Came here for lunch one day with boyfriend as we were walking in the Tai Hang area and saw this was new. Hotdogs seemed like a good idea and in we went.Layout looked like a hip pub like eatery. There was a cool chalk drawing on the wall. Tables and high chairs and a bar area for eating. You order and pay at the cashier and they bring the food to you when ready. There is 10% service charge.Noted cute retro like mustard and ketchup bottles on the tables. The menu had a variety of hot dog types, lobster roll and dessert which is basically bread pudding. All hot dogs come with French fries with an option to upgrade truffle fries for $10 more. They have a variety of soft drinks, wine and craft beer.Pizza Dog ($76). I ordered this. I don't know if it was due to the sauce or what but it made for one soggy bun. The marinara sauce was also unseasoned. The frankfurter itself was not grilled properly. It was soggy and it felt like it was boiled in water and not grilled later to ensure crispiness. The fries were disgustingly oily. It was so oily, I couldn't finish them.Chili Cheese Dog ($76). Boyfriend added $10 to upgrade to the truffle fries. Um...don't waste your money. It's the same super oily fries but now drowned in truffle oil so the whole thing smelled horribly overpowering. The size of the hotdog was also quite small. The chili was all things fail. It was just unseasoned bland minced beef thrown on top. Is it that hard in Hong Kong to find a good chili cheese dog? I guess so.Service was fine and fairly attentative. It's just that the hot dog was over priced and below mediocre. I won't return.…Read More
