好多國家都有各自獨特嘅早餐文化,而好多唔同國家嘅早餐都可以喺香港呢個地方食到。但我最鍾意嘅,始終都係茶餐廳嘅早餐。今日去左呢間裝修比較懷舊簡樸嘅茶記食早餐。佢有張檯係比一個人坐嘅,而我好開心今日可以坐到呢張檯。早餐 $40揀左沙爹牛肉米粉、菠蘿包、茶走,仲有煎蛋。其實本身想揀沙爹牛麵,但覺得呢個早餐已經夠邪惡,唯有懶係健康咁揀米粉算。沙爹牛肉米粉一見到嗰陣都幾震撼。可能係我食過嘅沙爹牛肉米當中最多塊牛肉嘅一碗。牛肉多到舖滿曬成碗米粉,隻碗唔大,佢係裝到啱啱好唔會瀉咁,米粉同沙爹牛肉好多但湯唔多,所以撈埋之後好濃好濃沙爹味,濃到好似沙爹牛肉撈米粉咁。米粉煮得好軟身,感覺唔難消化。啲沙爹一開始食第一啖嗰陣覺得甜甜地,之後食下食下就覺得鹹。味道唔係話特別好食,但個份量同濃度就好驚喜。菠蘿包通常呢啲早餐都係配牛油多士/牛油麵包。呢到就特別啲,有得揀餐包或者菠蘿包。咁我以為呢啲跟餐嘅菠蘿包會係迷你size啦,點知佢好大個,大過我喺麵包舖可以買到嘅菠蘿包。仲有口感好紮實。好鬆軟好好食就唔算係架啦,但就真係好飽肚。食量大嘅男士應該幾啱食呢個餐。煎蛋都幾多油,個蛋黃超級流心。好似間間茶餐廳都會將雞蛋同麵包放喺同一隻碟上面,但其實我唔係好鍾意咁。因為我覺得啲油同埋蛋汁好容易流過去啲包到,影響到個包。所以我食呢隻煎蛋嗰陣好小心翼翼,好驚啲蛋黃汁會流左去個菠蘿包到。茶走個人鍾意飲茶走多過熱奶茶。呢杯係正常茶走啦,唔會有過多嘅煉奶所以唔會過甜。但都唔係好滑。普通quality啦。本身想試埋呢到嘅蛋撻同雞批,但其實個早餐食左一大半就已經好飽,完全試唔到更多嘅野食。同埋因為唔想浪費食物,所以食曬成個早餐,食完之後飽到想嘔,到依家都未肚餓。如果大家好肚餓/食完之後要飽好耐嘅話,強烈建議大家食呢間。 continue reading

Love this place to bits - it's a place that you must visit if you're holidaying in Hong Kong island.Prices are higher than the normal Hong Kong styled tea houses (chaa chaan teng) - because this one is the champion of them all.One of the things that make this place unique - is that they have an in house bakery and you can order your standard HK fare (satay beef instant noodles/milk tea/friend egg) WITH a thick-cut butter in a pineapple bun.  Most other HK tea houses no longer bake their own breads or out right refuse to serve a pineapple bun with their breakfast meals as an add-on.I do not have words to describe this place - its amazingly well crafted buttery bread, and balance goodness of satay and noodles.  A classic comfort food in Hong Kong.They also have an English menu, if your Chinese isn't up to scratch.  continue reading

行過成日見到好多人等位同買菠蘿包、椰撻、蛋撻、雞批、紙包蛋糕等等,而我通常會食佢既常餐,$40幾蚊,有野飲,有菠蘿包,又有個粉/麵。如果散叫會有啲貴,就咁杯野飲都$20幾蚊,不過都好多人食個包/撻,再加野飲。今次唔係好餓,所以淨係叫左奄列餐,腸仔奄列、菠蘿包、凍奶茶。$43熱辣辣既腸仔奄列,蛋好香,但油左少少🤏🏽。菠蘿包,唔係岩岩出爐,所以爭啲,但個菠蘿皮依然好脆。奶茶係金鳳既鎮店之寶,好多人都一定會叫,茶味濃,奶適中,去金鳳必試。 continue reading

有一段時間無食過這間,今日行到這邊覓食,又無其他店啱,於是食佢,快靚正,叫了佢個特價午餐,要沙嗲鮮牛肉通、火腿奄列、菠蘿包、熱菜蜜,好快上餐,啲沙嗲汁好濃稠、杰身的,但不會過䶢,即使未撈落啲湯度食也唔䶢,牛肉唔韌,尚算嫩滑,份量也足,個菠蘿包也不錯,尚算鬆軟,如果熱辣辣仲正,個火腿奄列好飽滿,內裡的火腿絲足料,味道剛好,個菜蜜比較甜,成個餐$49,食到好飽,服務態度也ok,但地方比較窄,出入唔太方便. continue reading
