年糕炒蟹- not a fan of crab. Tasted one piece of 年糕:explosion of flavors. So salty and sweet at the same time. Had to take some gulps of water. Others seemed to be enjoying the crab tho. My brother loved the Chinese peas that were mixed.

鴛鴦小鍋貼- these 鍋貼 were smaller than the usual ones. Mixture of pork and vegetarian. I preferred the vegetarian- less oily. The outside was very crispy for both. I liked.

今日一行四人在蘇浙滬同鄉會午膳,會員朋友點菜,先來了一籠小籠包,好多汁,好味。繼續上了素菜包,饀內很多菜,素食者必愛。 這是我第一次食的清炒上海雞毛菜,很爽很甜。來了碟淨牛筋,很惹味,牛筋不硬亦不靱。在這會所午膳,燻蛋是我們必選。這裡肴肉是我的摰愛,味道仍然是那麼香,溶在嘴裡,非常入味。最後一碟熱素黃雀,比較平凡。這頓飯很開心,既能聚舊又能品嘗佳餚。

這是我第一次食的清炒上海雞毛菜,很爽很甜。
來了碟淨牛筋,很惹味,牛筋不硬亦不靱。

這裡肴肉是我的摰愛,味道仍然是那麼香,溶在嘴裡,非常入味。

第一次到香港蘇浙滬同鄉會食飯,一所只招待會員的食肆,仲要係在獨立房間內,房內的隔音設備一流,一關門,大廳的聲音幾乎消失,只會在侍應開關門時才聽到外面的聲音。由於是朋友請食飯,拍板的都是朋友。他一早問定我地各人食唔食翅,因為要預訂。訂的是最貴的火瞳雞炖大排翅,翅的粗度被我們稱為「公仔麵」,夾起來好軟,金華火腿香飄散出來,魚翅吸曬濃濃的高湯,就算金華火腿和雞肉已成是「湯渣」,火腿的咸香油甘味繼續正到爆。醬汁方肉又是極之好味,朋友介紹好啱女士食,因為骨膠原重。還有蔥燒海參,啖啖海參肉,有種充斥口腔的幸福感。一道清炒蝦仁又係無得頂,平時我地會覺得大蝦先抵,可是這裏的蝦仁卻是細而鮮味的,朋友介紹這才是功夫。素菜包最值得介紹的不是裏面的餡,而是包的味道,正。另外點左個餐飯沒有的墨魚肉+豬肉(唔知咩名),又係十分惹味。至於松鼠桂魚、生煎包、鎮江餚肉、炸饅頭等等,個人覺得味道都是屬於上等味道。朋友請客,共8人晚餐,埋單大致是9千左右。

一想到朋友係美國返嚟香港,知道他們要食好東西,一定要帶他們到這裡吃。三藩市已經禁食魚翅,先來煲火膧大鮑翅,上湯濃沃,魚翅粗粗的,大滿足。必食的還有清炒蝦仁,毛豆炒蟹,松子魚,有齊魚蝦蟹,再來四寶片皮雞和樟茶鴨,仲有熏蛋,真是豐富又好味道。

我們點了: 燻蛋、無錫脆鱔、沙鍋醃篤鮮、素黃雀、年糕醬炒青蟹、黃金明蝦、素菜飽、桂花糖蓮藕、棗泥鍋餅。燻蛋煙味重,脆鱔夠脆和夠甜,我很喜歡。素黃雀則是我第一次試的。這個菜是用一塊腐皮包著一些冬筍、蘿蔔等爽口的食材,然後打結,好像一隻小黃雀。沙鍋醃篤鮮令我有點驚喜。由於筍和百頁本身沒有什麼味道,整個湯應該是靠火腿和鹹肉類吊味。 如何令湯有鮮味而不只是死鹹,真考功夫。黃金明蝦做得很脆 - 蝦很新鮮,蛋黃夠多,很邪惡。反而年糕醬炒青蟹的蟹不夠蟹味(但也很新鮮)。雖然我們只有三個人吃午飯,但也叫了兩個甜品。 桂花糖蓮藕看來簡單,但其實做起來很麻煩的,所以一定要叫。咬落爽脆的蓮藕內有糯米的煙韌,還有桂花的香味,感覺很浪漫。而棗泥鍋餅的棗泥很香,但不太甜,也值得一試。

