we love finding hidden gems, don’t we? roji is literally tucked away in a dark alley in lkf and gives off laid-back izakaya vibes. we liked everything we ordered w favs being the wagyu dishes- both yakiniku and pot riceonto desserts, skillet pancake had this crispy brown buttery crust and pillowy-soft interior that went perfectly with hojicha ice cream. 📍Roji (中環)中環蘭桂坊德己立街20A號地舖小食試咗佢地嘅cartilage😲,同一般食到嘅雞軟骨唔同,佢哋切到一條條再拎去炸,比起一般雞軟骨腍啲,口感幾有趣,推薦!💯主菜叫咗佢哋嘅「Seafood Box🦀」有好多蟹肉同埋三文魚子,底下配上醬油飯,好有鮮味🤤;明太子烏冬🍜嘅明太子味唔係好出,麻麻地😟;「Octopus」🐙章魚唔係西班牙好軟腍嗰隻,有啲咬口但唔會韌,燒到吸管有啲脆口😋配上柑橘醬同墨汁薯蓉,無論味道口感或presentation上都好有心思👍🏻但個人覺得味道可以再重少少🤏🏻甜品試咗matcha cream brulee,呢個就真係唔係好得,無抹茶味咁濟🤣整體feel到呢間居酒屋對食物幾有心思☺️,可惜當日去到嘅時候好多都賣晒😭試唔到好多嘢。原來佢地星期五星期六晚10pm-2am仲有DJ,應該會再去試吓其他dishes🥰💰人均~$500😋總評分: 7/10 #foodlab中環

🍣 Roji 食評:日式精緻晚餐,味蕾之旅呢次喺 Roji 嘆咗一餐地道而有創意嘅日式晚餐,食物整體味道出色,但擺盤同部分細節方面仍有進步空間。以下係我對每一道菜嘅感受: ₊✧˚﹕︶︶︶﹕૮₍ ⸝⸝´ ꒳ `⸝⸝ ₎ა﹕︶︶︶﹕ ˚✧₊🐟 Hamachi Hamachi 魚生非常鮮甜,入口滑溜,配搭鹹香嘅 Ikura(魚子)同 Kombu(昆布),再加上 Bottarga(烏魚子)嘅濃郁風味,整體散發住滿滿嘅海洋鮮味。呢個前菜好有水準,味道層次豐富,係一個令人充滿期待嘅開始。₊✧˚﹕︶︶︶﹕૮₍ ⸝⸝´ ꒳ `⸝⸝ ₎ა﹕︶︶︶﹕ ˚✧₊🍣 Tototaku呢道係拖羅容,仲有一塊薄薄嘅紫菜包住,拖羅容調味得好出色,入口即化,脂香濃郁但唔會覺得膩。紫菜嘅鹹香味仲提鮮咗拖羅容嘅風味。不過,擺盤上稍微隨意,感覺可以再精緻啲,睇落去會更吸引。₊✧˚﹕︶︶︶﹕૮₍ ⸝⸝´ ꒳ `⸝⸝ ₎ა﹕︶︶︶﹕ ˚✧₊🥩 Wagyu Box呢個和牛便當係全餐嘅主角,牛肉煮得嫩滑,每粒牛肉雖然比較細,但份量絕對足夠。和牛嘅脂香配埋溫泉蛋(Onsen Egg)、七味粉(Shichimi)同香脆蒜片,口感豐富又飽滿。飯已經撈咗醬汁豉油,調味得好均勻,濃郁但唔會搶去牛肉嘅風頭,成道菜份量滿足,味道一流。₊✧˚﹕︶︶︶﹕૮₍ ⸝⸝´ ꒳ `⸝⸝ ₎ა﹕︶︶︶﹕ ˚✧₊🌮 Aji Taco呢個 Taco 用咗菜葉做殼,係幾有創意嘅設計。但係菜葉有少少苦味,而且影響咗整體味道嘅平衡。如果可以改用其他更中性嘅材料(例如紫蘇葉),應該會更加出色。不過,呢個創意值得讚賞。₊✧˚﹕︶︶︶﹕૮₍ ⸝⸝´ ꒳ `⸝⸝ ₎ა﹕︶︶︶﹕ ˚✧₊🍵 抹茶焦糖燉蛋呢道甜品係全餐嘅亮點,抹茶味濃郁,帶有微微嘅苦甘味,燉蛋嘅質地非常嫩滑,入口即化。而焦糖表面燒得非常均勻,同時非常脆,輕輕敲落去已經可以聽到清脆嘅聲音。甜度啱啱好,唔會覺得膩,係一個完美嘅結尾!₊✧˚﹕︶︶︶﹕૮₍ ⸝⸝´ ꒳ `⸝⸝ ₎ა﹕︶︶︶﹕ ˚✧₊✨ Roji 呢餐整體嚟講係一個高質素嘅日式餐飲體驗,食物味道均衡,特別係 Hamachi、Wagyu Box 同抹茶焦糖燉蛋,令人印象深刻。不過,喺擺盤同部分細節上仲有進步空間,例如 Tototaku 嘅擺盤同 Aji Taco 嘅菜葉問題。如果你鐘意清新細緻嘅日式美食,Roji 絕對值得一試!👍

Fusion菜一直係我好中意嘅菜式,今次嚟到西式x日式風格嘅Roji,餐廳位於小巷入面,搵路嗰陣仲錯過咗路口🤣⠀嗌咗四道菜,頭盤係Torotaku + Uni,吞拿魚同鮮甜嘅海膽超夾!完全冇腥味!係嚟呢間餐廳必嗌嘅前菜✨⠀主菜嗌咗烏冬、和牛、帶子先講烏冬,食起上嚟有蒜味但唔會好濃,整體嚟講仲有啲fresh,會想一啖接一啖咁食🍜A4和牛配雜菜,用上紫蘇葉同柚子醋混合嘅醬汁,和牛軟腍腍油脂十分香🤩,沾上sauce之後變得清爽而唔油膩,推薦👍🏻帶子有萵荀襯住,仲柚子高湯做sauce,同樣係清新無負擔☺️

餐廳位置:不好找,在十八座狗仔粉店鋪旁的巷子裡。食物質素:食物擺盤確實好靚,用黎影相打卡一流。但食物味道我覺得麻麻地,並沒有其他評論中寫到咁誇張的好食,中規中矩,基本上推薦的特色菜都有柚子醋的味道,包括甜點都係。價錢:兩人埋單差不多1500蚊(已包括服務費)!呢間餐廳適合同朋友收工後小聚喝兩杯,不適合情侶慶祝紀念日,因為環境有所限制。餐廳室內的餐台全部屬於共享式,兩個人想要相對好一些的位置,只能坐在室外。
