早前幸運的在IG Giveaway中得到一盒中秋口味限定的馬卡龍禮盒,領奬前先到近年火紅的冰室果腹,留意了小店好一陣子,今天終於能一償所願。 周日中午時份門口有一條小人龍,兩個人大約排了十五分鐘方能入座。小店座位約三十個,用餐時間為三十分鐘,每人至少要點一份食物/飲品。特濃蕃茄湯午餐肉粒通粉 $49 有坑紋的螺絲粉掛湯力較高,煮得不過稔,配上濃稠的蕃茄湯底和炸過的午餐肉,不錯。 4.3牛奶炒日本滑蛋配奶油脆豬(+$5) 蛋炒得嫩滑,惟蛋味略遜,比上不足比下有餘。眼見麥包多士不太特別,遂加錢將多士轉做脆豬;剛焗起的豬仔包外脆內軟,鹹香的牛油和甜滋滋的煉奶交融在上,每吃一口都感覺幸福。 滑蛋叉燒飯 $55 當初吸引我光臨就是這看似普通的碟頭飯,成品來到尚算吸引。蛋比剛才的嫩滑,不過飯粒偏乾,叉燒薄瘦且硬身,即使淋上有提味作用的甜豉油亦吃不出其特別過人之處。 除了那奶油脆豬比較出色以外,其餘的質素也只是平平,而其中一位較年長的女侍應亦予人一種拒諸門外的感覺,能走紅大抵是帶點幸運因素。

I took my friend from America here for lunch one time and now everytime he comes visit Hong Kong this resturant is a must and it’s become a ritual to have lunch here. Just be prepared for a wait. I would recommend you come earlier for lunch if possible. If you don’t know whether to order scrambled eggs with shrimp or char siu. I will recommend go for half and half!

在灣仔上班,lunch時間只有緊緊的1小時,好多時食lunch都好少選擇要排很久的餐廳。不過朋友好好,特意先早一點取號,到我到達餐廳時剛好有位,於是有機會一試頗有名的旺記滑蛋啦~我們都是點了餐牌中的滑蛋餐,我就試左滑蛋叉燒飯。蛋果然好滑而且比想像中厚身,自家製叉燒口感尚可,配上豉油的確是不錯,但個人覺得豉油有點多,食多幾口會覺得咸。建議豉油可以分開上,讓食客自行按自己口味落豉油。總體而言,滑蛋值得一試,有機會會再到旺記~
