踏進金巴利道,映入眼簾的是篷頂下紅黃相間的斑斕彩燈和波浪形蓮花圖案的紗幔,令人對蓮香樓的食物引頸以待。從側門而進,就是地下一層。服務員禮貌周周,引導我們到樓上的雅座,並選定靠窗的一隅供我們安座。桌旁陳列三尊福祿壽佛像,是最佳的打卡熱點,讓人福氣滿溢。 坐在木椅上,十分安舒。服務員大飛向我們推介美食,殷勤至極。點菜後,我們便徒步下樓尋找美食。精美點心林林種種,令人垂涎。濃味黑椒牛肋肉、厚切咖喱魷魚是不二之選,其他點心也不在話下。一眾自家蒸製點心羅列桌上的轉盤,令人食指大動。 吃過點心頭盤,便開始享用正餐。先來的是推介的冬瓜盅,香氣襲來,加上清甜的湯水和柔綿的瓜肉,令人暑氣全消。服務員為我們舀湯上碗,再三添喝,待我們宛如上賓。古法金錢雞,進口即化,令人回味。黃金豆腐、蝦多士,外脆內軟,甚有層次。砵仔焗魚腸,沒有一點兒腥臊,撒上古月粉,能尋回古法味兒。如再鋪上油條,更相得益彰。最出色的是其燒鵝,半肥半瘦,皮薄肉嫩,油香甘之如飴,欲拒還迎。友人們各手捧一碟打卡,其樂無窮。 期間,經理驚喜連連,送上蓮香小禮品,內有蓮香小茶杯、茶蓋、茶包、甚是雅緻。各人拿著禮品合照,笑容可掬,樂而忘返。驚喜過後,甜品紛至。預訂的壽桃包,少甜不膩,配滑如凝脂的椰皇燉奶及西米焗布甸,直是人間極品﹗ 用餐尾聲,服務員艷芬沏茶守候,叮囑我們可多留片刻,閒話家常,更替我下樓付賬,賓至如歸。巧遇少年廚神,更為這頓飯錦上添花﹗ 後話:我曾欲點錦鹵雲吞,經理勸說粉皮太硬,不宜食用,殷實至此,甚有商德﹗ 香港有此一絶食店,以饗老饕,夫復何求﹗ continue reading

今日有同事訂了位話要一齊試下這間出名的店,未去前見到OpenRice 有這麼多負評都有點擔心。不過我們都有冒險精神一於一試!去到見到1樓已經有好多人,所以我們被安排上2樓坐,樓面阿姐好熱心問我們飲咩茶,又介紹點心區有什麼點心,又講這裡是要自己拎點心。還主動加水同收碟,本人覺得服務無想像中咁差。茶位每人18蚊,中點$30,大點$35,特點$42,頂點48,另有加一收費。我們4人食了10款點心有蓮蓉包(出面酒樓好少有,而且這個蓮蓉包裡面還有咸蛋黃,更希有呢),黑椒牛仔骨(好惹味),咖哩魷魚(口感彈牙),蝦餃(皮薄有蝦),牛肉腸粉(一般,粉皮太淋),糯米雞(大隻,餡料豐富),炸雲吞(口感鬆脆,不油膩),西米焗布甸(也是出面酒樓好少見,熱熱的布甸食落好香好綿,中間還有蓮蓉,不會太甜)等等。。。我們4人都一致應為份量同味道都滿意,無想像中咁差好彩可以訂位,如果要我排1,2個鐘隊食就未必會食。 continue reading

第一次食新開呢間蓮香樓,好熱鬧啲野又好好食,推介!蓮香樓真係香港飲食文化嘅瑰寶!無論係傳統點心定經典粵菜,每一樣都充滿懷舊風味,令人回味無窮。我最鍾意佢嘅金沙蝦球同埋蝦餃燒賣,皮薄餡靚,真材實料,食得出師傅嘅用心。環境雖然唔算豪華,但充滿老香港情懷,伙記親切有禮,成個氛圍好有人情味。價錢合理,性價比高,絕對係體驗地道港式飲茶嘅首選!仲有老香港嗰啲點心車仔好有香港味道。一定會再嚟幫襯,亦強烈推薦俾鍾意傳統味道嘅朋友! continue reading
