The staffs were pretty friendly here as soon as we walked in. This restaurant looks pretty old, old table cloth, & a few plastic dishes were chipped... etc. I was quite surprised that the menu was written all in Chinese but served the Western/European foods... I ordered a steak in Sammy's sauce with some broccoli, 2 grape tomatoes, & baked fries. My family love the dishes they ordered & we're very satisfy with the foods & excellence service here!

今晚特意來懷舊一番。我們選在餐廳晚餐,沒有進扒房那邊。餐廳裝修很殘舊,雖則我們想來懷舊,但殘破的環境並不能給人愉悅的感覺,只有唏噓...羅宋湯頗大碗,胡椒味濃,適合嗜辣的舌頭。我要了黑椒西冷,好大件,仲有翠玉瓜及薯條墊底,份量十足,味道亦不錯,不過用鐵板上令medium rare變成了medium,下次應該選擇用碟上!朋友很滿意她的森美火焰大蝦,有四隻蝦,她說森美汁有點似洋蔥汁。用餐加$55可要一客焗田螺,咁抵,沒有不叫的理由吧?雖則環境非常一般,但小店需要支持,加上食物質素令人滿意,下次仍會再來啊!

其實呢啲懷舊餐廳原因係因為可以加錢食薯蓉田螺,呢度嘅薯蓉田螺果然不錯,薯蓉十分之細滑又唔會焗得太耐,田螺帶點汁將啲汁到埋落去薯蓉内,更加好味。

自己嘅牛扒呢我點左呢個T骨真係。。食到三分一我放棄,唔係因為佢煮得唔好而係本身個塊牛扒已經係雪得太耐肉質變得好紫色。

蒜蓉雞扒不過不失,配上可愛新雪蕃茄翠玉瓜,每一樣配菜都很新鮮雖然係冇乜調味。

其實呢度食飯食咁多樣野加埋都差唔多$500,我自己都覺得有少少貴嘅,不過有啲嘢其實唔會有下次,點解我地唔珍惜呢一次嘅機會呢?連出名嘅馬可龍專門店都要關閉了,其實珍惜喜歡就應該要試。

You can't get more old school than this place. This is the sort of place you'd go on a date for a fancy western meal in the 80s and it still looks like it's in the 80s. It's cramped, it's cluttered, there are lots of random knick knacks and the menu has a photo of the Eiffel Tower on the front and the Arc de Triomphe at the back. It's almost kitschy, but it's not. This is just how it has always been. Absolutely love it! I had the T-bone steak and the portion was huge! the steak was probably 25cm

It was tasty and cooked as requested, slathered with old fashioned pepper sauce. The sauce has a nice peppery kick while not being cloying. Service is like it was back in the day. All in, it's good value! 😀

我一坐底,就立即點呢個餐。首先來的,是一個微暖的麵包。好多人會浸一浸湯才食,其實就咁一舊牛油塞入麵包的內心,已經非常之好食。

紅湯,就是羅宋湯,是一個好多湯渣既美味版本。有牛肉香,有蕃茄味,也有少訐的辣味道。老味道的羅宋湯,若有大大舊的牛肉給咬口,一定會更加正。

主角就是 T骨扒,而我選擇了蘑菇汁。T骨扒,一邊是西冷扒,另一邊是牛柳扒,是一塊可以立即給你兩種牛肉感受的牛扒。食港式的牛扒,除牛肉味之外,最重要是個汁夠味道,是日的蘑菇汁,香味一流,而且牛扒夠腍 (港式牛扒係要食腍既),腍得來仍有很香的牛肉味,沒有起筋,肉亦很離骨。我可以說,小時候食牛扒的美味感覺,尋回了。

之前飲了咖啡,包的飲品就要了奶茶。這是一般的港式,用淡奶沖的奶茶,不是什麼極濃的絲襪奶茶。而這一種奶茶,就像我們一般在家自己沖的奶茶一樣味道。

午餐時間喺西營盤搵食,咁就試下森美啦,夜晚食牛排都算OK,又係老店,支持下去到門口見無咩人,都有啲感覺到伏伏哋...叫咗個咖哩,同行朋友叫咗個燒汁雞,味道真係同一般茶餐廳無咩分別最慘係2個飯都只可以用「暖」嚟形容食多兩食直情凍埋餐飲呢?個檸茶無咩味,冰又好似多咗啲咁...最後都係梗硬食完走...我以後唔敢喇...對唔住呀朋友仔,係我介紹你嚟嘅....

今晚老公帶小妹吃扒,他說帶我到森美餐廳,第一時就想要DJ森美,當然,兩者是無關的,這家在西環屹立了四十多年的扒房,進店內,很有兒時吃扒的感覺,對,就是這種,很令人懷念,這類型的餐廳,在香港買少見少了。 店仍保留八九十年代的裝修,但仍保養得宜,感覺光鮮,坐得舒服。 小妹點了紅湯,港式羅宋湯,較傳統的稀,惹味蕃茄雜菜,很喜歡這個味道。 白湯,忌廉什菜,味道比較淡,紅湯味道較為突出。 餐飽,這個則有點失望,涼的,口感不軟熟。 小妹點了牛柳五成熟+森美汁($190),牛柳很腍身,熟度剛好五成,且份量足,不過牛味不算濃,最精華的是這裡的森美汁,以西芹、洋葱及蘿蔔等蔬菜,再加上黑椒及其他調味而成,令口感更Juicy,旁邊的薯格,香脆可口,內裡的薯蓉口感香滑。 老公點了森美汁豬扒($190),豬扒肉質爽嫩,肉本身亦夠Juicy。 點了龍鳳檸樂,這個真的不是每間店也有,咸檸+樽裝可樂,無敵之配搭! 同場加映,可愛貓咪,這店有三隻貓咪,這隻是最肥的,經常走過來逗我們玩。 玩得累了,伏在老公的肥厚大腿上,不讓我們走,十分可愛!

森美在西營盤是老牌餐廳,我通常前來食晏多,是日午餐如下:通常我都係食牛,因為始終呢度都稱為扒房,同埋我鍾意食黑椒汁,於是叫了個A餐紅湯跟意粉。先黎個餐飽,外脆內軟而且仲熱緊,可能叮過黎,搽上牛油即溶。羅宋湯,只酸不辣,比較稀身,味道不濃。。。主角我既丅骨扒,都幾大塊下,唔係煎得熟透,切時都有點難切,有d筋咬落都有小小un ,但都有肉味比較真實,唔會好似某d餐廳咁醃到冇哂肉味,個人略嚴唔夠多黑椒汁同埋唔辣埋單加一盛惠6x元,不過不失但一定食到你飽
