每當提及尖沙咀的重慶大廈,很多人都會聯想到龍蛇混雜、低廉賓館、異國背包客和色情行業等負面感覺,更甚的會害怕得急急走過或繞道而行,那些人跟本沒有對它作過真正了解,其實這裡也有值得欣賞的一面。在重慶大廈居住或經商的以印巴和非洲人士居多,故此大廈內的印巴商店及咖喱餐廳特別多。其中位於E座7樓的「 7E咖哩王」可以算得上是重慶大廈元祖級咖喱餐廳,1991開業至今廿多年,隱蔽低調從不拉客,專賣傳統巴基斯坦風味菜。老闆會講廣東話,母親是華人而父親是巴基斯坦人,餐廳曾經接受TVB及雜誌訪問,菜色均是正宗印度菜,廣受不少明星、香港人和外國人歡迎。 由於大廈及政府發牌條例所限,7E咖喱王以會所「Khyber Pass Mess Club」名義經營,門外張貼“只招待會員”告示板,其實很多鄉里及本地或外籍人士光顧照樣歡迎。店內沒有特別裝修,甚至感覺有如住家式食堂,大概能容納四五十個座位。主打照牌菜包括咖喱羊、咖喱雞、咖喱蝦、天多利烤雞柳、芝士烤餅、洋葱烤餅等,烹調比印度咖喱重口味,濃辣濃油,香料味豐富,辣得很有層次。肉類都是從回教屠場入貨,做得最好吃是羊肉,乾燒羊肉Mutton Bhoona是鎮店名菜,肉嫩濃郁。Goat Vindaloo巴辣羊肉咖喱香辣腍滑,羊癡必吃。 由於大廈及政府發牌條例所限,7E咖喱王以會所「Khyber Pass Mess Club」名義經營,門外張貼“只招待會員”告示板,其實很多鄉里及本地或外籍人士光顧照樣歡迎 ▲Papadam 印度胡椒餅 (附薄荷沾醬) ~ 隨餐免費附送 ▲Naan 印度烤餅 HK$22 ~ 烤餅用炭爐烤製,即叫即烤,非吃不可 ▲Rogan Josh 印式燴羊肉 HK$85 招牌咖喱羊,辣中帶香草氣,肉質柔軟,咖喱味道層次豐富,質地黏稠,拌飯很開胃。辣度分大中細,任客人選擇。 ▲【提示】記得向店家索取這張塑膠會員卡(免費),憑卡可獲九折優待 continue reading

重慶大慶,聽人講食咖喱好出名,也聽人講那裏龍蛇混雜。所以我捉了阿哥來壯膽深入虎穴吃好西。在門口有派傳單,拿了一張,見這麼多明星宣傳,應該有保證,就決定了這間。一入重慶就很多人拉客。好彩拿了張傳單,有個人見我們拿著,走來說帶我們去。我們見他也拿著這些傳單,才安心跟他走。穿過像迷宮的走廊,他帶我們到電梯,給了我們一張VIP咭說有折,指示我們撘到7樓就可以。看見門口寫著只招待會員。我拿著VIP咭應該可以吧?好彩入到去見有兩三枱客,加上店員友善的態而且會講中文,環璄又光猛,感覺都乾淨,讓我們稍稍安心下來。因為第一次吃,還是先試少少吧。要了一牛一羊。牛要了白汁、羊就要咖喱。白汁很讚。有不同香料,有腰果,味道香而帶甜。咖喱則味濃,微辣,很惹味。兩個肉的份量都不是很多,但味道很好,很有口感。這麼好味的醬汁當然要叫烤餅拌著吃。有三大塊。外脆內軟,好味。不過蘸了醬汁更好味。今次真是很好的體會,下次有機會再試其他。 continue reading

同朋友傾開計,最近食左間佐敦咖哩幾好食,佢就話講咖哩當然係去重慶大廈食先正宗啦!喺重慶大廈地下遊走一輪,佢帶咗我去左7e 咖哩屋。一來就送上前菜,脆卜卜脆餅再加上綠色香料醬。我們可以一邊食一邊點, 因為我唔食牛,所以我點了一份羊,一分雞。燒羊肉咖喱,Masala醬汁令到羊肉酸酸地。好多羊肉啊, 炆到好腍,有啲係連埋骨,好似食羊腩煲。另外洋蔥煮到淋曬,吸收曬Masala醬汁好正。印度香料雞,對比起燒羊肉咖喱冇咁辣,上面有啲椰絲。不過我我不太喜歡椰絲,所以還是燒羊肉咖喱取勝。食咖喱一定要配烤餅,今次我們點了兩款來配撘。烤餅分量好大份, 足夠配兩個咖喱。蒜蓉烤餅。蒜蓉好香,烤餅表面可以見到蒜蓉粒同埋牛油,還有一些香草。芝士烤餅,他的芝士是放在烤餅中間, 初時我以為他的芝士會放在烤餅上面,印度烤餅的芝心餅,我都係第一次試。如果跟咖喱一齊食,我覺得都係蒜蓉烤餅比較配合。滿分為10分(1分最低,10分最高)食物:8環境:8衛生:8服務:8價錢: 8舒適度:8總分:8 continue reading

