除海鮮外,雞是第二愛。特愛烤雞,因為有stuffing特別香,特別好味!早幾日路過此店,只供外賣的一間小店。店外大大隻字表明全是法國的雞隻,無激素全天然健康。裹面三位職員見我停下睇店前嘅介紹,報以親切自然嘅微笑 。還要多想嗎?試!整個過程他們都很友善,服務態度很好。當我表示要菜作side dish時,還主動提醒可以選兩種不同的配菜(有薯粒,雜菜,蕃茄螺絲粉揀)。雜菜是炒的,有長豆,青豆,紅蘿蔔,西蘭花,青瓜。不油,不會過熟。健康好味!份量頗多。雞稍咸,但好香~ 有肉汁~ 最重要食得放心,錢洗得開心~ continue reading

上環的法國烤雞由開張到現在也有幫襯,初初香草烤雞比較現在的雞肉味道濃得多,而且遠遠也被香味吸引,以前老板就在店裏親身上陣,心中特別感覺到法國風味;外皮香脆味道濃郁,內𥚃雞肉香嫩,算得上是高級西式外賣。但是現在多了分店,質素好似有點下降,餐湯比較稀,水多了,喝時不夠濃不夠creamy;烤雞少了點香草味,只有鹹味,雞肉咬上去少了嫩滑感覺,偶然一次也可以,因為現在配菜選擇多了,有加分的忌廉蘑茹意粉,和朋友那份滿是雞油香的焗薯仔,也稱得上可口,但總是欠了原來的法國氣味,而且午市套餐由68加到72,就有點不爽,哈哈,讓自己發點牢騷,下次再比多次機會吧! continue reading

一個剛畢業的黃毛小子在中環上班, 每天外出吃午餐實屬高消費活動, 所以平時都是帶飯的, 只有星期五才會一大班同事出去食慶祝Happy Friday。 這幾天天色陰暗又不時下起雨, 使我心情都有點鬱悶。終於等到天晴, 便想著今天四處走走。其實中上環這老區有很多值得到訪的地方, 明明從公司走過一條街便可欣賞這個小社區那些老店, 每天都只留在高樓大廈, 實在不太珍惜了。今天打算經荷里活道走上太平山街, 卻因為小巷傳來的香味而止步了。走進這條小巷, 有好幾間小店Café, 香烤味從那間只做外賣的法式餐廳傳來。Set menu $68, 有1/4 烤雞再加side dish, 可選自家製的湯或檸檬茶。餐廳格局十分細, 只裝得下一個open kitchen, 顧客排隊都要在店外排。一個Open kitchen讓顧客看著店員切烤雞, 夾side dish。看著店員背後的大烤箱轉著幾十隻烤得金黃的雞, 我決定要吃這個了!今天的side dish 有三種: 西蘭花, 烤薯仔和長通粉。落單時店員(我想他們都是法國人)會細心的提你可以全選三款side dish。我對著這三款都難捨難離, 當然要全選啦!這餐廳還有提供French quiche, 一件都只售$3X, 的確挺吸引。因為這餐廳都沒有提供座位, 我決定走到新紀元廣場。到達廣場後發現那兒早已有很多上班人士坐著水池旁吃午餐。找個位子坐下後, 急不及待打開湯。今天的是番茄湯, 濃郁的番茄味配有應該是已壓碎的薯仔, 濃稠的湯加上香草, 十分開胃。 湯的分量倒不少, 溫度亦剛好。然後主菜了。外賣盒設計十分細心, 分隔了 side dish 及烤雞, 兩者的汁不會混在一起。紙盒的厚度不會讓油過底, 就算手拿著盒子吃都不怕弄雞皮的油分比想像的少, 未見太多黃色脂肪, 怕肥的女士就算走皮只吃肉亦能吃到那烤香味。這個由法國運來的穀飼雞肉質十分嫩滑, 甚至有入口即溶的感覺 。餐廳用了黑椒和香草醃著這雞肉去烤, 味道完全参入雞肉, 而且不太乾身, 實在一流!Side dish 亦給我無限驚喜, 首先是長通粉, 我並不喜歡過熟的通粉太粉的感覺, 這個通粉煙韌有嚼勁, 令我更意外的是明明沒有看到白汁, 卻每一口都吃到濃濃的忌廉蘑菇味; 烤薯仔亦是另一個驚喜: 雖然盒裡的是一粒粒大薯仔, 感覺卻像mashed potato, 一點都不硬, 加上黑椒更是惹味!Lunch Set $68 的確抵食, 平時單叫1/4 烤雞都要$50, 再加side dish 要$25, 食材全由法國入口, 十分優質。 坐在這裡放下電話, 任由腦袋放空, 口裡吃著滋味的午餐, 雙眼漫無目的看著人來人往的街道, 耳朵聽著滴滴答答的水池聲, 呼吸著廣場內並不渾濁的空氣, 秋天剛到, 微風打在臉上, 今個午餐, 「依擺分」!分量對於一個女生剛剛好,男生的話可能不太夠。 continue reading

難得要在中上環買外賣飯盒,特登兜去上環買法式燒雞做晚餐。店舖不算難揾,迎面有很多人提著它的外賣盒,在皇后大道中已經看到小巷中有一家小店,外面站滿了人;況且飄出來的香味老遠都嗅到了(我帶外賣上電車,幾乎全車人都嗅到!)點了四分之一隻雞(給了脾位我啊,感動),side dish則選了French Potatoes(另有french beans和法式家鄉燉雜菜). 如果把法國雞的價錢都考慮在內,七十五大元的價錢其實甚為相宜。燒雞走嫩滑路線,脂肪十足,香料味道都滲進雞皮裡,但泡在肉汁裡,失去了外皮的焦脆感。反而side dish薯仔質料上佳,雞油的味道浸滿了薯仔,形成厚脆的外皮,加上香草的調味,真係要俾個GOOD下次會encore薯仔同埋試下佢個蛋批。服務方面,幾位法國哥哥姐姐的口音真係非常法國,嗰個程度唔係會聽錯冧巴,而係你唔知原來佢嗌緊冧巴!唔唯意真係好易MISS咗......另外,真係要讚下佢個外賣盒設計,除咗佢嗰隻係冷酷黑中一隻温暖小紅雞的圖案,佢本身個盒已經隔開咗兩格,唔駛雞油浸腍D薯仔--而且佢既紙質非常堅挺,用油浸都冇過底!(看到二人份的盒仔好似西餅盒咁一抽過就好羨慕,點解我要孤單寡人食燒雞架嗚嗚嗚)........ continue reading

The smell of roasted chicken around Hiliary street always attracts my attention. Decided to join the long queue during lunch time on a normal weekday. Fortunately the staff is very efficient! From paying to getting the lunch set spent me less than 10 min. $68 gets you 1/4 chicken + 2 sides + pumpkin soup or tea/coffee. Very good deal. It was still warm when i arrived my office. Its smell filled up the whole room and my colleagues were so tempted.The chicken rated 8/10, 2 marks deducted for the relatively less well seasoned meat part that is without skin. If you peel the skin away then the flavour is less outstanding; otherwise if you eat the devil skin together, i am sure it will be 10/10. I love the side dish more than the chicken itself - the roasted potato is the best i have ever tried. Not too oily despite the fact that it was roasted with the chicken oil dripping down from above.Green peas are good too but not so outstanding. The soup is normal. It is a fulfilling meal and definitely will encore. continue reading
