We were craving for some American steak and saw this as part of the restaurant week promotion. We came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The service was amazing, except for the part when they delivered the birthday cake. I’m not sure what happened but I think perhaps they couldn’t light the candle from afar that they showed up with an unlighted candle. Kinda ruined the surprise 😅 but other than that the service was amazing, he kept checking in on how we enjoyed our food. The steak was cooked sooo well, and it was so soft. I wasn’t a big fan of the cheesecake though, it was very dense and rich. It wasn’t my cup of tea, but if you like rich cheesecake this is the place to be! Also, the capriccio had a bit too much mayonnaise for my liking. I think if they add half the sauce, the dish would be amazing. continue reading

Restaurant week, 黎番好耐冇去過既地方。 入面waiter H先生好好服務, 好耐冇見過咁有heart的員工。 我們選了8oz牛柳同有蝦。 首先出場龍蝦湯, 好好好味! 先生最愛, 所以要點。 跟住有蟹餅, 好熱, 好好味, 啖啖蛋肉。, 不愧為這間餐廳的鎮店之寶。 跟住這係個牛, 是夠淋, 入得口, 但先生吃得出上面隻蝦有雪味。 下次黎要叫porterhouse先得!sides就有薯蓉&菠菜, 我地都覺菠菜好味d, 可能薯蓉d牛油不夠, 好淡! 最後甜品有cheese cake, 好滑, 唔實, 唔似平時食開d newyork cheese cake. 還有雪糕呢! 因為是記念日, 餐廳會幫客人影相。 個個攞住自己手機時, 突然這個舉動真係好耐未試過! 好懷念! 總體上氣氛一流, 食物還好。 因價錢好合理(比Morton), 過了1個好愉快既夜晚。 而家做生意困難, 要出黎食多些,支持吓。 有生日, 記念日都適合, 比較舒服的慶祝, 唔係果d嘈嘈閉, 枱枱唱生日歌果d ! continue reading

是咁的,當日同老婆慶祝結婚一週年,基於老婆從來未食過兼且自己都只係同屋企人食過lunch,好想試下佢嘅晚餐。一入到門口就知道無去錯隔離Outback,佢嘅裝修完全同金鐘嗰間一樣,濃濃嘅美式扒房味道: 皮梳化、玻璃屏風、卡位短枱俱全,完美將金鐘嘅Ruth’s Chris複雜出黎,燈光柔和,環境氣氛同衛生同100分。服務方面,侍應唔多,大概一個侍應serve 3至4枱客,但係完全看似係一對一service咁體貼。由坐低開始,侍應就先斟水俾我哋飲,然後遞上餐牌,再推介set餐同散叫嘅菜式,最後我老婆叫左當日唯一一個$488 set餐,我就散嗌soup of the day、焗蠔、大蝦盤同埋一塊12oz 肉眼。侍應喺上每道菜式都會問需唔需要叫黑胡椒,我同老婆成餐飯都未見過自己個杯無水,並非因為我地無飲水,而係因為侍應會企喺老遠角落一路同其他同area嘅侍應吹水,一路留意住枱上嘅水杯;每道菜上嗰陣個侍應都好似啲女仆咁叫我地enjoy~ 非常親切、尊業!食物方面,水準之上,老婆嘅龍蝦湯我飲過好多次,味道如出一轍,龍蝦味爆滿,質感濃郁,入口猶如吞輟龍蝦精華;小弟就試左蟹肉周打湯,對比龍蝦湯更為出色,如果龍蝦湯嘅味道叫做暴力,蟹肉湯就係君臨天下嘅感覺,完全無味覺疲勞嘅感覺,蟹肉同牛奶忌廉個融合程度就似維他朱古力奶咁,唔會有單方面嘅搶味,而係互相升華味道,對得住soup of the day!焗蠔係用忌廉加菠菜鹽焗,呢碟菜對比湯就遜色少少,蠔有蠔味,topping有忌廉菠菜味,但偏偏分庭抗禮,溝唔埋,不過啲蠔幾新鮮同埋重蠔味;蝦盤有10隻蝦同埋一scone薯蓉,蝦肉爽口多汁,但係每人5隻會食到味覺疲勞,薯蓉用左米芝連食譜,香味濃厚,口感順滑;老婆嗰份牛係7成熟6oz牛柳配松露汁,肉質嫩滑,松露入味,每分牛肉都夾雜住松露芳香,將牛味唔重嘅牛柳添上濃烈嘅野菌味,非常抵讚!我自己嗰份medium rare 12oz 肉眼可以話係將百佳黑椒咸豬手嘅味融入左去嘅牛肉當中,外脆內軟,黑椒、鹽同百里香完美將肉眼嘅牛味升華!老婆有份芝士焗西蘭花嘅side dish ,西蘭花焗到啱啱熟,唔會有生嘅硬度同青味,亦唔會有overcook嘅淰,軟硬適中,頂面鋪上cheddar cheese同mozzarella ,焗到溶晒,外層少少燶,香濃芝士夾西蘭花,perfect!驚喜位:訂位嗰陣同餐廳講左係慶祝結婚週年,餐廳送左份甜品比我地,本身老婆個set已經有cheese cake ,所以佢地將送嗰份甜品改成青檸sorbet,仲用朱古力上Happy Annversary,老婆大讚非常方便打卡,甜品小弟唔識鑑賞,個sorbet係好食嘅,酸酸甜甜,非常適合食飽後解濟。終極驚喜位:侍應上完甜品之後,佢拎左部DC仔出嚟幫我地影相,之後仲print埋出黎攝喺個心意卡度送比我地,抵你賺我地錢嘅,埋單$1858,體驗100分,食物85分,扣分位喺海鮮菜式度,味覺疲勞係高級餐廳嘅禁忌,海鮮同材料嘅味道如果可以做到相輔相成就更好! continue reading