好耐冇去重慶大廈食咖喱,咁啱朋友講開去過7E咖喱王食,覺得唔錯,所以今晚又去試吓~ 喺重慶大廈門外,已經有唔少印度人喺度拉客,見到有7E 嘅員工,佢哋就帶我地入去~ 店舖雖小,但坐得算舒服~ 店員都好有禮貌,一嚟已經俾我哋填表,送九折卡俾我哋,下次可以用~ 我哋叫咗三樣嘢食加兩個烤餅同飲品~ 每台都有的餐前小食,烤餅,味道唔錯,又薄又脆,醬料酸酸地,好開胃,小小辣~ 特色香料雞 $78香料味好特別,甜甜的,微辣,有奶油味,味道好好,令人忍唔住要再食下一啖😋 用嚟配薄餅真係好正👍🏻 而且雞肉好嫩滑,好入味,推介大家試吓👍🏻串燒免治牛肉卷併香燒雞塊上菜嘅時候,因為係鐵板上,所以熱辣辣,出晒煙😵 串燒免治牛肉卷,好重牛味,裏面有香草,味道特別,肉質比較實~ 香燒雞塊係雞脾肉,肉質唔錯,香料味好入味,大大件,啱晒食肉獸~ 燴薯椰菜花$62薯仔同椰菜花都煮得好腍,好入味,用咗印度香料,味道濃郁,我哋亦係用嚟配薄餅食,都非常唔錯~ 芝士薄餅$35好香芝士味,口感好好,就咁食都好好食,配咖喱汁食一流👍🏻蒜蓉烤餅$24亦係非常好味,好香蒜蓉味,又唔會好鹹,亦係配咖喱食非常夾😋 芒果乳酸$35我見在場食客差唔多每人都叫咗一杯😵 香濃嘅芒果味乳酸味,甜甜的,有啲似楊枝甘露,真係好好飲,十份推介👍🏻食物好味,又有人情味的小店,推介大家一試😋 continue reading

老豆鍾意食辣,但又唔鍾意油膩嘢食, 所以對麻辣火鍋,川菜嗰啲興趣不大, 呢日諗起可以帶佢食印度菜, 所以呢日就特意來到重慶大廈7樓呢間好多人推薦過嘅餐廳-7E咖哩王 ( 餐廳名即系地址7樓E室, 包你唔會去錯地點👍😆)一坐低老闆就送上一客威化胡椒餅, 塊餅又薄又香脆, 胡椒味頗突出, 鹹鹹地好開胃😁兩個不太了解印度菜的傻瓜望著餐牌良久仍未能決定吃什麼, 旁邊嘅老闆決定出手, 好好笑容咁行過嚟問我哋有咩特別想食, 我哋就反問有咩推介😆, 佢話既然係咁一於幫我哋叫個前菜, 一個羊肉同雞肉咖哩,加一個薄餅, 額外每人一杯飲品, 聽落就知有幾豐富🍻🙌🙌前菜- 印度咖哩角✨喺我腦海中咖哩角同春卷差唔多, 都係炸脆咗個皮, 裏面包住啲有咖哩醬嘅雜菜絲... 估唔到印度咖哩卷個皮係香脆咁多, 外面餅皮比一般春卷厚實, 但由於新鮮炸好,輕易就能咬開, 外皮亦比我想像中"輕盈", 一點也不油膩👍外皮冇咩咖哩味本身有啲失望, 原來咖哩嘅精華在餡料之中! 裏面包住有咖哩香的薯仔和青豆, 完全有內脆內軟嘅效果, 食到裏面熱到冒著煙,又香軟嘅薯仔蓉,好滿足💕💕 老闆仲特意提醒我哋可以點啲薄荷醬食, 估唔到又幾清新喎🌿🌿跟住到就到重頭戲咖哩啦! 呢間嘢叫咖哩王,一於睇下佢既功夫👅食咖哩點可以唔叫番客烤餅,蒜蓉烤餅一上枱,蒜香撲鼻而來, 每塊烤餅足足兩隻多手掌咁大, 上面除左秘製蒜蓉醬外,仲灑上了各種香草🌱, 咬落去外面烤得香脆🌾裏面軟綿綿💖💖開始入冬梗係把握機會食羊肉啦, 羊肉好嫩滑, 肉質一絲絲輕易咬開, 肉汁混合咖哩香料簡直係絕配,老豆就覺得醬汁再稠啲同辣啲會更好食, 大家睇埋落去就知最後結局係點🍴難得食到正宗印度咖哩梗係唔可以浪費半點醬汁, 所以我同老豆一齊用烤餅"洗碟"😍😂✨🍅 特式香料雞 🍅✨醬汁主要用蕃茄蓉打成, 值得出絕無混入茄膏, 所以味道清新怡人,酸酸甜甜, 冇估到食印度菜都有咁好食嘅香料番茄醬, 由於醬汁夠濃夠稠,所以每一件雞件都被厚厚番茄醬重重包圍, 雞烹調嘅時間剛好,肉質保持足夠水分和柔韌度, 越食越嘴尖嘅老豆都要讚一讚😎💫💫新聞講到老豆話咖哩汁唔夠辣, 咁啱老闆過嚟問下我哋對食物嘅意見, 同佢講聲先至知道原來老闆已經好細心咁調教味道遷就香港人, 怕太辣本地人唔接受唔到, 所以唔同我哋講:下次落單嘅時候,喜歡食辣嘅朋友一定要叫加辣老闆誠意款款地立即到廚房為我哋添加已加辣嘅咖哩汁, 辣椒籽嘅刺激立時提升印式咖哩的風味至另一層次, 所以喺度鼓勵鍾意食辣嘅朋友一定一定一定要叫加辣!食完辣野又點可以唔飲番杯凍飲, 提起乳酪凍飲第一時間聯想到一啖啖砂糖嘅味道, 呢度嘅芒果乳酸反而唔太甜喎, 仲加入了不少新鮮芒果粒入去, 好似喺度飲緊新鮮芒果汁咁,好fresh 好解辣, 完全有冰火交融之感💥🍃老闆好好笑容咁喺門口送我哋走, 仲遞上咗呢張VIP membership card, 以後來幫襯就有九折,即係免加一服務費啦, 即係下次又可以用優惠價再尋印度風味啦🍸🍢🍗🍖🍛🍛🌿 continue reading
