今次同朋友嚟呢度食慶祝生日,佢講嘢間餐廳嘅裝修幾靚。唔似一般高級餐廳,似係嗰啲好有外國風情嘅小餐廳。本身想食佢個burrata,不過因為佢賣晒,所以我哋total就叫咗三樣嘢。叫咗一個Pizza一個carbonara,仲有個Mozzarella Salad。兩個人來講都比較多,唔係好食得晒。不過佢哋嘅嘢食真係唔錯,因為只係因為份量較多所以食唔晒。嚟緊因為佢喺酒店入面既餐廳所以價錢偏貴,但係個feel係幾好嘅。 continue reading

今天同學幫我補祝生日就選了去都Novotel的意大利餐廳已經有差不多一年多沒有來 Pepino。 因為之前去Sabatini因為疫情沒有供應半自助餐令午餐大為失色。到的時候見到他的半自助餐跟去年一樣放在那裡 就已經有加分的感覺!前菜及 甜品檯菜色跟以前一樣咁豐富, 主菜的部分我選了羊架medium, 朋友就選了大蝦。羊架做得很嫩滑而大蝦就不過不失。說回精彩的前菜Table, 提供了 各式前菜、沙律、芝士及忌廉湯……煙三文魚的質素很高! 而最令我驚喜的是他的八爪魚蕃茄沙律,用的蕃茄 不是一般的!味道好甜而八爪魚就非常彈牙嫩滑! 南瓜沙律做得很鮮甜、清爽,沒有一般的腻。 Parma ham和蜜瓜 配搭完美…… 同學以為我喜歡吃薄牛肉就幫我拿了一點,怎知道原來那是薄切辣肉腸!非常之辣!所以大家要小心喎!而甜點枱的Highlight 是草莓藍莓及桑子、蜜瓜及菠蘿……很甜很新鮮……甜點試了芝士餅及濃郁朱古力蛋糕、味道一般……相對水果比較出色!差點忘了 放在枱上的意大利麵包 ……因為頭盤太出色所以有種感覺他就是比一般貨色好一點點的麵包!整體座位非常舒適頭盤出色、 午餐每位348算是CP值颇高! continue reading

由朋友介紹到這家位於香港諾富特世紀酒店1樓的意大利餐廳午膳,它處於繁忙的灣仔鬧市,但走進酒店大堂再上1樓的餐廳,感覺優雅寧靜,和外面的繁囂形成強烈對比。 酒店的裝潢以木材為主,有古色古香的木櫃,亦有木製的小餐車,很有歐陸氣派。一邊有玻璃窗可看見街景,亦引入天然光,環境柔和舒適。 餐枱紙像是報紙一樣,內容與飲食的歷史和資訊有關,亦有一個找錯處的遊戲,玩味十足,可以在等候食物期間消磨時間。 行政午餐包括前菜(沙律或餐湯)、主菜和甜品,其實亦包括餐飲,雖然餐牌未有寫清楚,只要詢問服務員就可以。 餐前麵包溫暖,用手撕開,感到它像海綿一樣軟棉,富有彈性,味道與橄欖油是絕配。我點的前菜是忌廉意大利青瓜湯,先嗅到香濃的忌廉味,口感濃稠之餘,亦不失滑溜。起初以為餐湯用青瓜做成,會有青瓜的腥味和苦澀味,但它反而揮發陣陣芳香。朋友點的沙律前菜外觀吸引,食材有蕃茄、生菜、parma ham及水牛芝士,有多種顏色,鮮艷而有層次感。各種食材新鮮,蕃茄鮮甜多汁,生菜爽脆,parma ham鹹香味迷人,水牛芝士味濃清香。主角烤鴨胸出場了!鴨胸堆砌得整齊,疊在焗薯和椰菜仔上。鮮嫰粉紅的鴨胸和翠綠的椰菜仔,顏色上形成一種對比,亦顯得很有層次。煎過的鴨胸味道很香,皮薄肉多、脂肪比例少,而肉嫩多汁。焗薯有濃濃的薯香,椰菜仔亦鮮甜爽脆。 朋友點的大蝦意大利飯顏色豐富吸引,橙色的飯粒鮮艷醒神,加上蕃茄、大蝦及兩條鮮嫰碧綠的露筍,造型很酷。意大利飯的軟硬度和調味剛剛好,有奶油般濃郁的質地,在口腔留下難忘的香氣。鮮蝦爽滑彈牙,滋味甜美。吃過精彩的前菜和主菜,現在到甜品壓軸出場了!這是opera蛋糕,一層一層,外型時尚,朱古力和咖啡的味道交融,朱古力的醇厚和咖啡的甘香都恰到好處,它們兩者互相平衡,苦中帶點甜,再在口中融化。加上海綿蛋糕的鬆軟和棉滑的口感為這頓午餐畫上完滿的句號。 朋友的確沒有介紹錯,這裡食物造得出色,服務員西裝筆挺而笑容可掬,環境幽靜而有風格。總括來說,這是一個用餐的好去處。 continue reading

平時就算食得幾差都唔會留食評,今次平安夜的一餐令人不得不留言。As a person who doesn't do food reviews, even with bad experiences, this Christmas eve dinner at Pepino has left a sour taste in my mouth. 係環境方面,餐廳裝修得非常漂亮,環境幽靜,坐位闊落。職員都非常親切友善,服務迅速。價錢上以平安夜計不俗。The restaurant itself is well furnished and wonderful and the seats are well spaced and comfy. The staff are friendly and are quick to serve. The price of the food is decent considering it's Christmas eve. 食物方面整體一般,係令到整餐搞得掃興主要原因。我一共點四道主食和飲品。餐包和mojito都平平無奇。 其次主餐海鮮貝殼粉 ( seafood aglio olio) 和羊腿 (ham shank) 是原兇。味道上尚可,可是食物冰凍。羊腿尚算可口,但是貝殼粉冰冷,令到貝殼粉生硬。我同職員反映情況,佢哋整熱返來結果都係冰冷(只係有水份嘅海鮮略略加熱)。唯獨是龍蝦湯 (lobster bisque) 有出色,味道非常好。The food overall is unremarkable, but it's the sole reason of this bad experience. We ordered 4 dishes and drinks in total. The bread and mojito was decent. The seafood aglio olio and the ham shank is quite unpleasant. The taste of these dishes were decent, but they were ice-cold. The ham shank, due to its meat nature, was not so bad as the aglio olio. The pasta was hard and cold; I've told the servers about the situation in which they reheated the dish to no avail (microwave was probably used as the watery seafood parts of the dish was heated up). The pasta was still cold. The only redeeming part of the meal was the lobster bisque, it was creamy and tasted wonderful. 臨埋單離開見到後面臺啱啱上咗pizza 同意粉,拉出嚟係辣辣。我同女朋友眼見情況,表示非常不滿,足足影響整晚心情。如果你尋找嘅係一間食得好嘅意大利餐,選這間會有保留。As the bill was paid for, me and my girlfriend was about to leave when we saw pasta being served to another couple behind us. As if adding insult to injury, the pasta was steaming hot and this have left us furious. We have serious reservations if you considering this restaurant for a good Italian meal. continue reading
