本來諗住利苑酒家算係喺酒樓界有d名氣,質素應該有番咁上下。估唔到質素一般之餘,服務更加係負分。落漏單、落錯單、黎錯野通通齊哂。叫臘味煲仔飯漏左,叫蒜蓉炒豆苗變左上湯浸豆苗,明明無叫荷葉雞又黎錯左。叫白灼蝦無濕紙巾,問佢拎又遲遲都唔黎,最後要我自己去拎。不過最經典係,有waiter走過黎話幫我地d白灼蝦轉細碟,我地話ok。跟住佢拎起個茶壺就將d蝦倒入墊茶壺隻碟度,我驚訝到呆左,呢間真係利苑黎嘅?我求其去一間是但酒樓佢都唔會咁做!圖中嘅係片皮鴨,唔係例牌,已經有半隻,少得可憐。叫蛋白杏仁茶,唔係送嘅糖水而係俾錢叫嘅,佢粗魯得滯撞瀉左都幾多,只係淡淡講左句唔好意思,我阿爸都忍唔住話:「唔緊要,你俾過碗我囉。」佢扮聽唔明拎隻吉碗俾佢。呢間利苑嘅服務態度真係極差,我以後都唔會再幫襯!😡 continue reading

乾撈翅 ~ 利苑都失手??其實,我都幾鍾意食乾撈翅,因為係心機餸,考廚師功夫。乾撈翅上枱時一碗翅加一碗湯,見過一些食客立時把魚翅放進湯內,我通常都會O嘴。乾撈翅嘅精髓就係:以乾嘅翅身食得出翅湯嘅味道,即係雌雄同體。製作過程通常係先攞少少湯畀你試吓味,你可以俾意見,濃啲定淡啲,廚師會按住你嘅口味調教好個上湯,然後將啲湯逼入魚翅裡面。咁就考師傅炒功啦,不可炒燶魚翅,亦不可以濕笠笠,但要夠火喉炒到啲魚翅吸乾唒啲上湯。對我嚟講,嗰碗湯唔係太重要,我會集中享受乾身翅嘅味道,嗒清楚啲上湯喺翅身夠唔夠味,然後才飲湯。當然,你亦可以一啖翅一啖湯,悉隨專便冇乜所謂。今晚呢碗乾撈翅係生拆蟹底,蟹肉新鮮。但係魚翅嘅翅針不夠分明,最上面嗰一層魚翅有少少,輕輕的煎米粉質感,仲有啲蝦子,所以帶點煙韌又有點香口。「點解唔係好似食開啲乾撈翅,亦都唔係好似你menu幅相嘅?」 經理就向我詳細解釋: 呢個係改良版,附近好多福建客人喜歡呢個質感,較配合飲酒,面嗰層魚翅好輕輕煎一煎。坦白講,食落去個口感同味道係唔差嘅,都幾過癮,改良版無可厚非,你知啦,北角城市花園同和富中心,直情係小福建嚟㗎啦,而北角城市花園利苑一定係其中一間最早開嘅分店,起碼超過30年,服務福建幫客人都有幾十年了。所以,我要澄清:利苑係冇失手嘅,因為利苑係唔會失手嘅! 😉😉即刻用福建話唱返句先:愛拼才會贏!😂😂 continue reading

I have a very poor dining experiences at North Point branch on June 25 dinner time. It was a big surprise that we tried to order some signature dishes, eg \"片皮鴨\", \"沙溪燒米鴨\", \"污糟雞\"...but we were told that they are all sold out, the time is only 8pm.Finally, we have no choice then ordered a Set Dinner \"豐盛套餐\" costs ($998) together with 2 additional dishes on that night. A steam fish is mentioned on the Menu, however, it came up with a fish fillet hot pot, we then asked the waitress and a male assistant if that was the one mentioned on the menu. They insisted that was the same dish mention on the menu, we then challenged them why is not a steam fish , that was obviously a hot pot fish fillet. They then explained fish can be made in different ways...maybe the chef made mistakes... They didn\'t have any senses to apologies or return it back to the chef. Finally we can\'t stand for this explanations.. we seriously requested for change back to the original steam fish, the waitress reluctantly take the dish back and make change. Afterwards, this waitress served our table with very poor attitude. Actually the overall waitresses were not willing to help, there are all waiting for the closing time as they all playing with their smart phones or chatting happily. The quality of staffs in North Point Branch are below standard and training is needed for this group of staffs in order to maintain the high standard of brand image. continue reading
