晌美孚想食粥,除咗彬記(最初搬嚟美孚時佢叫彬記,後尾轉咗怡園,依家又叫番彬記)、一粥麵(年幾前新開,食過,一般般),比較穩定又近我哋啲有「海皇」,所以,不時都有幫襯,但寫就好少寫,今次,就因為試咗佢哋嘅粢飯,先寫番次。 餐廳環境就唔多寫,都喺好一般嘅快餐店格局,勝在夠光猛、整潔,不過,今朝卻喺比預期少客,可能唔喺返工、返學日子,所以,個場都幾清靜。 之前嘅餐牌一大本咁,今之後嚟到就一張紙過,除咗早餐,仲有其他餐喺全日供應,如出前一丁餐、粢飯餐、銀針粉餐。 南瓜粟米肉碎粥配蒸蘿蔔糕 $34話時話,老婆對呢一款粥都幾情有獨鍾,無正式統計,但印象中好幾次都喺佢,都喺貪其有南瓜跟粟米,將兩者打到蓉嚟煲粥,喺幾香嘅,南瓜味又幾突出,粥底夠綿滑,今次啲肉碎又俾得幾多。淨食粥佢都話夠晒飽,加埋配蒸蘿蔔糕添,所以,最後都由小弟包底,至於啲蘿蔔糕,都幾足料,蘿蔔味頗香,內裡食到一絲絲蘿蔔絲,頗清甜,夾雜少少蝦米,唔錯。榨菜肉鬆粢飯配豆漿 $22件粢飯包得幾實淨,拎上手都好墜手,中間亦包咗好多榨菜、肉鬆同油炸鬼,份量算好足秤,味道鹹鹹香香,啲飯粒又夠黏糯,幾好食喎。雖然可以加錢轉其他飲品,不過,飲豆漿味仲健康,又有營養,再者,豆味濃郁,真喺唔失禮。今早兩公婆嘅早餐簡簡單單,但勝在夠飽肚又健康嘛,加埋食完之後又行轉短山上馬騮山,悠閒寫意幾好呀! continue reading

本身打算叫deliveroo,點知菜單無炒米粉,於是去foodpanda搵,結果有,所以就叫咗foodpanda。只係有d奇怪,同一間鋪,點解兩個菜單有出入。菜脯蝦米炒米粉,菜脯有d多,米粉好食。燒賣一般。菜乾排骨粥比較清,唔係好食到米粒,但味道還可。推薦蝦米腸粉,堅好食。油炸鬼來到仲好脆,正。 continue reading

Hello everyone, it's a rainy day today and I have stumbled upon the Ocean Empire, a lovely congee shop in Meifoo. I expected lots from the name of this shop, and what I got from it is nothing short of my expectations.I ordered a bowl of Ocean Empire Congee, a chicken rice, and fried you tiao. For the congee, it definitely lived up to its name as the signiture dish of the chef. The congee is soft(綿)without being too soggy. It's like eating fluffy clouds with the seafood of shrimps and fish and squid in the cloud. This dish is the emperor of the Ocean Empire and is available for just $35. This is a deal to be had. Or as you guys call it 價廉物美. Now for the fried youtiao. At first glance, this is just a piece of fried dough chopped into small pieces, I have no idea why you guys like it so much. So, like any idiot, I decided to order it. It was worth the risk of my $10. The dough tasted like crunchy fries from mcdonalds, whilst not being very salty, unlike mcdonalds fries you do not have to drink a resorvoir of water after you eat it. I am kinda pissed that no one told me it tasted this good, I should have ordered it years ago. This is the chicken rice. If I had to choose which to rank last in this magnificent restaurant, this, unfortunately, is my pick(sorry chicken, you will forever be remembered). The reason this is last is not because it tasted terrible, but because it contains my worst enemy:Salt. If all the dishes were elements of the Ocean, this would be the salt that makes Ocean saline. A great stablizer and helps balances life, but not the best in taste. If you homies like salty foods, then look no further than this dish. Only those who have acheived level 3 in salt eating should eat this. Personally, I will need to level up. Overall, this restaurant did live up to its name as the Ocean Empire. 100% would reconmend, just be cautious of the saline waters of the ocean and you'd be fine. 好耐冇食炸兩,故特登改變路線,早餐時間去左美孚的海皇粥店。本來在openrice 見早餐時段有銀針粉供應,但去到現場睇完個餐牌2次,是沒有的,咁算啦,叫粥餐。話說因為想食炸兩而去,但粥餐組合沒有併炸兩的,如果單叫一個粥加一份炸兩的價錢,跟叫粥餐再加10蚊配炸兩差不多。雖然覺得應該食唔晒,都叫左早餐時段既碎牛粥併蝦米腸,再加10蚊配炸兩。阿姐落完單,好落力sell餐廳會籍,不過我不是經常食既,無謂要個會籍。阿姐走左,我先睇番張單,點解唔見左份炸兩?? 算啦,可能我落order講得唔夠清楚阿姐聽唔到,或者阿姐見我應該食唔落咁多野自動skip左。碎牛粥及蝦米腸食落正常,普普通通咁啦。再講番入座經歷,入門口阿姐提我量體温後,叫我自己揀位。在場食客唔多,但可能因為有不少食客剛食完,好多枱未執,我基本上只可以在1張2人枱及1張4人枱上選擇,本身諗住1個人用張2人枱算啦,唔好阻人做生意,但張2人枱下面地下有灘水,行到埋去真係唔想坐,最終去左4人枱。落完order,有個阿姐執隔離枱,抹枱好求其囉,我都係拿拿臨食完走啦。 continue reading
