I found this shop from Thai blogger. He said liver congee is the best so I must to try.This shop located on 3rd floor in Fa Yuen market. It's very very local that I like.I order pork ball and liver with congee. It's very smooth look like rice soup, good smell, cheap price. Staff very very nice. 😋 continue reading

中午突然想吃粥,在google搜了一下附近除了好旺角還有什麼好店,而且要有油炸鬼吃的,就找到了這家。🍴.『妹記生滾粥品』以街市的熟食中心來講,一碗粥要$36算不便宜,粥底棉滑很甜。油炸鬼$11才辣麼一點點... 而且不夠脆丫丫丫( ´•︵•` ),唯一是預先切開了就方便食用。. continue reading

I love the ambience, tourists and locals eating together above the massive wet market building at the corner of Fa Yuen and Mong Kok roads. The juk here is smooth, with little trace of rice grains, and a balanced broth, lightly salted compared to normal stalls. Ingredients are king here, with ultra fresh carp belly and pork liver in my bowl. Old fashioned delights like hot boiled coke with lemon are a treat. It’s not that different from a thousand other congee places in Kowloon, but there are subtle details that make this place a stand out. continue reading
