Dim sum quality is pretty good here and the staffs are friendly and helpful haha, enjoyed the yum cha time with my friend a lot haha, indeed worth for the wait

招呼一班韓國朋友黎香港玩,韓國朋友指明一定要帶佢地去試下傳統港式茶樓,唸黎唸去都係得蓮香樓最有"港式味道",一早就帶住佢地黎排隊,今日安排見我地成5個,安排到張圓臺比我地,韓國朋友仔見到"點心車"已經迫不及待冲上去影相.叫左個"魚翅花膠灌湯餃",第一眼見到灌湯餃D湯噶色水知一定好食,啲湯金黃又清透,望落去好清,但飲落好濃郁,花膠嘅膠質同雞湯嘅甜味撈埋一齊,飲落喉嚨都黏黏哋好滋補,D花膠脹卜卜好飽滿,灌湯餃一啖咬開,熱辣辣嘅湯汁湧出嚟,鮮肉餡仲帶住啲薑蔥香,正到唔使點豉油都夠味‌.韓國朋友仔第一吃食"鮑汁鷄腳"都話好特別,鮑汁濃到掛唇,鷄腳炆到甩骨又唔爛,入口即化,個汁甜中帶鹹,仲有啖啖骨膠原,夠晒入味。食完咀角黐住層漿甘.韓國朋友覺得最特別係"蜜汁蛋散"蛋散炸得金黃透光,咬落‌嗦嗦聲‌,蜜糖漿掛得勻循,甜度‌啱啱好‌,最正係中間嗰浸‌鬆化感‌,一啖落去先脆後綿,仲有啖蛋香吊尾,抵讚!仲叫左牛肉球同整排骨等等,都係中上水準.同行韓國朋友仔都食得非常滿足.

好耐冇過嚟啦,依家香港越嚟越少呢啲推車仔飲茶茶樓啦,真係“老港的味道”。豉汁蒸排骨、鳳爪、馬拉糕、黃金糕、蝦餃、鮮竹卷一定係必點㗎啦,開咗咁多年,都可以保持個水準,份量又足,排骨嫩滑,個鳳爪一食就知係自己整嘅唔係半成品,馬拉糕鬆化,奶香味好濃,鮮竹卷湯底濃郁,腐皮有袖口,中間捲着啲齋菜好香味,一啖落去夾埋湯底味好香,不過啲老茶樓呢都會有自己嘅傲氣,所以啲姐姐就會比較cool啲囉,不過唔影響嘅,呢d先係人間煙火味道。哈哈~

蓮香樓重開,一直想找機會去探店。適逢閨蜜過海複診,完事後便到蓮香樓尋找童年回憶。酒樓的裝修及陳設相當懷舊,大水煲、點心站及流動的點心手推車等均是絕無僅有舊式茶樓的特色。剛坐下便見有舊式的煎釀車經過,立即下單,煎釀三寶可隨意搭配,便點了釀尖椒、釀豆腐及煎餃,在點心單磕印的時候才知道是頂點,難得有人現場即煎,貴一點也是合理的。蝦餃王的厚餃皮還有豬油和筍尖的香氣都充滿回憶的味道,當然以現今的標準,出品不夠細緻,但卻承載着許多溫馨的情感和往日的美好時光。乾蒸牛肉屬懷舊點心,牛肉燒賣的主料應當是牛肉,奇怪的是這裏的出品牛肉味欠奉反而香荽味十足。灌湯餃的賣相非常不濟,味道同樣不行,餃皮上枱之時已明顯穿破令湯汁外溢,懷舊也變得不懷舊。牛雜貨真價實,一碗有齊各式牛內臟及蘿蔔,牛雜燜得入味又不太軟爛,非常滋味。糯米雞真的有雞件作饀料,也有一小截臘腸和其他肉餡比盛行的迷你版糯米雞豐富很多。

蝦餃皮痴住隻蟻,即刻搵個姐姐處理,點知個姐姐用普通話答沒問題的,但明顯有腳,佢知道我係香港人就用返廣東話話冇事架,唔係啲咩黎,用咗我對筷子夾走隻蟻,毀滅證據,我哋不斷問係咩嚟,但一直吱吱唔唔,最終就話係茶葉,我叫佢俾一對新嘅筷子我,佢比完之後就一枝箭走咗。人生第一次見有腳既茶葉。呢度點心唔難食,算中上。我覺得最大問題係負責人嘅態度,蝦餃皮上面好明顯係蟻,職員第一時間唔係諗點樣補救,而係毁滅證據,敷衍我哋。

話說前幾日同阿媽去咗蓮香飲茶去到門口已經排晒長龍,原本諗住唔排隊走啦都咁多人,見到蓮香派同事出嚟招呼客人,又準備咗茶同點心紙俾我地睇著。阿媽話佢以前感覺唔一樣,而家有活力同後生好多。又識講唔同嘅語言同客人溝通。阿媽話舊陣時蓮香啲人黑口黑面。飲完茶樓下仲可以買茶葉同埋買廢水飲。介紹茶葉個女仔對茶葉嘅了解都好清楚;又會了解吓阿媽頭先去樓上飲乜茶,再幫佢配茶葉;期間仲要見到佢回答好多其他客人嘅問題,不斷同我哋講唔好意思。我飲佢哋嘅春夏秋冬同陳皮燉檸檬。我哋走嘅時候仲去隔離舖頭斬咗個燒味。返到屋企阿阿爸話燒味正,送啤酒一流。
