We were around this building which was full of restaurants during weekday lunch time and wanted to try something new. We saw this Kobekyu, the CWB branch of which we had tried before which was pretty nice. So we walked in to try our luck. Restaurant wise this branch was much bigger and brighter with a much better view as it was so high up in the building. Seating was very comfortable and we got to occupy a 4-seater table by the window!Although we had tried their CWB branch before, we had never tried their signature 吉列牛! This time we decided to try it out. 吉列牛定食 at $148+10%The whole set was served to us very soon. There were so many slices of beef cutlet with a perfectly thin and crispy crust and slightly cooked interior. The portion was not small indeed! As they served wasabi on the side, I suspected that the beef cutlet could be eaten right away. Yet with the small cute stove nearby, we ate the beef after grilling them for a short while. As I said, the beef cutlet had a perfectly thin and crispy crust and it was still juicy inside. It was good that you could grill it however long you would like to. The light green garlic sauce went quite well with the beef while I didn't try the brown soy sauce. Accompanying the set was a bowl of hot pearl rice topped by some 飯素. The pearl rice was better than those plain rice out there. There was also a miso soup with a lot of seaweeds and two appetisers being 1 cherry tomato cut into 2 pieces and a piece of cold tofu both in Japanese sesame dressing. Both appetisers were fresh and healthy.Another signature we ordered was their 咖喱忌廉烏冬(牛). We got to choose between either beef and chicken. Of course we had to go for beef given the name of the restaurant!咖喱忌廉烏冬(牛) at $78+10%It looked so interesting that the whole bowl was full of cream. The udon was smooth and of those thick type. The curry sauce was nice and not too spicy at all, although the menus said this bowl was a bit spicy. There were quite a number of small beef cubes which were reasonably tender. There were quite some veggies including onions, mushrooms, broccoli and leek. The cream seemed to have made it smoother but not overly greasy. Apart from the two mains, we also ordered a snack to share.Kobekyu 牛油蜜糖單骨雞翼 at $65+10%We chose this again given its name so it must be one of their signatures? Indeed, the wings were really good. There were around 5 whole wings cut into halves which were so convenient to eat. They were freshly deep fried yet wouldn't burn your mouth. The skin was very crispy and thin and they were well seasoned so that they were slightly sweet with the flavour of honey. Some sesame was sprinkled on top. We finished them all in no time. Overall, we were quite content with the food. Service was very efficient that we finished our meal in around 30 min. When we left we also saw some very cheap lunch sets with curry rice plus a cutlet side. Will definitely come back again.  continue reading

疫情之後好耐冇約朋友出嚟食飯,前日咁啱朋友仔得閒,諗住出去旺角打個轉,佢話有朋友試過有間日韓式烏冬幾好食, 就陪佢一齊試吓。餐廳位於出名多嘢食嘅彌敦道726號17樓,有一邊落地大玻璃,景觀開揚!如果可以坐喺窗邊卡位一邊食一邊欣賞風景都幾寫意,可惜今次我哋得兩個人未能安排。忌廉咖喱烏冬初初上到枱有點嚇親,成碗忌廉好似好厚好漏咁嘅樣,但係用筷子一夾,就發覺只係忌廉打得綿密,同底部嘅咖喱烏冬同牛肉混埋一齊,又幾OK喎!牛肉一啲都唔靭,咖喱烏冬係帶日式口味夠香又有微甜,烏冬都幾煙韌,係一個唔錯嘅選擇。另一款吉列牛定食都唔失禮,包括有麵豉湯,冷豆腐,蕃茄仔,仲有芥茉醬同燒肉汁俾你揀!粉嫩嘅牛肉俾脆脆嘅吉列包圍,放上石燒爐上面輕燒,點上醬汁,真係外脆內嫩,我自己比較鍾意燒肉汁,將剛燒好既吉烈牛點少少醬汁再配一啖白飯,又熱辣辣又juicy!網上面見到好多人食過牛油蜜糖雞翼讚好,黎到當然要試吓啦,雞翼夠大碟,而且係單骨嘅,食起上嚟更加方便而且更加入味,果然冇叫錯! continue reading

