The best thing about hiking in HK is that you always finish your hike eating good food.The scallops are super fresh. I assume they get them from the sea nearby. I especially like the seaweed soup. The seaweed apparently is taken from the beaches nearby. Deep fried squid is very nicely cooked!A perfect ending to our hike at Po Toi island

同豬先生尼到蒲台島睇風景,上午尼到行完一陣岩岩好lunch hour,揀左衣間餐廳食海鮮,假日雖然多人不過唔洗等叫左一個紫菜湯,一蝶蒜茸炒菜心同一條清蒸石蚌紫菜湯好大窩,係四人份量,兩個人叫可能會飲唔晒,不過豬先生夠大食我地清晒所有野,個湯好多料,除左紫菜,有蝦,肉絲,好好飲,紫菜份量非常多,兩個人如果叫湯可能叫多碟餸就夠炒菜心亦好大碟,不過就要成八十蚊魚係可以自己去揀,好大條同好新鮮,個鼓油做得好好,蒸得唔錯

朋友租公司船到蒲台島,因而沒有公眾船時間的限制。看著黃金色的夕陽,與朋友一起對著海吃海鮮餐,甚是享受。當中的紫菜湯,鮮甜極了,贏得我們一致讚賞。另一碟甚是令眾人另眼相看的是蒸魚。除了鮮味十足外,肉質彈牙結實。好吃極了!不太吃海鮮的朋友,可以吃可口的酸甜排骨。也不錯的啊!

今日我一餐,是到香港最南的蒲苔島,我會稱之為天意的一餐,XD,因為諗住無得上島,點知奇蹟出現,友人說天意,可上島^_^,基本上,成個島都是餐蛋面,得呢間有小菜,海鮮,但假日最低消費每人140,不過基本上一定過,今次叫了3餸1白飯1雪糕,白飯應是平分,但基本上我食大大半XD,友人只食50分1左右,每款小菜都唔錯,值得再去,因為全島別無它選XD

A couple of friends ordered for the table. The dishes worth recommending were calamari (encore twice), steamed scallops (encore once), steamed fish and fried rice with char siu and shrimp.

The batter for calamari was thin and crisp, and three dishes of them went down nicely. Since the seafood were fresh, steam cooking and light seasoning were just right to enhance the freshness.

The service was pretty good too, and you could easily see the difference between working for one self and working in a chain restaurant.

I'd visit again if I'm going for a hike on the island.

kc 兄之前試過唔鮮, 但今日又似ok 噃! 仲encore 左多一碟....

就咁食又唔覺太濃味, 粉也不太厚, 得噃.

蒸中鮑魚才是主打! 都唔細, 有豉油碟做個size 的 reference.

預早已來到,指定要坐在最出面的位置,慕求可以在最好的陽光及無敵海景下用膳。這裡沒有空調,但習習海風清涼無比,清新爽快,帶點海水的味道,感覺比任何空調還佳。剛行完山下來,人人汗流浹背,當然要找點消暑清涼劑來喝喝,一來三支青島,來的時候冰涼,但放了不一會又已變暖了,可見天氣是何等的炎熱。

之前與食友們談開來這裡吃,人人都推介一味椒鹽鮮魷,當然要一試。在餐牌見到還有另一味脆炸鮮魷,就來一款一碟。想吃龍蝦,但要20元一兩,不便宜,就就要了兩隻用上湯煮,再墊伊麵底。另外紫菜湯、炒蜆、蒸扇貝、生炒骨、炒菜芯及豉油王炒麵,六人吃,很豐富的了。

最期待的菜色先來,就是椒鹽鮮魷。絕對的是新鮮熱辣,吃起上來仍然酥化,但肉質不爽身,明顯是冷凍貨色而非新鮮貨。魷魚這東西,騙不得人,一不新鮮,一吃便知。脆炸鮮魷基本上與椒鹽鮮魷是類同,在這漁灣要吃冷凍貨,怎說也不會很滿意。

另一重頭戲是上湯焗龍蝦,因為是日沒有魚蝦蟹,最名貴的就是這一味了。龍蝦揀的時候是新鮮的,吃起來肉質卻不十分彈牙,收四百多元一碟,以這個食物水準來說,不算是很划算;

紫菜是蒲台島特產,來一碗紫菜湯,簡單清鮮,不錯不錯;扇貝要了一人一只,可惜豆豉味道只鹹不香,蒸起來連舖而的粉絲也變得不好吃,表現平平;也要了一碟炒蜆,但發現很多殼,卻極少肉,生炒骨都會好吃完全不對辦,甜酸芡汁又濃又杰又厚,看了也怕怕;豉油王炒麵炒得乾身,但明顯吃得到有味精的感覺,是唯一不好的地方。最後來幾件冰凍鮮甜的西瓜作結,是最適合的甜點。

老實說,這裡的食物水準只一般,可能是因為休漁期,選擇不多之餘,也多不是新鮮貨色。不過面對大自然美景,享受著涼風及隱透而來的和曦陽光,跟朋友們閒聊各樣有趣瑣事,轉眼吃了兩個小時,也是賞心樂事。

