今日係年終清假最後一日,瞓醒落高街再試新餐廳。今次由救恩行到正街,逐間睇menu,其實冇咩心水,見依間店員主動搭訕,咁就試吓你啦!Set lunch有4個course,湯或沙律,主菜($98起),甜品同咖啡茶,另加一。我揀左吞拿魚沙律,margarita pizza($98)。先送上麵包藍,係兩塊長法包,暖暖地有d脆,不過同Italian Cuisine嘅比,我鍾意後者多d。吞拿魚沙律嘅份量都適中,不過太多olive oil,食到成口油,生菜都萛生鮮,如果加少少黑橄欖,會惹味d.Margarita pizza有8-10寸闊,開8件。我鍾意薄又脆嘅餅底,依個pizza底我都ok鍾意。pizza上枱時,侍者同時送上一支非常大支嘅辣椒油,睇真d,應該係自家用橄欖油同辣椒浸嘅,我怕太辣,第一次只係落左幾滴,一試,點解冇味嘅?!跟著就落多d喺碟嚟點,講真,我唔太食得辣都覺得冇辣味,鍾意食辣嘅,一定唔鍾意囉。講番pizza味道,因為芝士落得夠多,食嘅時候有拉芝士絲嘅效果,讚!以平淡嘅margarita口味,萛合格。跟餐送嘅甜品係急凍tiramisu,跟預期一樣,唔好食,唔講完全唔知係tiramisu,建議cancel送甜品,轉加錢換,同時提升甜品質素。總括而言,la terra set lunch食物質素不及italian cuisine. 不過真係要讚店員嘅服務,非常主動細心! continue reading

走到高街街頭,原定有1,2間目標餐廳。不過,不是多人,便是餐牌食物不算吸引。漫無目的,走到這餐廳前,外籍男店員 (可能是老闆) 主動招呼,考慮一陣便試一試。店內環境簡潔,裝潢雅緻,且食客不多,最岩想閒靜地食午餐的我 男外籍店員主動講解,並指出那些食物已售完及推介代替食物南瓜湯 配 2件小麵包。南瓜湯不如大多數餐廳的螢光黃,偏向少少羅宋湯色飲下一口,口感獨特,不如忌廉般濃厚,微微帶點辛辣,而又不過份,非常獨特,不求其麵包烘得香口,只嫌是全白麵包,沒有味道,如果能加點香蒜、蔥再烘烤會更好餐枱上附有橄欖油,不過我沒有興趣。男店員主動詢問是否需要牛油。 Good! 烘脆麵包配牛油主菜炸魚薯條相比南瓜湯,反而有點失色。雖然鮮炸,香脆,不過清淡一點,都可算清新。配搭的只是較普通沙律醬而並非期待的 他他醬,美中不足。而薯條只是麥記式長幼條,不夠脆身。整體而言,小店值得支持,服務同樣貼心,男店員非常有禮 + 主動。食物可以再改進注意,大部份以英語交談為佳。 continue reading

It's a medium-sized restaurant among many other restaurants in High street. But it's a hidden treasure to me as it provides superb good food at reasonable price, nice atmosphere & excellent service!  I ordered Caesar Salad that's very fresh, ribs that're usually too sweet in sauce in other restaurants but just right here, Carbonara that's simple but perfect, creamy but not greasy (never had this quality elsewhere) and the last item was a chef recommended dessert that's so tasty & crispy - Strawberry Napoleon (they named it Pavlova) and it melted at once when entering the mouth! Highly recommend this restaurant!!! continue reading

高街有好多小本經營的西餐廳,我和老公特登行上去搵食!見老闆在門口誠意推介two courses dinner, 我們入去試了冷氣,就坐底了!見開酒都只是$140,就開了支白酒!以為好雞勒,但卻不是,half sweet, half dry, from C朗國2013!蟹肉牛油果salad....菜新鮮,蟹肉好味,牛油果不是太肥美,但也好,不會太肥!原條烤sea bass ...以為會好鞋,但肉卻是很滑!可惜港燦的我兩不是太慣,相公仲話有甜豉油就perfect!到了甜品,那Pavlova一上枱,我兩以為會好甜好漏,但吃了一口就不得了...杏仁餅底入口即溶,白色的cream有三四個層次:cotted cream, mashmellow texture cream, icing sugaring cream topping...咩事吖!!好多cream, 但一點也不漏!上面親了strawberry slices, blueberries and passion fruit seeds...甜酸度親得剛剛好!我兩只用了5mins 就爭食曬件嘢!之前在西點店Sift 初嘗此甜品...驚為天人!今日homemade 的from La Terra....是七、八倍的好食!這歺開了$140酒+$305 3 courses dinner , 合共$500 !仕應老闆也沒有白眼我地,服務一絲不駒!所以決定下海寫我生平第一篇食評獻給此店以示鼓勵,希望大家比多d機會生意比e一類小店! continue reading

I had dinner here with my family last night for Mother's Day and we couldn't have picked a better restaurant. Hari, the Director, greeted us with a smile and led us to our table.For appetizers we had the Crab Avocado Salad and Beef Salad. The Crab one was good but the Beef one was great. The beef was grilled perfectly and the flavor was amazing!For our mains, we had the Lamb Shank, Spanish-style Ribs, 4 Cheese Pizza and a grilled fish (forgot what it's called). The lamb was so soft, it was falling off the bone! The ribs reminded me of Iberico ham so it was slightly spicy. I've never had ribs prepared this way before so it was a pleasant surprise! I'm a big fan of cheese so I enjoyed the pizza too. The crust was nice and thin, just the way I like my pizza. My Dad doesn't like cheese so he found the pizza a bit salty. The fish was tasty and juicy. It's a shame I was already quite full at this point so I just ate a bit of it. But the winners for me are the Lamb Shank and Spanish ribs!For dessert, we had tiramisu and cheesecake. I found the tiramisu too creamy but the cheesecake was perfect.I would definitely come back to La Terra and will highly recommend it to friends. The service staff, especially Hari, are so attentive and friendly. The food was amazing and the restaurant's location in the up and coming High Street in Sheung Wan is just a stone's throw away from where I live. Plus, they serve really good bread! continue reading
