與老友一起到銅鑼灣完成工作坊已9:30pm。肚餓極了!便到了附近一間越菜餐廳吃晚餐。我們各自選了一人套餐!十分抵食!$75包一碗湯粉丶小吃和飲品。太太選了扎內湯河和春卷,而我就選擇了雞絲湯河和越式粉卷。端上來時熱騰騰的,扎肉爽口彈牙,配上青檸汁丶紅辣椒粒,再加上香純的魚露,河粉軟硬適中有𡁻口,美味!雞絲嫩口入味,在加入魚露丶青檸汁和紅辣椒粒的湯中,竟沒有蓋過雞的鮮嫩,平淡中的不平凡,滿足!很欣賞越式粉卷,粉卷皮煙韌度恰到好處,給這小吃加了分!雖然春卷炸得金黃鬆脆,但味道一般,這是美中不足之處!店員服務不錯,友善親切! continue reading

以為屹立不倒的老牌食店有信心保證,沒想過會是如此差。下午六時,入到去我們是第一枱客人。坐著的幾名店員沒有打招呼,我們自行坐下後,他們才站走來,對自己說了句「好,開始啦」。餐牌比想像中乾淨,不是被揭了一萬次的餐牌。當然價錢也不是多年沒改的價,絕對跟得上通脹,都幾貴。生牛肉河,落單後兩三分鐘便上枱,令人驚訝「有冇咁快呀?」理性分析,湯一早煮好,河粉快熟,生牛肉預先切好,又真的不用多久。舌頭告訴我,煮得太久。牛肉切得少少厚,夾起一大舊,有點嚡,零肉味,奇差。河粉正常,不太腍,可以接受。湯底見到一圈圈油光,猜是熬肉時熬出油,怎料淡而無味。一。點。味。道。也。沒。有。全碗最重味,是生洋蔥和後加的辣椒。豬肉蝦片,拿起放入口,竟然咬不開。用力咬著它,左右搖動,豬肉碎都掉下來。終於咬開了,手剛才按得大力,滿手油光,狼狽。猶豫了一會,決定向店員反映。他用手按了一下蝦片,然後說給我們換一碟。再來一碟,蝦片是脆的。明明見到豬肉,卻只吃到肉鬆味,但味道都算可以。豬肉濱海,烤豬肉沒有絲毫的燒烤香,失望至極。唯一慶幸的是,乾乾的豬肉有咬口,不是用添加劑弄得超腍那種。低處未算低,從未吃過這麼韌的濱海,乾得誇張。樣子像公仔麵麵餅的濱海,口質跟賣相一樣差。即使明顯有切過痕跡但仍黏在一起的濱海,浸一下魚露才分開。晚餐時間,陸續有客人入座。有不看餐牌的熟客,也有講普通話的遊客。一句講完。被老字號騙了。 continue reading

經過這餐廳很多次,一直覺得門面不吸引,沒有內進嘗試,但由於附近的餐廳要等位,所以和友人決定一試。價位方面:一個湯河(加一後)$68,湯河套餐- 一個湯河+春卷和飲品(加一後)$88。價錢談不上十分便宜,但是湯底、麵質和我點的豬扒比想像中更佳,加上「越南河基金野三寶」-魚露、青檸和辣椒基本配料,味道更提升,肥仔波覺得可以一次過食五碗呀!〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️肥仔波指數:3.5/5分 continue reading

當日因為有事做經過銅鑼灣,見到門面簡單嘅越南餐廳,所謂門面簡單姐係門牌係白底綠字,未食過都會一睇門口就知道係越南餐廳嗰款。一入到店內,就同朋友叫了一個一人套餐及一碗熟牛肉湯河。而一人套餐係包括扎肉湯河、齋卷同餐飲。扎肉分量十分多,個人推薦湯河配青檸同辣椒係好好味,雖然好辣另外,跟餐有埋齋卷,佢係用傳統嘅越南米紙整成。如果就咁食就會無乜味,名附其實「齋卷」,所以就一定要沾一黯附加的魚露。都係即刻將平平無奇嘅齋卷變做勁好味,如果有興趣嘅朋友都要試下咁食啊 continue reading

Tonight I came here with a friend and we like the look of the restaurant from outside thinking that it would be decent because they had nice photos of the food. We ordered Banh Hoi with grilled pork chop, a noodle salad with soup for my friend and a raw beef pho for me. Firstly the oho came and the soup was super dark... looked like brown beef flavoured instant noodle. Then... they never gave me bean sprouts or basil. They gave me the sweet sauce but it was Lee Kum Kee Hoisin Sauce... which isn't exactly what I was expecting either. I asked for sriracha and they gave me Thai hot sauce. Finally the Banh Hoi came and the pork chop felt like pork jerky. I think that give you all a good idea of what to expect here. continue reading
