9月某日我哋一家人去咗 Moti palace 珍珠皇宮印度餐廳食晚餐,去前兩日喺 openrice 網上訂座,當日去到重慶大廈入口老闆已經迎接問我係咪訂咗位,帶我哋上去餐廳,其他店員亦好友善地遞上清水。落單時店員表示鐵板菜式可以揀唔辣,我哋點咗 6 碟。Tandoori Platter 混合肉拼盤Chicken Do Pyaza 香料洋葱無骨雞Jeera Rice 印式洋香飯Baigan Bhartha 蒜蓉烤茄子蓉炒洋葱蕃茄Masala Dosa 瑪撒拉香料捲餅Tomato Uttapam 辣茄汁班戟老人家話要食肉,我哋兩個食素,呢道可以搵到大家啱食嘅嘢。一件小事就係 Masala Dosa 漏單直至再次提問先至入單即做,不過都好快有得食。個人推介 Masala Dosa 同埋 Tomato Uttapam 兩款南印度菜式,都好香溢可口。由於事前並冇諗住要寫食評所以一張相都冇影到,但係覺得值得推介所以上嚟支持良心香港人食店。😋👍🏾老闆話同層行過兩間舖 Swagat 華達印度餐廳都係佢同人夾份做,之前食過兩次,行過都可以試下。 continue reading

去重慶大廈食咖哩,唔只係食,仲係一種體驗。一入到去商場會有印度哥哥仔好熱情咁帶你上去餐廳。餐廳喺商場嘅一樓,所以唔使搭lift,行樓梯再行到盡頭就會見到。就如其他印度餐廳一律樣,上菜前佢哋會先奉上羅望子汁同埋薄荷汁嘅薄脆。同行者唔食辣,於使我叫咗一份butter chicken、一份椰汁蝦同兩份蒜蓉naan餅。蒜蓉naan餅,一上枱蒜蓉嘅香味就撲鼻來。Kulfi係一款甜品,大概係加咗藏紅花嘅杏仁雪糕,撞紅花本身係紅色,但一浸水就會令水變成金黃色所以加咗藏紅花嘅雪糕都會變成金黃色。佢嘅冰粒感比較重,唔會好似Gelato嗰種軟滑。面會淋上玫瑰糖漿,單簧管堂相有啲似洗手間香精,我就覺得唔落仲好。另外Masala tea比較貼近香港口味,只係薑味比較重,其他香料落得唔多。整體來講唔錯,價錢都唔貴,可以再嚟。 continue reading

The first day in October was Chinese Moon Festival. It was a public holiday in Hong Kong. I decided to go to Chungking Mansion and try out Indian Food with my wife and son. We choose Indian restaurant from time to time, but this was the first time we went to Chungking Mansion.I searched over Google first and selected Moti Palace and booked via Openrice. The restaurant was not busy tonight. We ordered samosa as starter, half portion of Tandoori chicken, grilled lamb chop, prawn masala for main course. Lamb soup is our favorite and we ordered one bowl for each. Food was good in quality and delicious. The chicken and lamb were juicy and tender, and the food temperature was just right. Prawn masala was also good. The prawns were big and meaty but the sauce was a bit salty. The lamb soup was not as good as we would like. It was a bit salty and sour. I told the manager that we would prefer the soup to be more spicy and thinner, but less salty and sour. Some years ago, we had lamb soup at the "Gaylord" when it was still at Ashley Road. We were much impressed by the balanced taste with mixture of herbs. However lamb soup is not served at the new Gaylord Restaurant.We had Gulab Jamun and Indian ice cream for desserts. We enjoyed both. At the end, I ordered masala tea which is my favorite. I hope the ginger taste can be stronger.We would certainly come back to Moti for meals in future. continue reading

今次第一次去呢間店試吓。事關好多食評話佢掂。我又stay nearby hotel so must try and good comment from others. I went with lover and booking at OpenRice before so get 25% off.Our dishes as Tandoori chickencurry Lamb, Nan bread , mango lassi. Unexpected the size of dishes pretty large and the tandoori really taste good. So my lover hope to try whole chicken next time.the day afterwards I called food panda as almond chicken and the sauce very very creamy and my dad love it. I order 4 different Nan bread as garlic, butter , minced lamb and cheese all tasted fair and discount 40% over $100 at food panda take away by self.好食底食 Nice to meet boss Jacky and he sent us dessert . 已經第2次黎重慶大廈食印度菜,啱啱食完冇幾耐就想enchore。今次就試第2間餐廳,入去冇耐就有人指路同帶你去間餐廳。可能因為差唔多4點去食,成間餐廳得我地呢枱客。如果第一次試印度菜都唔洗擔心唔知揀咩食好,店員都好主動會同你講下有咩多人叫,又睇下你口味例如食唔食得辣推介d菜俾你。我地叫左都好多人會食既芝士波菜,牛油雞,咖哩角,仲有一定唔少得既烤餅,因為選擇困難所以要曬芝士同蒜蓉2隻味。野飲方面就要左杯印度奶茶同芒果奶昔。咖哩角啱啱炸好熱辣辣淨係個皮都好好食,入面會有薯仔同豆,冇肉但比起平時食果d咖喱角係好食好多,上次食過已經覺得係必食既野。😋芝士炒波菜第一次食可能會有d驚訝,你唔會見到一條條菠菜而係一碗綠色既醬咁,中間有d白色一粒粒應該係芝士既野,同烤餅一齊食係勁好味同食極唔厭。個牛油雞既味都幾驚喜,係帶d蕃茄味同小小小辣味, d雞粒都好嫩滑好入味,同烤餅一齊食又係一流。🤤烤餅方面個人就鐘意芝士味多d, 真係有幾濃既芝士味就咁食都好好味又好有口感,趁熱食勁香口。杯印度奶茶如果冇試過係幾值得一試,飲得出係有薑,肉桂等等香料既味,就算本身未必鐘意呢d味既人都好易入口係唔錯既嘗試。成餐飯既份量對兩個女仔真係多左d非常之飽, 下次都係唔好太貪心叫番一種烤餅應該都夠😂全部菜我地都好滿意,店員服務態度同重慶大廈d人都勁nice,真係好值得去試下!記得OpenRice book位仲會有折😍 continue reading
