It's good when you don't have to line. But is it that good - no. It is not worth the hype. Curry beef brisket is a bit salty but otherwise it is pretty good deal and tasteDefinately an establishment to go to when no line and support it so it stays aliveIf you are on Gough St and you want to have Hong Kong food then go Kau Kee and not the tomato soup CCT opposite as Kau Kee is better. 前2天9月23日専程坐車到上環九記嘗嘗清湯牛腩麵,到座後叫了2碗清湯牛腩麵,來了2碗都是粗面,原來現時没有幼麵的選擇。麵硬口感差,湯底味精重及甜味太重,十分奇怪為何甜味咁重,牛腩味淡粗鞋,牛腩順纹切法奇怪,令牛腩肉質口感太韌不好吃。。。以前人山人海的九記清湯牛腩去了哪兒呢???收費每碗成惠$55元正,收費與食物質素完全不符比例!!!怪不得全店客人疏落,不用排隊等侯便有位。真的完蛋了,照片也没拍便速速结賬離去。之前看到的差評也设在意,原來是真實寫照。。。。其他地点收費三,四十元的清湯牛腩,比九記的清湯牛腩還好很多。 continue reading

限聚令放寬、昨日同老友記即興落九記隊翻碗麵,唔使排隊,馬上入閘。先叫碗咖喱伊,20年來從來未試過食剩半碗、啲面煮得過諗,嗰啲牛腩望落去好似全部一絲絲以為已經問得溶化,點知全部攝牙,啖湯大不如前,沒有咖喱的香味,食食吓仲送條頭髮俾我再來一碗淨爽、咁多年來不嬲不是每舊係爽就係人都知,總會俾啲下欄嘢你,但爽腩完全唔掂,一啲都唔爽,唔入味、太多肥油淨河粉:湯永遠係靈魂,飲落去同之前簡直天淵之別,好像飲師姑尿一樣淡而無味舊夥計同我講雖然我哋人腳有少少變動但係最緊要牛腩冇變........PS : 去之前請你煲一煲 「暗花」先好去 continue reading

住了香港那麼多年從來沒有去這家店吃。第一因為地點比較偏僻,而且一直聽到這家店很多人排隊,所以一直沒有過來嘗試。今天周末剛巧到附近吃晚餐,看到這家店終於鼓起勇氣入內。由於是下午茶時間所以基本上沒有什麼人不用排隊。這家店在是香港開了80年的老字號。全店只買一款產品就是牛筋腩面。點了最有名的咖喱牛筋腩伊面,份量不大但已經要60元實在不算便宜。牛筋腩非常多而且煮得非常嫩滑,咖哩的味道簡直就是齒甲留香,又辣又香口。最驚喜的是伊面,很少店鋪會用伊麵配上牛筋腩這種做法。伊麵泡在咖哩汁內。完全吸收了咖喱的味道實在超級好吃。這次的偶遇簡直就是太值了。 continue reading
