We were going to a Lebanese nearby but it was full so we settled for Le Souk which has some Michelin poster on it thus we went in. The seatings are extremely tight, if one move, the other table’s guest might fall over. We ordered chickpea hummus, eggplant hummus, pita bread, sardines, tagine chicken & tagine lamb. I am sorry to say the taste for all are mediocre, chicken has no taste maybe it is frozen meat they used. The lamb was like a meatball with tomato sauce & peas, the eggplant humus has too much raw onions on top. We were seated by (almost under) the bar but my husband has to squeeze in the extra tiny space so it was not enjoyable evening at all. Will never recommend this. continue reading

呢晚收工就同朋友黎左蘇豪區呢邊食飯:)同朋友揀左間食中東北歐菜既餐廳!!店内位置唔算好多,但裝修都幾有特色,咁岩有位唔洗等xpp店員會好熱情咁介紹返佢地既招牌/特色菜,聽完一輪,我地都揀好食乜啦=]我地total嗌左四樣食物,分別有一款沙律“Roasted Fresh Fig Salad”HKd$105+10%;一份前菜小食“ZAALUK”HKd$75+10%;一款肉類主食“Lams Tagine”HKd$190+10%同一份蔬菜“Cous Cous with Vegetables”HKd$120+10% share食~~沙律率先黎到,當中既沙律菜好新鮮,同個酸酸甜甜既sauce 同cheese 好夾!!個無花果仲要好甜添!!!!!之後作為小食既“ZAALUK”都好有驚喜,兩塊包身都好鬆軟,配上香濃細滑既醬料同吃,十分滋味~~其後既主菜都係店員推介既,我地揀左羊肉,配上佢地既香料米飯~~羊肉燉得鬆化軟腍,調味濃而不嗆!!!而配上既特色米飯有如小米,混合左香草同提子乾口感同味道都有別於平日我地所食到既白米,值得一試!呢個“Cous Cous with Vegetables”係店員極力推薦我地試既,佢話同個米飯超夾~~食落有d似我地平日飲羅宋湯既味道,加上有唔同種類既蔬菜係入面,味道都真係好唔錯:)個晚我同朋友都飲左杯“smooth”HKd$46+10%~~我飲既係草莓味,朋友就要左杯mangooo ;) -我地對呢到既食物同服務都好滿意,加上環境同氣氛都好好,店員又係當地人,簡直就好似過左一晚中東之夜咁,係一個相當唔錯既體驗呀!!!! continue reading

有朋友老公係 Muslim, 所以同佢地食飯都要細心選擇餐廳,經過soho區見到le souk 主要係食摩洛哥菜,同埋係米芝連餐廳,環境又好外國feel ,好有氣氛,所以決定擇呢間啦!佢地最愛食Hommos既野,所以我地選擇左hommos chicken.Hommos 就係鷹嘴豆泥,佢地既豆泥調味得好好,唔會好似出面禁太過酸,夾埋香烤惹味既雞肉同佢地既大餅黎食,健康又美味!之後叫左個crispy prawn salad 沙律菜好新鮮,用醋汁作醬,健康又開胃,沙律菜上放滿烤過既蝦仔,烤到好爽脆,果然係crispy 🍤, 正呀👍🏻之後我地叫左2個main一齊share moroccan seafood paella呢個係類似西班牙海鮮飯,都係燴飯既一種,但佢地係用上摩洛哥既飯,所以出黎效果好香,飯質感好特別,軟熟不粗糙,配上各款海鮮,例如 蝦,蜆肉,仲有好多紅椒,青豆配料,好豐富好美味,呢個我地認為必食👍🏻lamb tagine呢個見每個入黎既人都叫,好受歡迎,用充滿摩洛哥風貌既陶瓷鍋盛裝, 羊肉鍋用上佢地家鄉既香料配製,羊肉多汁香濃,好嫩滑,仲有其他配菜橄欖,豆,薯仔等。全都好入味! continue reading

Le Soul門面同內部裝修都以橙色同藍色作主調, 配上各式玻璃吊燈, 色彩豐富, 卻又不會有強列色彩對比嘅刺激感, 給人一份不經意的悠然感。 前菜點咗Egyptian Mezze Platter, 呢個拼盤可以一次試盡多款前菜, 非常豐富。Hommos同兩款茄子蓉口感細緻, 我就最鐘意其中一款帶有濃濃蒜香嘅茄子蓉, 配烤餅食一流!春卷香酥可口, 入面充滿濃厚芝士餡。 Seabass魚塊非常厚肉, 魚肉肉質嫩滑程度令人喜出望外, 肉間油脂充沛, 口感極佳。 鮮紅色醬汁充滿紅椒同香草味, 配粒粒分明北非小米(couscous), 就更加地道啦。呢度嘅couscous吸水後唔會變得軟趴趴, 細細咀嚼每粒都富有彈性, 很有顆粒感。曾經試過自己喺屋企整couscous, 但總做唔出餐廳水準。好奇一問之下, 店主竟然毫不吝嗇, 帶我哋到廚房展示一盤粒粒飽滿嘅couscous, 仲教我地喺小米吸水軟化後要再蒸一蒸, 同時加入牛油, 令其粒粒分明同變得飽滿。估唔到今日竟然有機會走進Le Soul嘅廚房, 感謝店主嘅熱情, 呢一餐真係學到嘢呀! continue reading
