pirata你可能未聽過,但pici你應該聽過。其實佢地同為pirata group 旗下嘅餐廳,同the optimist、honjo都係同一集團㗎。restaurant week期間都好full,建議可以book早啲慢慢食,因為上菜後期比較慢,當日我地由1830開始食咗兩個半鐘,由天光食到天黑\(・o・)/!。要強調嘅係生日嚟慶祝會送靚靚polaroid+ $100 coupon,仲有staff出嚟彈結他唱生日歌,附送蠟燭🕯️俾壽星吹,氣氛滿分,生活很需要儀式(尷尬)感呀。⋆⸜ restaurant week dinner menu $398 ⸝⋆STARTERS淨係starter都有三碟,同閨蜜食完startersss已經飽飽地,點知我地都食得曬所有嘢......麵包有酸種麵包,不過最鐘意係水泡餅形狀嘅香草味crackers(唔識佢個名),非常脆口,點埋黑醋、橄欖油更能提升麵包嘅香氣。;burrata & parma Ham +$28將風乾嘅西班牙火腿切成薄片,配上奶香濃郁嘅Burrata cheese,口感滿分。burrata軟滑得嚟帶煙韌,同新鮮嘅火箭菜、蕃茄一齊食更突顯出火腿嘅鹹香。;truffle caesar salad閨蜜表示呢隻truffle好似漂白水味🛁,我又唔覺。羅馬生菜新鮮爽脆,每一啖都食到好重嘅黑松露味,沙律醬非常creamy但食得多就略嫌heavy。;mussels with tomato sauce青口唔算厚肉但鮮甜,醬汁用上香草同蕃茄入饌,令味道層次更豐富。PASTA;truffle tagliatelle (v)同pici一樣,呢度嘅意大利麵都係自家手工製。今次呢款扁面望落同雲吞撈麵嗰隻粗麵有幾分似,偏硬身而且食落幾有咬口,同啲truffles、cheese好夾。;plin ravioli呢碟雲吞嘅賣相並不討好,個皮稍厚,我食完覺得個饀好似啲罐頭吞拿魚😅,疏,太低層次唔識欣賞。MAIN COURSEthe butcher's cut +$48pp叫咗Medium rare ,肉嫩略帶小小筋,用鹽簡單調一調味已經足夠帶出濃郁、帶焦香嘅牛味,食肉獸至愛。side dish 又係火箭菜,究竟我今日食咗幾多火箭菜?DESSERT;grande tiramisumascarpone cheese非常軟滑,lady fingers浸得軟腍,似蛋糕嘅質地。咖啡味香甜突岀,惜酒味偏淡,面頭脆脆的朱古力碎同曲奇碎更令我覺得佢係一個chocolate mousse,與心目中的tiramisu仍有一段距離。 continue reading

Four of us have been to PICI before and we called that Italian dinner a work of art so we searched for similar restaurants to go to in order to celebrate our anniversary. To our surprise, the same company had a number of restaurants in Wanchai. Hence, this time we knew we had to try them out. We are all fans of Italian food and there we headed to Pirata. The atmosphere was cozy and the light was dimmed, the lighting really had grown on me a lot throughout the dinner. Everyone, please remember to book a table before coming as the space is really limited and you don’t want to miss out on this restaurant! Once we were seated by a table, a waiter came and introduced himself, everyone was so friendly and it really enhanced our experience there. The waiter nicely went through the menu for us and recommended the dish of the night. We were also given an option of distilled or sparkling water so we went for distilled water and we were served rounds and rounds of water by the congenial staff. We had a hard time deciding which dishes to go for as everything looked amazing but of course we have to settle for something in order to proceed right? Our instincts led us to pick Sicilian Croquettes ($90), Burrata & Parma ham with cheese ($190), Lobster Risotto ($280), Plim Raviolli ($180), and Butcher’s cut ($340).  