Non-alcoholic Beer

Surprisingly, this non-alcoholic beer has a strong yeast flavour and it's more fruit and even a bit floral in taste. The size was even taller than the alcoholic one. I personally liked this even more and it was great for those who can't drink but would love to enjoy the feel of a chilled beer.

Pineapple and Peach Summer Special Drink

For those who don't like beer at all, there is a wide range of other drinks and we have tried this special summer drink which was made with some blended pineapple, peach along with some milk. We have asked for a less sweetened version and I think they really knew what we wanted. It was fruity, chilled and hydrating during this hot summer!

The farmers roll came with two small plates of cheese and liverpaste. It was too hard for my liking but if you like to chew on hard bread, then you ccan order one to try.

The pork knuckle was fantastic. We didnt ask them to cut it for us so could see the whole thing on the plate. This portion was very big, definitely enough for two people and the taste was very nice. Skin was crispy and the meat was soft. 

The overall price was not cheap, 600 HKD for the three dishes plus two drinks but it was worth it.

Remember to make reservations as the plce does get crowded.

The first thing I noticed as I walked in was the very high celling, the many European flags (some looks to be regional), and live music! Even with just a keyboard and a singer, live music was what set the mood and gave this place a whole different vibe.
The menu was simple, and food items are quite traditional (I think), I’ve seen most of these dishes in Germany, or that I was in the tourist area and got the tourist menu... Anyways, we decided to start with a beer/ cocktail then tried a few things which looked familiar to us.

Then Schweinshaxe (the famous pork knuckle), this thing was huge! They presented this dish with the intact pork knuckle, and then offered to cut it off the bone for us! The highlight of this meal to me was actually the side dish: potato salad! It tasted exactly like the ones I had in Germany, a little warning: this salad is more to the sour side than you might expect, most potato salads in HK are quite bland, this one is more complex, with a lot more flavors, I loved it!

最後一道甜品就令人失望了。
分兩個醬,一個是藍莓醬,另一個像是奶酪醬。
我個人是偏好奶酪白色的那個醬,
不過整個吃起來就是怪怪的,不是很好吃。
挺令人失望的。

已經很久沒有到赤柱赤柱都變得很像一個新地方原先我們想吃意大利焗飯所以先到美利樓一樓但那所餐廳的menu實在太少所以到了美利樓二樓的據說這所餐廳最出名的就是豬手原先我們想點一個沙律一個豬手但看到menu 在豬手旁邊的括号一至兩人用 (一般西餐都是十分大份)所以我們都決定稍後再點餐果然這個決定是沒有錯的店員事前會詢問我們是否要代切第一眼見到d豬手真係嚇親以為成盤都係肉好彩 佢係包埋一大舊骨第一口食落口真係好重豬味不過d肉好軟唔會好老 係用叉都分得開果種不過 個皮好硬係用刀都整唔爛但當放落口果時D豬手皮連住d '骨膠原' 真係好有質感食落去脆脆地又有少少軟膠係皮既下面食得太濟 仲有酸菜做伴碟佢仲有薯仔係到 不過我地兩個人食都食唔哂所以真係好掋

赤柱都變得很像一個新地方

不過d肉好軟
唔會好老 係用叉都分得開果種
不過 個皮好硬

是夜友人為我預祝生日而來到位於美利樓的分店,當然要坐在露台的位置,邊欣賞寧靜的夜景邊享受美食。我印象中好像沒有真正的吃過德國菜,所以事前也頗期待的,可惜兩個女生能點的菜不多,未能多嘗幾款。農夫包配牛肝醬和芝士醬麵包質地較煙韌,我自己一向抗拒動物內臟,不過制成醬也可試一下,但淺嘗後還是不喜歡那不知怎形容,濃烈的味道,還是芝士醬比較對我的胃口。煙三文魚配薯餅煙三文魚下是香脆的煎薯餅,兩者搭配起來也不錯,而薯餅是一條條薯絲煎成的,還配以醃過的青瓜。豬手配新薯酸椰菜來這吃德國菜,這幾乎是必點的菜式吧,豬手的外皮烤得相當香脆,但內裏的肉又不會過老,還是嫩滑的,我喜歡配酸椰菜同吃,可以減低油膩感。最後以火焰雪山作結,由於是慶祝生日的關係,場內的歌手更為我唱起生日歌,氣氛很好,店員也為我們照了一張即影即有。說回這甜品,賣相更勝味道,光看燒起的火焰也夠讓我心花怒放,值回票價了。

這間店無論什麼時候都人流很多,這附近最出名就是這家吧。點了農夫包,雜腸,牛肋骨。坐位是很舒服的卡位。農夫包,配上牛仔肝醬以及奶酪醬。牛仔肝醬很濃郁味道很好。奶酪醬裡面有香草以及咸肉粒也不錯,農夫包偏硬。牛肋骨,分量很大肉也多,蒜辣調味很好,整體的味道不錯。雜腸配酸薯。很多種不同的腸,例如雞肉腸,法蘭克福腸,辣味腸等五種腸。味道都不錯皮脆質感好,不過腸仔呢個價錢好似貴了一點。。。有駐場演奏,還可以點生日歌,氣氛很不錯。

 呢間餐廳其實元朗店已經食過幾次自助午餐,今次路經赤柱,便入去試試獨立菜式,清清地叫了幾個菜,基本上都不錯,反而招牌豬手比較乾,同皮硬了一點,其他都合格,感覺上叫菜比自助餐好食,但自助餐就款式選擇較多^_^呢碟我覺得最好食,清新用香脆二合為一,good尚可,有煙肉伴在碟底,但我呢碟負責任最多,即機乎得我食^_^!應該有麵包,芝士放湯,味道不錯,侍應生好好,幫我分左兩碗,分量剛好Ok,但有點乾應該ok,友人叫,唔記得名多種果汁混成,好味火陷雪山,味有點似木糠布丁的雪糕,尚可,我喜歡甜品,所以佢是必要食品之一^^
