Sitting around a boiling hotpot and putting delicious ingredients in the pot is always wonderful. Under the threat of Coronavirus, hotpot seems to be unwelcomed by many. Personally, 2-people cautious hotpot is not a problem, especially here when the restaurant adopts cautionary measures.When we arrived, the waitress washed the cutlery and bowls under boiling water in front of us. Much appreciated and relieved. Eaters are seated with space between too.A good hotpot starts with its soup base. Highly recommend the nourishing 螺片花膠雞煲. The soup itself is flavourful and addictive. I had 2 bowls before using it as soup base. The ingredients are served in generous portion.Apparently we did not order much platters but the portion was more than enough. We were really full when we almost finished the chicken. We ordered homemade beef ball, Chinese cabbage, homemade cheese beancurd crust, and udon. The cheese beancurd crust is worth a try! It’s heavenly to have the melting cheese embedded inside the hot crispy beancurd crust! The place actually offers an array of meat and seafood platters. What’s the best thing to do on a cold winters night?? Having hotpot with your friends of course!!I really like this hotpot place because they are close to the station and in a convenient location. And they have quite a lot of options o their menu as well!They specialize in chicken pot, but because we were just two people that day we ordered a normal soup base (the tomato one) so we can have more stomach room for other hotpot ingredients.Did you know that they prepare their fried items fresh? I highly recommend their special cheese heung ling (bean curd rolls) ! It’s one of the best I’ve ever tried. The melted cheese really goes well with it!The fish skin is another of their fried item that comes out fresh and pipping hot. I like to put it in the soup base for a few second before eating.We also ordered some items like diced beef, pork jowl and fish skin dumplings. All were high quality ingredients and came out delicious after cooking in the flavourful tomato soup base.Recommend this place if you want to chill and eat with friends! continue reading

最近天氣涼咗,去打邊爐係一個非常之合適嘅選擇不過想食啲食物質素較好嘅火鍋,見呢間餐廳大部分食材都係主打自家製,實在非常適合對食物有要求嘅我哋呢度位處23樓,景觀開揚,坐喺呢度食飯都覺得幾舒服湯底分別有一般嘅火鍋湯底同雞煲湯底食材我哋揀咗好多自家製嘅食物,因為自家製食物味道會較獨特原來呢度有時段優惠,咁點起食物上嚟就更加唔使擔心價錢太貴滋補螺片花膠雞湯秋冬季節,我地都係揀返啲滋補嘅湯水嚟做湯底呢個湯底份量十足,隨便夾起都見到有花膠同雞肉飲咗啲湯試下味,味道清甜, 完全唔係出面嘅味精湯可以比,用嚟打邊爐就唔怕唔健康自家製響鈴響鈴係打邊爐必備,呢款響鈴佢哋係即叫即炸,所以上枱嘅時間仲係熱辣辣響鈴唔會過厚,先將佢索咗花膠湯再食,表面微微香脆,內裏索滿湯汁,令人忍唔住食完一件又一件自製韮菜餃呢款韭菜餃就咁睇已經非常飽滿,食落充滿韭菜香味餃子皮又唔會太厚,非常抵食西班牙頂級黑豚豬腩片有個咁靚嘅湯底,就揀咗啲質素較高嘅肉類嚟配搭呢款豬腩片比起平時食到較濃嘅豬肉味,肉片肥瘦平均,咬落較有口感蟹子墨魚滑呢款墨魚滑比出面食到嘅較爽口彈牙,墨魚香味濃,唔想揀太肥膩嘅食材,呢個都係一個唔錯嘅選擇手打牛丸比起普通牛丸,手打牛丸牛肉味較重,而且口感更好稻庭烏冬打邊爐到最後,一定要有一個麵底索番所有湯汁嘅精華,所以呢款烏冬比平時更好食如果想追求食物嘅味道同質素,喺呢度打邊爐的確係一個唔錯嘅選擇 continue reading

今日去到旺角打邊爐, 呢間舖我哋喺油麻地到已經幫襯過一次, 記得上次佢哋個花膠雞煲做得幾好味, 所以我哋再嚟食多次, 餐廳做緊 某時段嘅半價優惠主要係七點半前埋單或者九點半後入座, 所有火鍋配料或小食半價。滋潤螺片花膠雞煲(半隻)個雞煲好足料, 都幾多花膠, 個湯底好清甜, 有雞嘅鮮味, 冇味精, 我哋當日冇嗌過飲品, 都唔覺得口渴, 同埋我哋一邊食過雞煲一邊飲個湯, 到打完邊爐差不多飲曬成煲湯。手打牛丸牛嘅味道幾重, 食落口嘅質感爽口彈牙。自家炸響鈴響鈴應該係即叫即炸, 因為上枱嘅時候我仲聽到響鈴發出一點油炸嘅聲音, 我哋將佢浸落個湯度三至四秒就食, 可以索到湯嘅精華, 食落都仲有 脆嘅感覺。自製韮菜餃韭菜餃包得好飽滿, 餡料主要係韭菜和豬肉, 個皮正常厚薄, 味道正常。羊肉片呢度嘅羊肉片都算幾大片, 有羊嘅味道但係唔騷。蟹子墨魚滑墨魚滑食落爽口, 調味都做得唔錯, 食到墨魚嘅鮮味。 continue reading

<<呀媽帶我去威系列>>5冬天太陽落山落得快,好多時我收工個陣,太陽已經落緊山。番屋企既途中,甚至已經睇唔到太陽添。今日收左工,急急腳坐車去旺角同呀媽食雞煲。上到去個陣,竟然睇到咁靚既景窗邊有啲雞仔公仔哈哈。食物種類繁多,雞煲都有好幾款。其中比較特別既有螺片花膠,花雕藥膳,胡椒豬肚呢三款。最後我地揀左花雕藥膳雞煲。配料類都有好多唔同既選擇,有肉類,海鮮類,手打/自製既丸類同餃子,菜等等。因為我地比較細食既關係,所以淨係叫左山根同象拔蚌。九宮格醬料比你自己揀同撈。主角雞煲黎到,聞到一陣濃濃既藥材味不落去都見到好足料,真係落左好多藥材落去煲。花雕味相對就淡左啲,不過鐘意飲藥材湯既我竟然食雞煲都食到類似既味道,實在好開心入面啲淮山最後仲比我食哂添!而且佢既雞肉幾滑,肥油唔算多,連皮食都唔會有罪惡感。平時無乜機會食象拔蚌,所以特登叫黎食下。第一轉唔知煮幾耐,烚到好un之後慢慢捉到應該烚幾耐,就食到爽口既象拔蚌啦山根正常發揮~呀媽揀既~最後叫左罐芒果啤酒share。酒精唔強,濃濃既芒果味中和左啤酒本身既苦味,同時啤酒都令芒果變得無咁甜,balance得好好,要自己搵下邊到有賣先得埋單都唔算平架!不過呢到坐得舒服,景又靚,店員都會不時逐張枱望下啲客有咩需要。而且雞煲款式比較特別,唔會得平時食開既口味,配料亦都新鮮,證明佢選料都無馬虎。所以總括而言係值得既,有機會可以翻兜 continue reading
