在尖沙咀的樓上鋪, 好似有另一間分店專做私房菜的.座位有室內同室外的選擇, 雖然室外環境不錯,但大熱天還是選坐室內.假期晚上,居然只得兩枱客, 好奇它到底怎樣維持生計? 設有套餐, 但組合全是前菜, 只包括一客主菜. 價錢分兩種, 約$170 /位, 或260/位. (兩位起). 對套餐興趣不大, 選擇散叫.芝麻芥辣茄子 (前菜)---- 味道一般, 份量少.冰梅蕃茄(前菜)---- 之前有食評話好, 但真係唔覺有咩特別, 好普通的蕃茄, 唔係好值咁既價錢 .柚子雞翼(小食) ----- 好奇怪, 柚子雞翼但竟然有南乳味? 好彩味道都OK.薑蛋白炒飯---炒飯都算粒粒分明, 味道都唔錯.炸子雞--- 幾好味, 皮脆肉嫩. 南乳燒骨----有驚喜, 南乳味不算太重, 肉肥瘦適中,肉汁鮮味. 值得一試. 甜品唔吸引, 同好似略貴, 所以無叫.總括來講, 服務同環境都算唔錯. 但食物味道質素只屬一般, 定價相對地略貴, 同一價錢在尖咀可以有很多其他選擇. continue reading

記起這裡的舊址是一間叫"嗎哪"的西日fusion餐廳,食物水準還算可以的,只可惜過了一陣子後便漸被遺忘繼而遭受淘汰。接着來上場的,便是這間主打中西混合菜,同樣是有點fusion意味的半私房菜館....說這兒是"私房"的原因是這餐廳其實是分開兩部份的 ---- 如您在訂座時聲明是吃私房菜的話,那便要由湊夠六個人或以上才叫得;另一部份則容許接walk-in散客的。我們一家三口,當然便要散叫了....打開餐牌睇睇,橫豎看來都是叫個二人套餐比較化算。若小友食不飽,出到外頭再買些東西給他吃就行....說這兒是"中西fusion菜"也不是沒有道理的 ---- 光是看那八小碟的擺放及奉客模式,就跟西式的amuse bouche有點相類....八款小吃有素有葷,味道紛陳,亦算頗多元化的....冰梅蕃茄酸梅汁酸咪咪的確甚醒胃,與清新的鮮茄固之然很相配。不過缺點便是掌勺的在處理蕃茄時倒是較粗心大意,連鮮茄那中心帶硬的部位都保留了下來,這無論從外觀以至味道上也打了個不少的折扣....京式牛展牛展肉縱然切得薄如紙,但吃起來還是覺又嚡又韌,而且只是一味的鹹,所謂"京式"的特點真不曉得從何而來....石榴三層肉只恕小弟不才,未能吃得出這三層肉是甚麼東西,只感到有點像雞肉。這肉配上了一個帶甜酸的醬汁再與蕃石榴同吃,實是一道極夏日feel的開胃小吃....秘製涼伴麻辣茄子又是另一道適合盛暑底下吃的前菜。茄子只是沒加調味的蒸熟,味道當然沒啥特別,關鍵乃在於那麻辣醬 --- 質地是頗稠身且芝麻味夠香濃。用來配茄子或是其他菜蔬類,都是美味....鴛鴦蝦多士自己也真的夠混帳,同樣是未能猜到何解這份看及吃起來都像是普通蝦多士的東西要加上"鴛鴦"二字。我想不知這是否與加入了綠色菜碎的蝦膠層,睇上來一紅一綠有點關係呢 ? 多士本身炸時略嫌油一些,蝦膠亦不夠鮮及彈牙....黃金涼瓜說起上來,這一系列的小吃也屬頗有夏天氣息的時令嘢。講起夏天當造的瓜菜,當然少不了一道涼瓜。被稱為"黃金"之蛋黃能均勻黏在涼瓜上而沒散在碟上,掌勺的也算是有點功夫;涼瓜是真的夠爽又夠甘苦。除了先前的茄子以外,這味是第二道做得不俗的小碟....蜜方雞中翼雞翼是偏瘦削一點,肉很嚡很乾欠缺肉汁;此外由於下得太多蜜糖之關係,基本上甜味是盡蓋雞肉應有之醃味。若血糖偏高的話,此物絕對是嚴禁放進口肚子裡的....沙律蝦球一看賣相便知這蝦是一早炸定後被攤涼了 ---- 外層的粉漿固之然不脆之餘且是又濕腍兼發漲;蝦肉是淡而無味亦欠了鮮爽.;沙律醬只是求其擠了一小點放在粉漿上...真的很不知所謂.....八小碟過後,再來便是一小盅的節瓜豬展湯。呷一口,竟發覺是一點味也沒有的 ?! 難道先前的百味紛陳後影響了舌頭的敏感度 ? 不憤氣下再飲一啖,結果仍是如此....Oh My God....雖說沒味精是好,但也不至於連最基本的鹽也沒下吧....湯料方面雖謂用上了豬展,但我看則只是用了極普通的煲湯瘦肉,咬落是韌得不得了....正在納悶之時,幸好兩道主食算也是做得還可以,令整個飯局不至於全軍覆沒。南瓜龍利柳的擺碟甚見心思,風格頗為與西菜相近 ---- 以龍利柳卷入切成幼條的芹菜、南瓜、雞柳及本菇,再復以淋上一個以南瓜蓉煑成的醬汁,入口清新可喜;龍利肉本身有底味,肉質嫩滑;唯一要彈乃是切條南瓜稍嫌硬了一些,而南瓜汁也略淡。不過從健康的角度來看,這道菜若是味調得太鹹的話,那就好像令它失去了唯一的特色了....南乳蒜香骨的外層炸得雖略油膩一些,不過南乳味則蠻突出,而且選的排骨又是呈半肥的,食落有滑溜感且帶微微甜,絕對是送飯佳品。最後來的是back to basic的炒菜心。爽嫩程度很不錯的,只是份量太少了....太太一路忙着照顧反斗的小友,根本無暇欣賞,不過她也倒算是個愛吃亦懂吃之人。她說若以差不多每位二百大洋的價錢消費計算,食物能做得比這裡好得多的地方,可謂俯拾皆是...對此,我深有同感.... continue reading

