To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Food and Health Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department has launched the "League of RSS-friendly Restaurants" ("League"). Restaurants participated in the League will offer less-salt-and-sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the League Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 在赤柱玩了一整天肚子也餓了,是時候吃晚餐了。金記好久沒吃了,可惜這間沒有菠蘿包。裝潢設計很特別,用了麻繩和燈泡製造懷舊的感覺很好。食物選擇還滿多的,麻辣雞片米線吸引了我的目光。那照片也拍得太美了吧,辣油紅彤彤的,好想吃。當食物送到桌上時,我嚇了一跳,這不是我點的吧,怎麼是黃色的?有點小失望。可是吃得一口後,味道倒是可以接受。微辣,些許麻辣的香味,加上蒜酥一起吃,好好吃喔。雞肉片頗多的,如果有些蔬菜那就更好不過。 continue reading

Consistently bad attitude with the staffs, quality of the food deteriorating, and questionable hygiene. We came in a few times and the last 2 times the waitresses had such bad attitude, we felt bullied and abused. The toast was cold so the butter could not be melted. The baked spaghetti was so stingy on sauce. Overall food quality is better than the service we received... continue reading

來到赤柱,預了食的價錢不會平,下午茶時間還是想吃港式東西便來了金記,金記的裝修每一間都很有特色,適逢平日下午茶時間,不太多人,坐得很舒適。下午茶時間炒粉麵飯平均大概50幾蚊,赤柱來講都OK啦,雙拼蛋治都成$38,結果我都係叫咗個鮮茄焗豬扒飯, 凍檸茶小冰,盛惠55蚊。凍檸茶先來,味道正正常常,一杯普通嘅茶記凍檸茶。鮮茄焗豬扒飯金記話係佢個招牌,芝士係唔少的,飯又係炒飯底,豬扒很林相信有落鬆肉粉,茄汁當然唔會比鮮蕃茄你,係茄膏啦,個份量其實係一個迷你嘅份量, 午餐同晚餐先至有正常版,男人來說差少少才會飽。金記我最欣賞始終都係佢個裝修,食物質素就普通,但以我所知其他嘅分店個價錢其實都偏高嘅,反而赤柱來講就好正常。 continue reading
