当然,吃完也就明白了为什么这么好订,只有招牌菜寿喜烧生牛肉惊艳,其它吃完没有太多记忆点。没兴趣点别的了,出来还另找地方续摊。整体感受是好的,但就是觉得有点不值这个人均。

切片极薄的鹿儿岛和牛,一夹起来好像要断裂的样子,但实则形散而神不散。特意做成了半生的熟度,脂肪纹路晶莹透亮,在灯光下透出略带挑逗性的诱人色泽。
·
澎湃的肉香在钻入口的刹那活了过来,一浪接一浪地往味蕾深处涌,入口即化却又回味悠长,缠绵着金灿灿的蛋液,如同一个热烈的法式舌吻。
·
环境、服务还是很有Best 50的质素,没啥可挑。一个印象比较深的细节是最后Chef出来跟我打招呼,看到他身上的纪念T恤衫才知道Yardbird已经10周年了,感叹什么呢,miss those good old times🫂

實在太耐無食好西,約朋友外賣都要揀間好既!返上一份工個陣,有同事話同客去食過好正,但呢d機會一直唔輪到我,自己book又成日好full。咁今次外賣我話要試呢間。我地點了一個home-akase, 返到屋企熱食都仲係暖既,應該係臨攞之前先整熱食,巧有心機。然後個炸魚居然又唔怕好肥好熱氣,配芥末醬配起來恰到好處。魚生亦很新鮮,不過款式就唔算太多,但整體來說不錯,海膽加蟹肉放在蟹蓋內,外賣而言實屬很精緻,非常滿足的一餐😋😋

OVERALL:
Ronin definitely retains it’s food quality inside and outside the restaurant. The takeout boxes are also beautifully presented. However, if all you’re craving is sashimi and sushi night, it might be cheaper to just buy raw ingredients and have a DIY handroll night with your BFFs.

DISHES:
🍣 Hand Roll set: The set comes with an assortment of sashimi, rice balls and nori for you to customize your own hand rolls. It was a pretty fun experience but not sure if it’s worth the price.

🍱 Home-askase set: This set comes with nigiri, maki rolls, hot food and eel rice. It was actually a decent amount of food and we loved the variety of dishes it included. Would definitely recommend this over the hand roll set. The eel rice tasted really good. Not sure if it would have been served warm at the restaurant because we defintely didn’t have it warm 😆

另外亦點了一客炸物Tempura 「Yuba Shrimp scallop roll」腐皮帶子蝦卷,和一客「Ganson fish collar 」醬煮油甘魚鮫。Yuba Shrimp scallop roll 是以帶子和蝦打勻後製作成蝦餅,包着紫蘇葉和腐皮,以蛋漿和炸炸,能吃出蝦和帶子的鮮味之餘,亦帶點紫蘇葉的餘甘,脆而不膩;而Ganson fish collar 則以特色醬汁烤煮,把魚絞分成小塊,外皮充斥着濃厚的醬油味道,魚肉則非常幼嫩。

主菜方面,是此餐廳其中一道最有名的餸菜「Kagoshima beef sukiyaki」和牛壽喜燒。此道菜式的特別之處是,和牛並不是輕熟,而是生吃,配以醬汁,蔥絲和炸蒜等材料與和牛混在一起,和蛋黃攪勻,不但能夠吃到和牛濃香的牛肉和油脂味,其他配料更能令牛肉入口後的口感和味道變得更豐富,把整道菜式昇華至另外一個層次,滿口幸福的感覺。

我就唔識欣賞,上每樣dish都會講到天花龍鳳,但其實調味同配搭配都係好單調,同埋唔覺佢有幫食材提升到~

而且每一樣嘅份量都好細,食完千幾二千蚊我翻屋企要食多個炒麵王醫肚😐

we are so exciting to go to ronin for one of my best friend’s birthday.the restaurant is a bit very hidden, make sure you wear non-high heels as the coming could be difficult.we went for the tasting menu and with ordering of a bottle of sake to enjoy our “pretend to be” In Japan experience.so here are the food !!!we love the presentation of food the taste is super nice as well!!!i think we will come back some other time when there is an update of the menu.

Secondly when we see the bill, there was an item for free welcome bite. We asked what was that and found out we didn’t even got offered that when we sit down. And the whole conversations the waiter and waitress were arguing it was free, but the point was I never got it and never felt welcomed.

This was my first time to the restaurant, and also last time. The food, service and seating doesn’t feel like a restaurant that should be in list of “Asia’s top 50 restaurant “ at all .

There are indeed too many amazing restaurants in Hong Kong (and some are not so great), and this is certainly another place which one would have no hesitation in recommending and returning!

The food was lovely, the dishes were authentic - it is Japanese fusion so the dishes were a mixture of Japanese ingredients with Western and Japanese style of cooking. We had a few of their signature dishes, including the flower crab and uni dish, as shown in the picture below. The dish was amazing and I could still remember the sweetness overloading in the mouth from that dish, the combination of the two ingredients was just brilliant! The seasoning they put (including shiso (also known as beefsteak plant) I think?) went really well with the crab and uni and highlighting the freshness of the ingredients.

The price is on the high side but I certainly think the food and services worth every penny of it! And an enjoyable meal with great friends is certainly priceless!