經朋友介紹去到呢間餐廳用膳,打電話去訂檯先發現原來佢地有兩間,個接線生話【拾貳坊】係食私房菜但必須要6位起,另外一間就叫【拾貳坊‧庭園】可以WALK IN 散叫,由於我都係得3個人,所以就去【拾貳坊‧庭園】試下先~個Outdoor面對九龍公園既樹景,而且好寧靜,同繁囂既海防道相映成趣好岩傾計飲酒啊~食物好精緻,搞到我都忍唔住影番D相前菜 (凍): 冰梅鮮茄( 外形好靚啊,味道甜甜酸酸 , 好開胃) 花彫雞(原來係一件件JELLY,食落去酒味不太濃,清清地,口感似有還無,但勝在夠特別,值得一試) 萵荀餃子(外面係萵荀,裡面係火鴨絲,外面清爽,裡面濃味) < 我最喜歡食呢個!主菜 : 炸子雞(皮好脆!) 梅糕骨(好入味,同埋食個時要小心,真係好熱!) 薑米蛋白炒飯(超有鑊氣,一放落檯,已經聞到香味!)甜品 : 木瓜雪耳糕(係木瓜雪耳糖水,但造成固體狀,好特別!) 紅豆湯圓MOUSSE(紅豆沙+忌廉,已經夠創新,而“湯圓”仲要係豆漿奶凍,真係估唔到!) 總括黎講,呢間餐廳既食物偏清淡,雖然選擇唔多,但係每一道菜都很有心思,淨係見佢地食物賣相就知道!而且服務亦值得加許的,我對佢地既發問佢地都耐心一一解釋,helpful and friendly Staff! continue reading

I had a gathering with 3 very good friends and wanted to try something different, thus reading from another magazine's recommendation, we wanna try this private kitchen out. We reserved for ourselves a set dinner which features almost numerous number of dishes, all the names are absolutely impressive and mouth-watering. When we had the 1st 6 cold dishes, which almost 3 of them are super sweet: I personally cannot stand sweet taste too much....OK, i waited for the other 6 cold dishes. It's all pretty bland seafood like abalone, shell fish and aubergine wtih very thick sesame paste and there is this amazingly sweet tofu dish which uses orange juice and sugar I suppose, OH NO. Not enticing. Then came a hot friend crab toast which became a delight coz it's finally something hot. Soo much wait we are finally being serviced some hot dishes, the soup is not quite right, it's just chicken soup and some vege? OK, there is this fried crab, and then fried fish fillet, and also fried chicken. The chef loves frying food. And finally we have another pre-fried ribs. My heavenly dish finally arrived, green Choy Sum and mushroom in clear broth, I can cry now. And it wrapped with friend rice with truffle...er. I don't really like truffle. And we are daring enough to check out the dessert, it's steamed egg white, it's super super super sweet but smooth. I am sure people who have sweet tooth would appreciate it.I wanna strangle myself for spending $350 at somewhere I don't enjoy and some food I don't and couldn't eat.
