每次行過SAMSEN,都被它的裝潢吸引住,無奈這裡永遠大排長龍,筆者兩度來訪都未能入內;這次在兩堂瑜伽課之間單獨前來用膳,終於得償所願,等了5分鐘就被安排入座筆者被安排坐在吧枱的位置,甫一入座貼心的店員便提示我枱下的掛鈎位置,讓我放下背包後再細閱餐牌。一人用膳的好處是能迅速越過長長人龍,但同樣地只能點一樣食物和一杯飲品,連甜品都吃不下,始終有點可惜。筆者掙扎一番後也只能點了招牌的和牛濃湯河及泰式奶茶。點完餐後我終於可以環顧店舖,仔細觀賞店內的裝潢。綠色的木門很有古典美,配以簡樸的水泥牆壁和橫樑,很有夜市小吃攤的風味。坐在吧枱更能看見師傅的烹調過程,師傅亦會向客人介紹餐點及醬料用法,坐在這兒算是賺到了招牌泰式和牛濃湯河 (10/10): 其他店舖的船河湯頭雖然也香味四溢,但這裡的更香濃,質感也更杰身,像忌廉湯一般濃稠。和牛分為牛肉片和牛腩兩種,兩者都煮得很稔很入味,不過坦白說筆者覺得只要是用涮的方法煮熟,是不是和牛其實不太吃得出來。泰式奶茶 (9/10): 泰式奶茶味道香濃,扣分位是冰佔了很大部分,雖然加了冰茶味依然突出,但$48一杯茶飲讓冰佔大部分的位置感覺不太划算,建議走冰/少冰。SUMMARY: 這裡的環境和餐點都令人滿意,唯一不足的是排隊的人龍太長,侍應多次委婉地催促離座(如:還未喝完奶茶就被逼結帳、結帳後再問你有沒有帶傘等),催促令人壓力大增,以$205一頓午餐來說,筆者並不期望像在茶餐廳一樣囫圇吞下食物飲料就被趕走,希望餐廳能留意一下。 continue reading

之前睇過好多食評,都有介紹呢間餐廳,終於黎到試一試。原來老闆係澳洲人,在場食客都有好大部分係外國人。叫咗pad Thai($138) 同豬肉船麵($128)試一試,上菜很快(有點驚訝),一分鐘左右已經上咗個pad Thai它說是虎蝦,真的沒有錯,蝦的肉質很好,好像有3-4隻,都是大大隻的。火候都很足夠,算是一碟好食的pad Thai 但碟邊好像少了砂糖?我個人食pad Thai 一定用青檸和砂糖的之後來的是豬肉船麵(不過我忘了影相)。我第一次食船麵,是在曼谷victory monument站附近的那條舊街,幾蚊一碗的那種。這餐廳的船麵是幾十倍的貴價版,它的湯底很濃(我覺得是太過濃了)食咗幾啖已經不太想吃下去五香味不太突出,反而豬血的質感(杰撻撻)比較搶。但豬肉是用心烹調過的,很淋。豬肉丸是正宗泰國的那種。我個人覺得通菜可以落多一點,可中和返豬血的那種杰撻撻的感覺,因為麵也是索味的。我覺得這道菜對我來說有點太重口味。作為一個完滿的終結,我們點了mango sticky rice 這個是我在香港食到算好食的一個,飯的黏度適中,加上有心思的脆米(應該是炸過的糯米),只是芒果真的太少,我食曬個芒果仲有一大半飯殘念。既然賣得咁貴,用曬成個芒果應該不過份吧。不竟我在泰國街邊檔買的都係成個芒果切,嘻嘻。最後,我覺得餐廳係有水準的,但值不值這個價真的見仁見智。有點覺得這是比外國人食的亞洲菜 continue reading

自從食過一次samsen之後,就成日心心念念想再嚟食。可惜平時太忙真係冇咁嘅時間去排隊攞位,當日其中一位朋友可以早啲去排隊攞位所以好幸運地一去到唔駛等好耐就有得食。船河嘅湯底真係好濃郁,好好味,我朋友飲晒啲湯。不過唔知點解嗰日我嗰碗唔係好熱,所以扣左分。我哋仲叫咗炸魚皮,炸蛋,芒果糯米飯,都冇令我地失望。呢碗船河真係comfort food。希望以後佢哋expand,可以接受訂位咁就唔使次次都要去排隊攞飛先有得食。 continue reading

今日搵開女朋友食lunch, 就揀左佢公司附近依間試下佢地最聞名既船麵。其實之前都有興趣係度食dinner, 但排隊既人流太誇張了。見佢opening hour係12點開始,我地已經12點15分到,但已經full house要排隊。係排隊過程中waitress已經會問你要唔要飲住野先,都算細心。先講講依個招牌菜,船麵既湯頭好濃郁,杰身,濃得黎好甘香,應該係有九層塔係度。佢上面會配有啲脆豬皮,好香口但掂到湯都好快淋,建議快食。佢既面似係粉絲個種,幼身但煙韌。反而面上既牛肉用唔用和牛我都覺得唔太重要,因為個湯同麵都夠晒加分。枱頭有啲辣椒油俾客人加,但建議唔落重好,因為落完我覺得有啲影響原湯既味,後悔落左。依個蟹肉炒飯都好夠味,蟹肉份量唔會太少,都大粒。唔落佢個dip都好夠味。但論深刻就不及個船麵。 continue reading

We ordered pad Thai, wagyu beef noodle and watercress, fry pork skin. Mango passion ice. All the dishes are very very salty and rich. We can’t finish all of them and ended up wash off the sauce with water. It was horrible and we won’t come again. The drink was almost $60 dollars, basically everything was over priced. We queued for 45 minutes and the space was limited and very crowd. You might have to share table too.For less than a 45 minutes with lots of line up out there, the bill comes to $488!!A very unpleasant, salty, thirsty meal. continue reading