埋單一千二百九十,不便宜,但來蒲台島,又只此一家。或者可以這樣說,以後來蒲台島,少了一個大理由。

友人突然發起健康活動…當然要支持一下呢~所以今天就去到香港最南端的蒲台島行山…是日萬里無雲…風和日麗…中午我們就選了這裡作為我們的終點站…品嘗一下蒲台島的風味小菜…店內有七成都是外國人…應該都是坐遊艇和帆船來的…一行八個人叫了以下的食物~炒蜆 - 炒得很有鑊氣…豉椒汁味道亦很好~雖然吃得出是新鮮的~可惜蜆很小…而且差不多有一半都是殼…失望~蒜蓉炒菜心 - 菜心很大條…很甜…紫菜湯 - 除了紫菜, 還有蝦和肉絲…很清的一個湯…很有風味…紫菜的份量很多…感覺健康…菠蘿雞粒炒飯 -飯炒得夠乾,但又不會太油…同樣很有鑊氣而且粒粒分明…不會過鹹…豉油皇炒麵 - 同樣出色~不太鹹又不太油…麵很彈牙~加了韮黃很香…椒鹽排骨 - 沒什麼特別…骨很大所以沒什麼肉…可喜的是感覺不會很油膩…甜酸雞柳 - 我的感覺通常雞柳都是鞋的, 因為多數都是用雞胸肉…但這個雞柳在炸過之前依家很嫰滑…所以應該是用雞脾肉的~甜酸味道調配得恰到好處~很開胃…這個是全餐之中最值得推介的~炸魷魚 - 魷魚很鮮味…雖然炸漿不太厚, 但沒有那種酥脆的感覺….而且不太夠熱…配上甜酸醬…味道還可以~每人七十多~在蒲台島這個景色優美, 空氣

是日Boxing Day, 搭11:30船入蒲台島, 半個鐘便到達, 剛剛好食飯時間, 於是就去了全島唯一的海鮮酒家醫肚。對鐵皮屋狀又是唯一的「海鮮酒家」沒有太大期望, 但原來食物又很不錯!先來一碟椒鹽鮮魷, 跟平常吃的有點不同, 魷魚身比魷魚鬚多, 炸份很薄, 吃得出魷魚的爽脆, 醮甜酸汁吃很醒胃。再來是豉椒炒蜆, 中規中矩。焦點是豉油王中蝦一大斤, 每一隻蝦都如手掌般大, 重點是要用咀去脫蝦殼, 過程中吸啜了調味料配合蝦殼的精華, 比蝦肉還要好吃! 其實蝦肉亦不錯, 大大隻爽口彈牙, 隔離檯的老外食過番尋味, 還encore了2次!!其他菜都很好, 上湯浸豆苗清甜翠綠, 楊州炒飯亦很足料乾身。唯獨是西檸雞比較遜色, 檸汁味道還好, 但雞冇味, 粉太厚。6個人6味餸, 份量足, 大家食飽就往香港最南端出發!

先來一碟椒鹽鮮魷, 跟平常吃的有點不同, 魷魚身比魷魚鬚多, 炸份很薄, 吃得出魷魚的爽脆, 醮甜酸汁吃很醒胃。

再來是豉椒炒蜆, 中規中矩。

焦點是豉油王中蝦一大斤, 每一隻蝦都如手掌般大, 重點是要用咀去脫蝦殼, 過程中吸啜了調味料配合蝦殼的精華, 比蝦肉還要好吃! 其實蝦肉亦不錯, 大大隻爽口彈牙, 隔離檯的老外食過番尋味, 還encore了2次!!

其他菜都很好, 上湯浸豆苗清甜翠綠, 楊州炒飯亦很足料乾身。唯獨是西檸雞比較遜色, 檸汁味道還好, 但雞冇味, 粉太厚。

6個人6味餸, 份量足, 大家食飽就往香港最南端出發!

閒談中朋友介紹了這間明記,在赤柱乘搭三十分鐘小輪往蒲台島,票價來回四十,蒲台島是香港最南端的島嶼。在島上漫遊了個多小時,看過了古廟、奇石,甚麼烏龜上岸,老僧入定等,在午飯時份便來到明記。島上食肆不多,具規模的祇有這間明記,怎也想不到可筵開六十席。是日見到頗多旅行團在這裡開飯,一團接一團,待大團人走後,才有檯開飯,老板娘見我們人不多,便介紹了每人半邊上湯焗龍蝦,一條蒸魚,忘記了是甚麼魚,是他們剛在當天早上捉的,另點了一碟炒飯和炒菜,魚的味道奇鮮,非一般養魚可比,單是魚汁也可送兩碗白飯,龍蝦火候剛好,彈牙爽口,新鮮的材料配上好的廚藝,便成一餐美饌,炒飯炒菜也很夠鍋氣。老板娘明嬸平易近人,雖然年紀不輕,但每天仍親力親為,與其餘工友一起擔擔抬抬,永不言休,為我等晚輩學習偶象。這餐由友人做東,不便問幾錢,側聞價錢合理。下次自己曉來,試試其他海鮮。
