今年無得去旅行,唯有襯黃兔生日來過stay cation房價包了這間餐廳dinner,所以今餐不清楚大概價錢,衹知道是中上價錢及有加一收費。餐廳佈置充滿歐陸風格。我們被安排坐窗口位,但可能餐廳位於低層關係,景觀一般。晚餐包4個course,首先上了一籃面包,配意大利陳醋+橄欖油。面包略硬,不夠鬆軟,又不太香,有點可惜我們多數選了每個course 每樣一款,可以share食Frist course三文魚他他 - 賣相吸引有滿滿一杯的三文魚粒及三文魚籽酸酸甜甜味道清新意大利雜菜湯 - 湯料壓成一個圓餅型,上枱時再將湯倒入碟中,再放上面包粒。湯有香濃芝士味及蕃茄味。好好飲Second course(同黃兔都喜歡食蟹,所以揀了同款菜式)阿拉斯加蟹腳肉直通粉 - 蟹肉比想像中多,通粉口感煙韌彈牙,是我食過最好的通粉醬汁微辣的好開胃,但又沒有蓋過鮮甜的蟹味,非常好食Third course香煎比目魚 - 賣相不錯魚皮及魚2邊煎得香脆可口但魚肉還保留了嫰滑口感,配上青豆蓉食好夾,可去油膩感香烤安格斯牛柳 - 賣相不凡牛柳好香嫰,配上紅酒汁提升了牛肉味道,連配菜都好好味Forth course士多啤梨千層酥 - 賣相靚千層酥好鬆脆,吉士不會太甜,配上士多啤梨好味意大利芝士蛋糕 - 同出面食的有所不同,略嫌面層太多cream,雖然下層蛋糕吸收了咖啡同酒的香味,可借cream蓋過了飯後送上4小甜點作結尾,花生朱古力同檸檬軟糖好味,其他款式味道就一般。我以stay cation價錢評分這次晚餐,所以覺得都性價比高的。 continue reading

平日食lunch 黎過幾次,亦試過Saturday brunch,質素不錯,是信心的保証,一直想來吃經典的Sunday brunch,於是疫情好轉一點就來了。星期日的brunch 分兩輪,我們吃的是第一輪,人均約 938 +10%, 不算便宜,但星期日的早午餐是跟Brasserie on the Eigth 聯合一起的,感覺會更多選擇更豐盛,所以期望也更高。 我們故意訂Nichollini’s 因為這邊的景觀更好,座位也更舒適。11時多來到已經很多客人,香檳是free flow 的,但全不夠冰,大概是隨便放進雪櫃雪一下便拿出來,放進冰桶內不夠5分鐘又忙著為客人添飲,溫度一喝大概都是10多度,酸度明顯提高,不好喝。環顧四周人人的香檳都是放著的便知道了。幸好我跟侍應提出要求後他們很快便更正,服務算不錯。再講食物,所有餐牌上的食物都是任點任吃的,這個很好。先來一客海鮮…. 一吃便出事,是我在香港吃過的自助餐裏最難的的。一點味道也沒有,不要說鮮味,就連海水味或丁點的咸味也沒有,感覺像吃橡膠。我跟我的朋友真的吃了一次便算了…. 原不想再點,但還是再點了第二盤,只點龍蝦看看如何….. 結果一樣,是橡膠。 出去看看其他食物, 意式頭盤也有平日的水準,但去到刺身跟壽司便連旺角的中下壽司店也不如,只有最普通的貨色如三文魚及下價的赤身等,建議不要浪費quota。再看看其他…. 原來冷盤已沒有什麼好吃,不出10分鐘已要攻熱葷了。可惜熱盤選擇也不多,沒有小菜,只有乳豬以及填鴨較吸引,味道也不錯,可惜乳豬切出來的脆皮帶著大塊肥膏,而北京填鴨是用斬燒味的方式切,大隻超多肉而最好吃的皮只有一丁點,所以吃了一次便算。再看看自助區,只剩下中式點心跟麵食了。中式點心中規中矩,麵食可選意大利麵及雲吞等,味道不錯,但我付出一千多元吃早午餐不會只想吃這些呀!之後再點了餐牌上的主食,也是任吃,但味道真的很一般,像egg benedict,差不多全熟的蛋下只有幾條菠菜,其實你可以搭上三文魚或火腿,味道立即好很多,也不貴,不知為什麼連這樣都不做,可想而知這家餐廳的做早午餐的誠意真的很一般。我們吃了一轉主菜便沒有點了,因為真的不好吃。當連牛扒這麼簡單的菜式也沒有味道的時候你便會放棄了。甜品不過不失,個人覺得自家製雪糕很不錯,芝士也很好。總括而言,這個價位的早午餐選擇還是有很多的,當然近年酒店做brunch 己買少見少,但還是有餐廳做得很出色。這裏的早午餐質素是想像不到的下滑,可說是近年香港吃過最難吃的brunch, 怪不得從前月月爆滿的情況已不復再,Brasserie on the eigth 已有一半空枱。當近幾個月疫情好轉後周圍餐廳都爆滿並且需要一個月前訂枱的情況下,你可以想像這裏難吃的程度。對這類的食物評價是真心的,只想其他人不要中伏。說的是早午餐而已,並不代表平日午餐或晚餐的質素,因為之前吃過還是可以的(不知道有沒有下滑)。報告完畢。 continue reading

