難忘意式風情薄餅 Featured Review

那天和好友興致勃勃地討論大家近來吃過又美味的餐廳,你一言我一語光是說說也夠興奮,興之所至記下了一個列表,然後打鐵趁熱,連忙找個日子開始追尋我們的美食旅途。 近來運動量增加,身體長期都處於飢餓狀態,見到這店星期一、二都是做薄餅買一送一,頓時雙眼發光,急不及待要首先前往。這店位於西環尾,早年常常在附近覓食,不過經過很多次也未曾嚐過;店家門面不大,大約能容納四十人左右,牆壁上畫滿甚有香港風情的漫畫,氛圍輕鬆,但不幸的是我們到訪那天冷氣壞掉,加上一個專門烤焗的大壁窟,整頓飯都在近乎出汗的體感中渡過。 Margarita $145本著簡單就是美的心態點這薄餅,是意大利薄餅中最基本的配搭,可惜芝士不夠香濃,羅勒葉寥寥數塊散落在上,整體寡了一點,還好餅底甚有麵粉香,外脆內煙韌,挽回不少分數。 Fennel & Sausage $145薄餅選擇眾多,就點個平日較少見的,配料有茴香、豬肉腸、紅洋蔥和辣椒乾;不少外國飲食節目當中也會以茴香入饌,烹煮的話大多只取採球莖部分,口感爽脆像洋蔥,帶點微微的八角香,味道會隨著煮食時間而減弱,整體惹味過癮。 Aglio Olio with Prawn $180明知吃不完還是要點,皆因好友大推這家的意粉;大量蒜片用橄欖油爆香,蒜片熟透香甜,蒜味融入至意粉內,意粉彈牙有致,近來吃蒜沒後顧之憂,吃得開懷。 兩個人吃剩大半個薄餅打包回家,隔天翻熱再吃一樣美味。本想和好友再去下場為生活注入一點甜,可惜千辛萬苦走到店外才知他們原來星期一休息,吃了閉門羮,近陣子黑氣纏身,何時才能否極泰來? continue reading

本來諗住去中環食飯,但係上個禮拜先去完,今日就想去別的地方,咁就老遠咁去到堅尼地城食飯,真係堅離地呀!但係又幾值得喎,果然區區有特色,行到海旁邊皮有好多西式餐廳。見到佢有個好大個磚砌的火爐,就知道係pizza specialist。門口好開揚,晚上微風輕吹,感覺好chill out,又要happy hour 下。發現Monday to Thursday 都有buy one get one free 的pizza or pasta promotion,超抵食!下次會醒水。入面環境都唔錯,好大幅HK style的壁畫,我最鍾意有N年前黎過的鴨仔和黃雨傘。透過玻璃見到火紅紅的火爐在烤pizza。個場太爆,唯有坐高枱食dinner。先黎杯beer,Shandy full pint ($62)好似cider,但冇咁甜,唔錯。Big wave golden Ale($65)就normal。肉食獸不可錯過的Diavola ($145),舖滿pepperoni和mozzarella,pizza十分香,餅底也很薄,食起來真係好滋味。望住條街食,又幾有置身外國的feel。由於pizza真係太好味,食完一個要再encore。古法意式煙肉Panchetta ($145)有煙肉、cherry tomatoes和半熟蛋,意式煙肉都幾鹹,不過撈埋蛋漿食,口感又不俗,值得推介。除左classic pizza,仲有D好有特色的,竟然有咖喱牛腩,喜歡試新野的,絕對要試。 continue reading

西環真係好多選擇,沿住堅尼地城地鐵站行過黎見到好多餐廳都好貴。我地一行6人揀左經濟之選 ------PiccoloSalmon Salad三文魚份量超出想像~啲沙律菜都好fresh!quite good~Calamari Fritti ($85)呢個推呀!入面魷魚有嚼口又唔un重有2隻sauce點Bolognese ($150)蕃茄味酸味味加埋肉丸都好食,呢個意粉texture係我至愛Wedges ($90)$90 略嫌貴Carbonara ($160)推推推!好好味~濃濃嘅卡邦尼白汁味好多好多Bacon再加好多好多芝士無得彈!Pancetta pizza上碟見到有隻半山熟嘅蛋🍳又幾有特色喎🍕味道都唔錯啲蕃茄仔都好新鮮🍅有成11寸可以分到8大件~Cappuccino 最後嘆返杯咖啡☕️nice~ continue reading

星期三晚上,因公事的緣故,與同事來到堅尼地城工作。收工後已八時半多,巧合經過piccolo,突然想起過往的滋味,便決定與同事再訪!餐廳內大部份為外籍侍應,我想與餐廳地點有關。我們入座後,侍應便送上餐牌。在餐枱上,有一優惠牌子:原來現逢星期一二,各款Pizza均買一送一;而意粉類別於星期三四亦有買一送一優惠。餐點大概在點餐後15分鐘開始送上。warm green salad: 保持水準Honey & Bacon pizza: 味道有驚喜Fusilli Salsiccia: 肉丸太干,令人失望Linguine aglio olio with prawns: 與餐廳招牌的aglio olio味道分別不大,建議有興趣的客人直接點aglio olio,但調味仍屬水準之作 continue reading

這夜大家即興來到堅尼地城的PICCOLO Pizzeria,其實主要是為了想吃一口這裡出品的Aglio olio spaghetti  ($120)。這客香烤蒜蓉意粉材料只要蒜蓉,辣椒加橄欖油,看似簡單、但卻做得出色。蒜香突出,每條意粉都色澤均衡又入味,真惹味!PICCOLO的炸雞翼($100)和薯條($60)都是我們很喜歡的。炸得香脆不油膩,愛吃香口食物的朋友不要錯過。除了以上3款我們很喜歡的菜式外,大家也點了份較健康的Caprese salad ($120)。帶點煙韌的水牛芝士,配鮮車厘茄和羅勒,配搭清新健康。這裡薄餅口味有超過20款,而我們就選了Parma pizza ($145)。透過玻璃看著師傅即製的薄餅出爐,感覺好像特別新鮮 這薄餅餅底頗香脆,只是巴馬火腿偏鹹,要扣點分。整體來說,這裡食物出品不錯,氣氛輕鬆,真是簡單又滿足的一餐。 continue reading
