜豆,不加肉類也能滿足。Gulab Jamun朋友點了這款甜品,說是她在印度很喜歡的甜食之一。這個 Gulab Jamun 照字面解釋是玫瑰漿果的意思。這個由糖水汁浸著炸過的麵團。口感就像浸濕了的海綿蛋糕。由於我不好甜,這個甜品也是太甜了。

對於不太常吃印度菜的我覺得廷新鮮的,但稍有觀察就會發現其實印度菜都是左mix右mix就成為 另一碟新dish。多醬多香料多豆多米製麵團類主食。 continue reading

點解食評最少要80字架點寫呀都係想支持下少人幫襯既鋪頭姐haha好啦咁就過左40字了我地第二次黎聽講佢地搬鋪前係openrice好多好評架但搬左之後就無人寫喇我地好驚佢會執咁 就 寫 啦 搵左一陣先搵得返上次第一次食就好驚喜既野一個個樣好似咕嚕魚既paneer gobi fry好味丫 係炸椰菜花同羊奶芝士 之後用好多洋蔥炒仲有一個nuts dosa 都好吃叫左menu最底既咩咩特式香料炒飯仲有咖喱角 (呢個唔夠熱)叫左個(butter milk)既奇怪lassi 如果係鍾意食芫茜既勇者可以挑戰下😂我最後都係叫返杯奶茶飲☕️😼👍🏻呀 唯一係今次好似無問過辣度唔記得同佢講我地個個都食辣架今次佢唔知係咪諗住就我地口味唔加咁辣呢下次會全部加辣唔該🌶🌶 continue reading

由亞士厘道的舊店已經開始幫襯,搬來嘉芙之後,環境更好,可以靠窗坐,一邊看尖東景一邊食。伙記相當好自然不用說,他們的建議很中肯,不會像一些餐廳不停叫你叫呢樣叫果樣,亦唔會叫你點最貴的。我每次來都會叫咸Lassi,伙記話D飲品可以走糖,大家可以試下。雖然係素,始終D餅都係牛油整,會好易飽。 continue reading

我們點了Paper Masala Dosa,烤的大捲筒型薄餅.香脆,薯仔饀美味,惹味,必食.Dry fruit Rava Masala Dosa則是辣中有鹹帶甜,也頗特别.飲品方面,masala tea雖不大杯,但味道香醇,以cardamon和薑的香味最出,奶是略多了點,茶的比例如果多些更好.Masala Chaas(spiced buttermilk)這款飲品好特别:不-是-甜-的(如果你沒有既定印象飲品一定是甜的, 你會較容易接受)有芫茜碎在其中, 好香而清爽,像微鹹的乳酪飲料.我個人口味而言, 則是很喜歡雖然是賣素食,但香料運用得很好,味道豐富唔齋.搬了新店,地方新浄光亮,寛闊好坐(雖然略嫌裝飾上不甚夠印度風味)Menu上有好多款Dosa,下次再幫襯再試. continue reading

Great service during the off hours. Vegan options for all the lunch sets. Delicious food, moderately spicy, quite savory. My non-vegan friend loved the lassi. The space is quite big, with some tables enjoying a nice view of the plaza across the road. continue reading
