住西環嘅朋友成日推介波記燒腦粉麵店嘅燒味,又話平日晏少少6點幾燒味可能賣晒提早關門,聽到我口水流,今日一於去試下。一黎到見到店內坐位唔多,好彩早少少黎到,坐下一陣已全店爆滿。專登黎到,即叫了碗朋友推介的燒鵝瀨,一上枱當堂嚇一跳,今天好好彩師傅比左隻鵝脾我,因為叫鵝脾瀨係貴幾拾,第一次黎幫襯真係有驚喜。燒鵝皮係脆同熱,配瀨粉真係一流配搭。朋友叫左碟叉燒燒肉飯,燒肉皮脆,內裡肥廋分明。而叉燒厚切,夠淋,上枱時仲暖暖地,而外面燒得少少濃,水準確係一流。最後,食飯期間除左全店滿座外,有勁多人外賣,走時門外等外賣都有近10人。燒味要做得出色真係唔簡單,波記係其中一間用心去做嘅燒味店。 continue reading

Absolutely one of the best in town for roast meat. Roast pork and oil chicken are fantastic. Char siew and roast duck are very good. Skip the dumpling dishes though—they are good but nothing memorable.  I prefer their bone marrow fries but from a value standpoint the corriander was fine. Overall a decent experience. Mid-range HK price, but freshly made food to order it's a good place to check out. The cha siu here is absolutely fantastic! Lean and tasty, not too oily or fatty - amongst the best char siu I've ever tasted.Recommended. continue reading