之前跟同事lunch的時候在銅鑼灣分別試過他們的烏冬,令我念念不忘,所以今晚跟友人來到旺角店再次品嚐一下!餐廳座位都幾多,卡位位置可以望到旺角街景。Kobekyu牛油蜜糖單骨雞翼,這款雞翼是炸雞翼,上面淋有蜜糖和蒜蓉,甜甜的,味道特別!咖哩忌廉雞肉烏冬,烏冬可揀選雞肉或牛肉,我揀選了雞肉,肉質都幾滑!烏冬面頭的忌廉不會太厚身,感覺不會太漏!咖哩汁掛滿在烏冬,非常濃味,帶有少少辣,能夠刺激味蕾!烏冬內還有洋蔥、西蘭花等吸味蔬菜,特別美味!吉列牛定食,這間餐廳另一招牌就是吃吉列牛,牛肉是可以自己石燒,可以自由烹調自己想要的生熟度。吉列牛外邊脆口,牛肉肉質鬆軟,配有芥末醬和牛肉汁可以點,十分惹味!定食還包括有車厘茄、凍豆腐、飯和面豉湯,食完一份已經超飽了! continue reading

自從食過一次石燒吉列牛之後,蕃薯妹就迅速愛上呢一個菜式😍今次朋友仔帶我嚟旺角食呢一間「吉列牛忌廉烏冬專門店」,同樣係出名食石燒吉列牛,而且仲有一樣非常吸引嘅創意招牌菜,忌廉咖喱烏冬,聽個名已經好想試。當晚我哋嚟到餐廳,店內都幾多食客,抗疫期間進入餐廳需要量體溫,冇問題店員就安排入座。 座位與座位之間都用隔板隔開左,等食客食得放心吉列牛Set dinner有三個選擇,方便1-3位客人share享用。我哋order左一個吉列牛定食+咖喱忌廉烏冬,另外叫多一客雞翼。吉列牛定食 $148首先上枱嘅係吉列牛定食,定食入邊包括前菜芝麻醬蕃茄仔、芝麻醬凍豆腐、麵豉湯、米飯同埋主角吉列牛,吉列牛炸到外層鬆脆,入面嘅牛大約3成熟,將牛扒放上石燒爐上面燒熱,只係聽到燒肉嘅滋滋聲同香味已經垂涎三尺🤤 牛肉口感鬆軟,牛味香濃,沾上芥末沙律醬或者燒肉汁兩種風味醬汁,各有各精彩。絕對值得一試!如果吉列牛唔夠食可以另外加錢加配,不過我地嘅食量唔大,就覺得兩個人食一客份量啱啱好😋咖喱忌廉烏冬 $78可以選擇牛肉或者雞肉,我地揀咗牛肉。原來咖喱汁同忌廉可以咁Match!撈勻之後忌廉令到個汁味道好豐富,咖喱味依然香濃,烏冬食落口好滑,好正👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻牛油蜜糖單骨雞翼 $65單骨雞翼食得好方便😋 雖然外層沾滿醬汁,但係口感依然係脆嘅,肉質依然係咁juicy,仲好香牛油味~ 價錢唔貴,質素又好!真係要推薦俾大家🙌🏻蕃薯妹而家寫寫吓又好想再去食過🤣 continue reading

吉列牛忌廉烏冬專門店Kobekyu,單看餐廳名稱,仲以為只可以食牛,原來有很多其他選擇,主打忌廉烏冬,可以選擇牛肉🐂或雞肉🐓,我選了雞肉,朋友點了吉列牛定食,另外再點了一個小食,連加一服務費,埋單$320,價錢不算貴。牛油蜜糖單骨雞翼$65,有牛油和白芝麻香味,蜜糖甜甜地,而且單骨比較容易食,味道很好。吉列牛定食$148,外皮炸得很脆,仲有個爐俾你自己燒,生熟程度自己決定,幾好玩嘅,有咬口但唔會韌,有肉味,真係牛有牛味🤭。咖哩忌廉雞肉🐓烏冬$78,上碟時全個碗都覆蓋著白滑的忌廉,因為我地坐窗邊位置,樓層夠高,可望到遠處景色,忙著打卡,加上陽光普照🌞,忌廉在陽光照射下,轉瞬間就消失於無形,碗裡的烏冬變身成金黃色的咖哩色調,雞肉和烏冬都散發著濃郁的咖哩氣味,忌廉就像生命中的過客,緣盡即散,雖然他們無緣廝守到老,但烏冬得到忌廉的眷顧,也變得非常滑溜。👍餐廳樓層較高,窗邊座位可望遠景,而且卡位非常寬敞,感覺很舒服,除了餐廳主打的吉列牛和忌廉烏冬外,午餐有多款茶漬飯可供選擇,下次會再來試試🤤。 continue reading