We loved their ideology of sharing as we enjoy sharing food amongst ourselves whenever we go. This time, with these food served at a top-notch quality, we couldn’t help but be wowed by the fine dishes. Everything was cooked for the right amount of time and especially the risotto which was not too wet nor too chewy. Every now and then, the staff came and checked with us the quality of the food. Few restaurants offer services to such a quality without charging you a serving fee! This restaurant doesn’t and all the surplus you provide go to the staff members. Afterwards, we got the tiramisu ($80) and chocolate fondant ($75) and they were lovely! Unlike PICI, Pirata seems to do more than just panna cotta and tiramisu but all the desserts do appear to cost more than Pirata for some reason. Regardless, we gladly devoured everything by the end of the dinner. It was our anniversary so the staff snapped as a picture as a keepsake with a coupon for our next arrival! This was an enjoyable dinner for all to us to remember. 香港餐廳周贏家系列中我選了 Pirata,可惜舊地重遊感覺不及當初,食物水準不過不失,服務態度相比樓下同系的 Optimist 失分,客人懂得選擇,場面相比寧靜,亦好。  午餐套餐午餐每位HK$198,假日來說頗相宜。 前菜、主菜及甜點在多款系列中各選一。 StarterHam & Cheese餐前小吃先送上巴馬火腿、芝士及橄欖、配麵包,錯不了的配搭。Vitello Tonnato經典的賣相,粉紅嫩肉上配上奶白色的鮪魚乳酪泥醬,以炸酸豆點綴,牛仔肉薄片瘦但嫩,入口柔順,傳統前菜,細緻美味。Fresh Garden Tomato Carpaccio 新鮮番茄與水牛芝士碎片的配搭,以醋汁調味,入口清爽汁豐。MAIN COURSES Sea Urchin Spaghetti +$68依我口味,海膽意粉需夠 creamy 才好吃,現在配合番茄醬作基礎的意麵,我覺得唔算夾,酸味中和了甘香,分開吃更佳,我還是喜歡配忌廉醬汁,邪惡加邪惡。話說過來,番茄意麵有質素。Atlantic Cod "Al Cartoccio”紙包鱈魚柳有睇頭,算是西式料理中很有誠意的煮魚方法,放進大量香草、番茄醬汁與蔬果同焗,全靠醬汁調味。醬汁味道唔錯,可惜不入味,魚肉滑但味啖,必須配些汁同吃才可口。DESSERTS (Choose one per person)Tiramisu、Panna Cotta兩款甜點皆到位,各有千秋。 餐廳周餐單疑似供應多款特色飲品讓客人額外添加,但侍應沒有介紹,我亦忘記了。  continue reading

Sicilian Croquette $90Plin Ravioli $180The Butcher’s Cut $340Amalfi $90嚟嘅時候佢會俾咗一袋麵包你,大塊嗰啲麵包似係pici麵包但係會軟啲,入邊仲會有啲脆圈圈球,我朋友就鍾意食,但係我就麻麻哋,覺得好似有一浸我唔係好鍾意嘅香料味😂都係鍾意食大塊嗰啲麵包多啲😂首先就上咗個starter,個sicilian croquette其實就係一個炸馬鈴薯球,入邊會有一啲蕃茄同芝士。個馬鈴薯球炸得好香脆!由於佢嘅外層唔厚,所以入邊嘅餡料其實都幾多,芝士嘅份量都唔少,食嘅時候真係有拉絲嘅感覺❤️蕃茄嘅酸味應該係用嚟中和,唔會咁”膩”,不過由於芝士同埋薯仔嘅份量加埋都係多啲,食一個其實都少少”飽肚”嘅感覺 (當然唔會咁就飽咗啦😂) 然後就係Pasta,個plin ravioli係一個鵝肝+雞filing既意大利雲吞。雲吞皮幾煙韌,入邊嘅filing唔知係我唔識食定係點,唔係好食得出佢係鵝肝,對我來講係一個鵝肝蓉質地嘅肉😂但係我朋友又食得出喎,我諗應該係我問題,我就覺得佢比較average。The Butchers cut用咗flank steak,唔係一塊牛扒,佢已經切好咗俾你,我叫咗medium但係我朋友就覺得佢似medium rare😂 想講份量真係好多,我哋食唔晒要打包走🤫 塊牛扒牛味幾濃,同埋食落去會有少少香既焦味,同平時食牛扒有啲唔同。牛好容易咬,我哋食咗咁多塊都冇肉筋,再加上鹽嘅簡單調味,覺得幾好食💜仲有啲火箭菜同埋蕃茄做配菜,兩者都幾新鮮。最後就係甜品,我哋叫咗個amalfi,其實即係lemon sorbet,上邊會有啲candied嘅檸檬,成個感覺好清新!因為我哋已經好飽,本身想試tiramisu但係都係唔食了😂 環境來講,我哋係坐30樓,雖然唔係window seat,但係感覺上空間感都幾好,佢編排左一個隔離冇人嘅枱俾我哋,感覺上嗰個就係我哋嘅小corner🥰 不過環境有啲黑,睇餐牌都有啲難度😂同埋嗰日其實係慶祝朋友生日,所以上甜品嘅時候會有Happy Birthday,然後侍應同埋應該有個經理會勁大聲唱生日歌,有一個仲會彈住一個木結他,幾有氣氛🎂之後仲會有一張即影即有嘅相俾返你,同埋一張要一個月內用嘅$100 coupon,呢度慶祝生日真係唔錯!整體來講我覺得食物質素係expected,同其他pirata group唔差太遠,但係我覺得真係特別日子嚟食好了,冇錢亦都唔係特別驚喜😂 continue reading