我們在openrice第一篇食評就給相當有回憶的RUTH’S CHRIS餐廳以原木色的地板、傢俬作主要裝修一進店就被典雅而充滿格調的環境吸引而且可以在寧靜的環境中享受這一餐飯。待應服務態度好好,十分親切,很有耐心。.我們要了1個湯,1款前菜,2份主菜。🔺Sizzlin’ Blue Crab Cakes ($180 )Ruth Chris 最有名是Sizzlin Plate,這個蟹餅亦不例外,一奉上就聽到高溫碟配上牛油「滋滋滋滋」的聲音,蟹餅裏面是一疏疏的蟹肉,啖啖鮮甜,十分出色👍🏻是必點前菜🔺Lobster Bisque ($160)我們叫了一個龍蝦湯share,餐廳侍應貼心地將龍蝦湯分成2碗,龍蝦湯香濃,有細細粒龍蝦肉,但略嫌不夠杰身。🔺Petite Filet 8oz - Medium Rare ($470)🔺Rib-Eye 16oz - Medium Rare ($600).餐廳外面有一個海報寫着 “All our steaks are served with tender, juicy and sizzling”令人非常期待,牛排以500度高溫碟奉上,再聽到牛油「滋滋滋滋」聲音,服務員還會溫馨地為你加上黑椒。.Petite Filet 和 Rib-Eye 都做得非常出色!外面有火炙的香味及口感,內裏肉質多汁嫩滑,牛肉味濃,伴以牛油更有效將牛排味道提升到另外一個層次。而我們十分注重的生熟度也是剛剛好!沒有overcooked。而Filet跟Rib-Eye的分別是,Filet脂肪含量低比較有咬口,而Rib-Eye油脂感豐富。.曾經看過一篇文章,講到選擇牛排,女生必吃Filet,男生必吃Rib-Eye。哈哈!好準的文章,不知大家是否認同⁉️😆.Filet 在香港餐廳較少見,是牛柳的末端部份,被認為是牛肉最嫩的部位。脂肪含量低,所以也是深受女性歡迎嘅原因😉 而男性通常則被脂肪肥膩咁豐富的Rib-Eye深深吸引着。🔺Julienne($90)即Regular French Fries,它是用粗薯條,香脆可口,絕對是大家喜愛之選。Side Dish來說是份量十足,兩個人叫一份Side Dish 已經十分足夠!🔺Cheesecake (Free Surprise)餐廳送上一個甜品Surprise - 芝士蛋糕還幫忙拍照即時送上相片,為生日畫上完美的句號。此款是經典New York Cheesecake 做法。而重點在餐廳的心意同蛋糕背後種種的生日願望.總評:餐廳環境非常有格調,環境寧靜。侍應看得出是經驗豐富,十分親切。食物水準高,由前菜到主菜都非常出色。價錢中等,會向各位推介這間扒房絕對是酒店扒房以外的選擇 continue reading
