To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Food and Health Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department has launched the "League of RSS-friendly Restaurants" ("League"). Restaurants participated in the League will offer less-salt-and-sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the League Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 周六来南丫岛行山,看到他家有发哥合影的照片,就决定在这家吃。不过看到菜单的那一刻,发现菜单上居然没有价格,属于盲点餐。好吧,就开始点餐,等点完餐单据小票上来发现价格真是好贵:大概几只蒜蓉蒸虾,估计不超过8只吧,250港币,加一275,一个扇贝60,两只120,加一132,一份炒蛤蜊忘了多少,还有一份海鲜粥148,加一163,但是里面没有什么海鲜啊。另外两个蓝妹啤酒84。俩人吃了800多。贵到没朋友啊😱 continue reading

入南丫島行完山。食埋個海鮮餐先走天虹係南丫島比較出名,就試下佢啦。- 得獎咕嚕肉,係得過獎,味道都唔錯,肉既粉漿唔會好多,唯獨肉炸得唔夠酥脆。- 蒸元貝,蒜蓉比較咸,但蒸既時間都剛剛好。- 椒鹽生海蝦,好香好脆- 薑蔥波士頓龍蝦,除左鉗之外無乜肉,肉質亦一般。- 果皮蒸鮑魚,爽口彈牙- 鹹魚雞粒炒飯,好咸😂每一啖都係鹽食唔到⋯- 干燒伊麵,不過不失。雖然星期六食客都好多,有漏單情況,但係侍應都好好服務跟進番,值得一讚 continue reading

So my friend moved to lamma island and I helped him with the move, so in return he brought me to a seafood restaurant!We ordered razor clams with vermicelli and garlic 蒜茸粉絲蒸蟶子, salt and pepper bamboo duck 椒鹽九肚魚fried morning glory 炒通菜 and beef clay pot 牛肉煲。I love the razor clams, it’s pretty big and the vermicelli soaked up all the sauce!