燻蛋煙味重,脆鱔夠脆和夠甜,我很喜歡。

雖然我們只有三個人吃午飯,但也叫了兩個甜品。 桂花糖蓮藕看來簡單,但其實做起來很麻煩的,所以一定要叫。咬落爽脆的蓮藕內有糯米的煙韌,還有桂花的香味,感覺很浪漫。而棗泥鍋餅的棗泥很香,但不太甜,也值得一試。

Came here for a good friend’s birthday. Menu was pre-ordered.First time to try lamb terrine. Not gamey at all. It was quite tasty.The eel dish (which only used the meat on the back of the eel) marinated in soy sauce, garlic, dark vinegar was different. I usually had it either in black bean sauce or deep fried. The sauce had a good balance between savory and tartness.The clear chicken broth in the casserole was superb - got a hint of jinjua ham. First time to try lamb terrine. Not gamey at all. It was quite tasty.
The eel dish (which only used the meat on the back of the eel) marinated in soy sauce, garlic, dark vinegar was different. I usually had it either in black bean sauce or deep fried. The sauce had a good balance between savory and tartness.
The clear chicken broth in the casserole was superb - got a hint of jinjua ham. Loved the cabbage and the tiny triangular egg omelettes that were soaked in the broth.
I though the extra thick scallion pancake was okay. Too doughy for me. Preferred the regular ones.
The braised sea cucumbers were not too soft so texture was just right. The sauce was good.
The steamed unscaled Shi fish (鰣魚)is a delicacy and hard to come by. This fish has a lot of fine bones so it takes skills and patience to enjoy. The meat is soft and sweet.
The jinjua ham w bun was good. Not too salty.
The bite size dumplings were tasty and juicy.
The longevity bun was customer ordered.
Last but not the least, champagne is most forgiving with Chinese food !!!

Ambience - had a private room with a round table more suited for 10 than 12. Felt a bit tight. We were elbow to elbow.
Service - average as it could be more attentive. I kept pouring champagne and wine for my friends.

四寶片皮雞- 平常一般我們吃的是片皮鴨,這裏有一道特別的菜式四寶片皮雞,炸子雞炸至金黃色,師傅在將雞肉片成薄片,拌在旁邊的分別是酥炸小黃魚,炸紫菜卷,和炸番薯。炸子雞炸得酥香美味味,最特別的是炸番薯,炸番薯的粉漿拌有少許苔條(即類似海苔的食材),香味頓時增加許多。所有菜式平放在一個大的碟子上非常有氣派。

三鮮鍋巴- 這道三鮮鍋巴,比較特別的是汁醬像湯羹一樣,客人把鍋巴點在湯羹一下,再一同吃用,稍有不足的是三鮮湯羹比較清淡和鍋巴伴着一起吃味道稍有不足。

青炒豆苗 - 豆苗是冬季當做的菜,這道清炒豆苗相當有鑊氣,值得一讚。
瑤柱蛋白炒飯 - 菜式當中另一道較清淡的是瑤柱蛋白炒飯,炒飯中帶有青蔥和青豆,似乎有一點蓋過了蛋白和瑤柱的香味。

甜品方面點了兩道 :
高力豆沙 - 有別於一般餐廳撒上白色糖霜,這裡用的是粉紅糖霜,看起來仙氣感大升,高力豆沙炸得鬆軟綿密,豆沙不太甜。
豆沙壽桃- 由於道別同事,所以特意點了兩碟壽桃包,可能店員知道我們想點蠟燭,專門為我們用碟子擺出壽桃包山,很有派頭。

個人感覺這裏適合大夥兒一同聚餐,餐廳的職員親切有禮,餐廳職員經常幫客人換骨碟,也會詢問菜式味道如何,親切細心,是值得推介的一間餐廳。
