This place was tucked towards the back corner of the Tai Kwun compound. As expected there was a long queue but thankfully it moved pretty fast. From the menu we were  surprised to see a fusion item – the Beyond Meat scrambled egg crispy bun. I’d read about the Beyond Meat before and heard how it supposedly tastes indistinguishable from real meat. So we ordered the bun together with an iced milk tea. The bun came and it honestly just tasted like a scrambled egg bun. Crispy and tasty for sure, but there was no sign of the famed Beyond Meat. The ice milk tea was of course refreshing and as per usual Tsui Wah standard. Overall I’d say stick to ordering what you would at Tsui Wah, no point trying or paying a premium for fancy stuff outside their normal menu continue reading