星期六訂咗一晚staycation,我哋住58/F,景觀開揚冇得頂,一入房就見到攞咗隻熊仔、水果同朱古力喺度。呢次包咗4餐,首先3pm有下午茶,原本話係tea set,點知去到變咗buffet,賣相打咗折扣,仲只係得7款食物選擇,味道好一般😒 之後5pm原本仲有餐evening cocktail,不過佢話食啲嘢都係差唔多,所以直接skip咗呢餐🤣到8pm就去Nicholini食意大利餐,好彩呢餐水準好好多,啲嘢真係幾好食😋 4個course,我覺得最好味係個白汁螺絲粉同鯛魚。個螺絲粉好creamy同好香芝士味,個鯛魚外皮脆卜卜,但魚肉仍然可以keep到軟嫩😋 反而甜品就一般般!另一樣扣分嘅係佢哋helpdesk嘅態度,其實我只係整濕咗隻拖鞋打去想問佢攞多一對,佢就話房裡面已經有兩對,又乜又乜咁,唉😮‍💨 算喇!唔俾就算,唔想同佢嘈!其實客人要求好簡單,見面打個招呼,俾少少笑容,俾啲禮貌,俾啲主動,俾啲幫忙就OK!總括嚟講,呢次到訪整體感覺一般啦,所以俾70分! continue reading

A Tuscan summer tale is the menu of the month for Nicholini’s.... It has all my favorite food in there - red prawn, crab pasta and pigeon!!!! Why not ?Gambero Rosso - not jumbo size but cooked just right. Nothing beats the natural sweetness of the red prawn.Spaghetti Alaskan crab, Bottarga, sage - just the right portion, refreshing !Tuscan pigeon, foie gras, summer mushroom - meat was cooked to perfection !Tiramisu as the sweet ending !With the discount from credit card, it was great meal at reasonable price! 訂左package staycation, 其中包 Nicholini 4道菜晚餐!個氣氛超好,暗暗地,枱與枱有一定距離,傾偈唔會嘈到隔離,樓底高,雖然係睇得出好耐歷史,啲傢俬擺設都舊,但都好有懷舊味嘅。4道菜有三文魚他他、虎蝦長通粉、西冷(主菜都有魚揀)、同甜品(佢每道菜都有二揀一)仲有個前菜小食同麵包。個人覺得個西冷非常唔錯,三成熟,上碟個顏色好靚,好有牛味,而個甜品我揀左雪糕蛋糕(掛住食唔記得影),好清新開胃,仲整得好靚添。食得出用料靚,廚師功架好,擺盤唔錯,係覺得個麵包可以好啲,整體上呢樣失色啲。以package嚟講,性價比算幾好。 continue reading
