經過呢間法式小店, 見SET LUNCH 都啱食, 入去坐低, 老闆係法國人, D客人全部係外國人(除左我), 而且講法文多, 英文少, 即係比較正宗吧??!! 感覺幾有氣氛...先上麵包籃, 有幾片硬而凍的法包,  果然十足當地人食咁, 唔會烘熱奉上跟住上沙律, 有沙律菜, 橙肉, 番茄同經調製的紅菜頭, 味道清新...主菜係蘆筍火腿尖通粉, 軟硬度煮得幾好, 調味亦OK, 除左兩條放面蘆筍, 亦有唔少蘆筍粒同火腿粒係入面, 增加左口感甜品係法式薄餅,  個汁酸酸甜甜, 又加D檸檬皮, 減少甜度, 幾好味..埋單$128再加一, SOHO區附近算幾抵食, 水準亦唔錯, 可惜可能係法式小店, 上菜比較慢, 未必適合忙碌或午餐時段較短的客人 continue reading

I went there once with friends to have a drink on a Wednesday evening and it was a good experience since we enjoyed a good glass of french red wine. The environment is great as well, waiters speak french which give character to this place. We had a really good time there!After this good experience I decided to came back for lunch and tried the lunch menu.To start I ordered the salad with seared tuna which was perfectly cooked and seasonned, I even thought there were not enough...I continued with the fish which was a pan fried barramundi fillet. Properly cooked as well and served with tasty cream zucchini and mash potato ! To finish I tried the cream caramel, simple but efective !Great for value since I paid 128$ for this 3 course menu.I will be back again for sure continue reading

I went to Pastis on the beckoning of a good friend of mine who wanted to meet up before she had to go back to working as a school teacher again. I initially declined as I had work and that I would only be able to have lunch some place that was close by. Luckily, another friend of mine who was also joining us recommended Pastis as it was closer to both our working locations.I was the last one to arrive and going up the long escalator had left me especially hungry, so it was a good thing my friend helped take my order for me through the phone while I was on the way. There weren't too many people there at the time and it didn't take long before I was served the first of the lunch course I ordered: Roasted Beetroot Soup with Creme Fraiche.I won't pretend to know what was in that soup exactly, but it was creamy and rather filling  enough even without the bread that was also served alongside the meals. Shortly after I had finished the soup, I was served the main course I had ordered: Roasted Duck Breast, Green Beans and Sauteed Potatoes with Orange Sauce. Now, I have no idea what exactly they put in that orange sauce but it was simply divine. It went well with the medium-rare roasted duck meat it was paired off with and was altogether a pleasant surprise to the palette in contrast to the savoury soup I was first served with. The memory alone is simply mouthwatering. All in all, even though I decided not to take either of the two options of coffee or dessert as a third course, everything else was proportioned well enough to satisfy my hunger and accomplished more so in impressing me. It saddens me somewhat to know that Pastis changes their lunch menu every week, but if the other menus are anything like the one I had that day, I wouldn't hesitate going back for another meal. continue reading

從公司走來Pastis 實在是有點遠,不過幸好我們都願意走,才吃到很好吃的午餐。Pastis真的好小,是典型法國Bistro 的格局,寫氛輕鬆寫意。 因為是小店,pastis 只有兩款午餐可揀,所以訂位前最好先查查菜單是否合閣下的口味啊。午餐菜單會放到它的facebook專頁,菜式每星期都會轉一轉的。今次我們碰上的是吞拿魚沙律/蘑菇湯+海鱸魚/烤鴨胸 HK$108; 若加飲品/甜品 就HK$128。沒想到一星期之內竟吃了兩碗蘑菇湯。在le Fluer 吃的時侯已經覺得那碗蘑菇湯水準很不賴,但Pastis的蘑菇湯要好飲很多! 除了了味道更鮮菇味更重質地更杰之外,那個熱度呀是有點燙口,這才是喝湯的精髓所在嘛。我是第一次覺得此物真的很好食。以往吃的鴨胸大概都是有後製過,味道和雞肉腸都有點似,肉質硬硬的,如同嚼蠟。這碟呢,鴨胸肉呈淡粉紅色,肉質非常柔軟;皮有點脆脆的,一點肥脂都沒有,不可能不把它吃掉! 一份鴨胸其實份量很大,應該都有接近10片吧。醬汁的橙味只是隱隱約約的,吃不出薑味,但淡淡酸mei mei 的味道好滋味! 配菜也很精彩。烤薯甜甜的加香草調味,當然好吃。那豆呢,大部份是焯了就上碟,顏色翠綠而口感較脆;有三份一份顏色帶點微黃,吃下去有點酸味,是稍微漬醃過吧。都很好吃呢。清碟了,真的好飽啊!友人的海鱸魚Pan Fried Seabass Fillet w/ Mash Green Pea & Confit Tomato 也非常精彩。外出吃魚一怕不新鮮二怕over-cooked, 煎得好的魚其實也幾難求。試了一口海鱸魚,肉質實淨,非常新鮮,而且魚肉依然夠滑,無得彈。Mash green pea 青豆口味重可能未必人人喜愛,但的確是壓得幼滑,也比薯蓉來得light 一點。放棄飲品,來個是日甜品vanilla panna cotta with cherries。雲尼拿味很濃,奶味很香,也很甜(有點太甜了) ! 雖然很滑,但質地很實噢不太像平時吃的軟滑panna cotta。最後吃剩了一點真不好意思…友人的飲品也很好的。特別是那個ice lemon tea,店家不是只放幾片檸檬給你,而是把大量檸檬汁揸出來,和茶放入shaker 混好才奉客! 朋友說就真好酸啊,相信會很消膩啦。 continue reading
