A satisfactory Japanese lunch with great hospitality as you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Ingredients featured on the menu are not the most premium, they’re all delicate and delicious but lacking the wow factor.Restaurant week menu $950Two appetizers were refreshing, light and intricate. The sashimi medley is like a seafood summer in a jar featuring Hokkaido hairy crab and a selection of diced sashimi, tasted so refreshing. The second dish served in a bamboo was a silky fresh soya skin highlighted the natural flavor of soy contrasted with the rich sea urchin bursted with umami. The small fish platter comprised of a gorgeous tuna belly, delicate flounder sashimi and a seared Spanish mackerel. The two hot dishes were both cooked in wraps (hence both involved a reveal 👀), tilefish in salt kiln and a wagyu beef Suki-Shabu, both beautifully executed but were quite forgettable in terms of flavor. A total of 6 sushi were served, each flavored with a tailored dressing to complement the unique flavor of the pairing seafood. Especially impressed with the citrusy sauce with the rosy rockfis. 前幾日特別日子,又費事出街食,搜尋咗好耐,最終決定叫平時都會食嘅Nadaman 🍱 。本身都有啲擔心,外賣返嚟水準會唔會有參差,好彩色香味俱全,包裝得都好靚,完全冇失禮!包裝嘅木盒本身有用日式方法包裝好,好有拆禮物嘅感覺,可惜木盒上面有少少豉油漬便當打開後,原本擔心會唔夠食,「八」宮格入面份份到好似好細好精緻,不過睇真啲,原來左下角鰻魚下面全部都係飯,最後其實食唔晒 🤓🤓大致上都好好食,特別係牛肉(睇返Menu我估係和牛)入口即溶,不過整體來講,入面嘅菜式同Menu有啲分別,介意嘅朋友最好問清楚 continue reading

趁着母親節假期,日常灘萬的午餐。收費以香格里拉酒店的名牌及地點來說是很親民甚至是偏低,但食物水平是一般已,但絕不是差,相對價格來說也是金鐘一線的好選擇!很需要改善的反而是配套服務,單是用不鏽鋼的茶餐廳茶壺沖茶已經有點刺眼,加上部份座位角度可以看通不甚整齊的服務櫃檯下層,更甚是那些廉價黑油漆,與料理的用心佈置格格不入,但員工的態度是有善,服務到位,但一眾服務員似乎互相溝通過多,加上地方很寛廣,所以用餐氣氛變得冷冰,客人不再是焦點,但酒店業這麼多個月受疫情影響,很多事情也只能如此了。 continue reading

Restaurant week ... I have been to different Nadaman in Asia (it’s at maybe every Shangri-la), my favorite one is HK (Admiralty) one. The chef have well thought thru the menu with his unique and authentic condiment. It doesn’t need extravagant and overly creative blend of ingredients, it’s the simple ones bringing a refreshing tastebuds that makes it a good experience. 😊😊 Nadaman will become my regular. continue reading
