我家住西营盘,以前对面挂着一只大牛牛的灯光招牌,就是这家森美餐厅。后来,政府不允许吊挂招牌,就没了这个街坊标志。但原来它是 1969 年开业的。至今 51 年。门口一壁墙,贴满名人照片。香港,因为地产霸权,几乎没多少老字号餐厅。能屹立半世纪,也算有本事了。味道是可以的,但这餐厅不怎么进取,平白浪费了老字号金漆招牌。我家有印佣姐姐做饭,所以几十年来我都不会帮衬这家老朋友餐厅。近日,有点怀旧的 mood, 于是就去重温一下。铁板黑椒西冷牛排套餐,以前几十元,现在进化到接近 200 元。牛肉不错,大大件,也算吃得疼快。黑椒汁,用神灯外形的酱汁杯端出,很有亲切感。港式豉油西餐,现已渐渐式微。其实是很不错的。餐厅玄关处贴了一壁的照片墙,曾经光顾过的名人明星很多。 continue reading

有朋至遠方來,因為,落腳酒店鄰近森美,決定与他們懷舊一番...入到店內,似走入時光隧道,回到70年代末,裝潢很舊,很雜亂,舊得似乎有點過份...羅宋湯,料多,西芹,青椒,紅椒,紅蘿蔔,揶菜,洋蔥,很夠酸,很夠辣,好飲麵包,是傳統的餐包仔,bake 熱左,邊脆脆,好吃,不過,上抬時遅了,不能,與湯同步...鑊仔牛柳,鉄板上,(好耐無食過鉄板的食物喇),芝芝聲,好有氣氛,牛柳要medium rare ,鉄板烤熟了小小,剛剛好,牛柳肉無鞋口,無靱,無鬆肉粉味,有三片,全部合格,好吃,果然,係五十年名菜咖哩牛腩煲,大份量,咖哩味道調得香,牛腩有咬口森美汁牛扒,朋友要well done,汁好好味,牛扒全熟,靱,難chew !!比較精彩,焗雪山,外觀ok,做得尚算傳統,旦白軽柔,生果夠,雪糕夠凍,一口吃下去,又熱又凍,口感好縂括,是不錯的一餐,希望,餐廳可以維持 continue reading

早兩日突然好想鋸扒,男朋友話佢知到有間舊式扒房就帶左我去食。一入餐廳真係好懷舊嘅,睇得出呢間野應該真係好多年歷史,牆上有好多名人泥過食嘅相,但認真我其實覺得佢舊得過份左小小,比我感覺有小小污糟殘舊。- 鐵板黑西冷扒 $170諗住都成$170蚊,應該會好好食啦,點知...完全係中伏!牛肉完全冇牛味不突止,仲要好淋好淋,淋到離哂大普個隻,食落個感覺就係用左好多鬆肉粉而唔係塊扒靚個隻,一個字 差!- 鐵板鑊仔牛柳 $140救命🆘真係一山還有一山低...當你以爲上面塊扒都淋到差到冇得再差時候,呢個真係太差啲再淋啲,我可以形容佢係淋到霉我同男朋友完全食唔落,兩份都食唔到一半就冇食落去喇,唉,好失望佢每份扒都跟兩個大薯仔鐵板上,我地嫌佢阻住鋸扒,將佢搬開左- 法式焗田螺 $55(跟餐)正正常常,冇特別反而成餐飯最好食係呢兩個餐包,佢熱辣辣咁上,側邊焗到脆嘅,旋風式比我地食哂。總結:好失望好失望,唔推薦大家泥 continue reading
